I worked with Kira to manage my “new to me” curly hair. (Like many, I’ve recently found that the actually have wavy hair.) I started with a consultation, but booked immediately because Kira understood my hair AND my desire to keep it as low maintenance as possible. During my consultation Kira gave me some tips that made a huge impact! Added bonus - no pressure to purchase the products she was showing me! Kira absolutely understood that I have products at home to finish before I am ready to try new ones. I felt zero pressure from Kira to buy the salon’s products. (I will in the future, but mostly because they do work better for my hair!) When I came in for a full cut, her knowledge was shining through! I walked out with not only a cut to help me have amazing hair, but love for my wavy hair in all its stages (freshly clean and styled, refreshed, and “let it blow up” mode). I look forward to working with Kira again!

Neww customer so it was my fault for being 15 late, but in all fairness, they had blocked an 1hr.15 min for my apt. They just charged me the 50$ and told me to fly. The door was locked and no one was at the salon when I arrived 15 late. Took another 10 to get the girl so ya by then way late.

I’m a curly hair pro, but I don’t do my own cuts. The stylist I’d been seeing for years recently moved, and I’m in the middle of growing out damage caused by a year long illness. I saw Kim for the first time today and I was blown away. She shaped my hair perfectly, she has a thorough understanding of what to do with curls (and how to style different kinds of curls!), and she was super careful about preparing my hair for continued growing-out without taking it too short. Plus, no Seattle or Bellevue parking stress! Pro tip: get some Russian style dumplings to go from the store next door.

I have fine, thin, curly hair, and have always been hair shamed in the past. Not here! Siobhan is the best! I love my hair again. Plus she has the best "chair side" manner, remembering every detail of my life and keeping the experience fun and entertaining.

My fantasy hair color with Roman is amazing! It's vivid, beautiful, and more than I imagined it could be. Roman listened to me at my prior haircut and consult. He had the colors in mind and ready, without having to re-explain. At the same time, Roman was more than willing to discuss it again and make any changes as needed. He listened to me and checked with me throughout the process to make sure we were always on the same page. The price for all this was great, and I wish I could have left a 100% tip. I can't wait to go back, at the same time, I hope these colors last as long as possible. Thanks Roman, you did a wonderful job. As a side note, the conversation was upbeat, eclectic, and touching.

Every visit to this salon is a pleasure. The environment is relaxing and my color is always outstanding. With each visit I get lots of complements for my every changing color palette. Kimberly, Siobhan and Roman have all left me looking lovely. They also do a great job on with a short edgy haircut for my teen.

I had the opportunity to work with Kim as a model for a Curl System by Curl Cult. First of all, I was greeted warmly and was delighted with a personal latte in a clean, airy salon. I tried Kimberly Irene Salon after I received a very bad haircut and needed fixing immediately. I popped in and met with Siobhan. She listened as I explained what I wanted. She not only helped me with the cut but we created my own style and I love the color! I am very happy with the professionalism, creativity and friendliness of this salon. I am now a regular!

Kimberly is great at working with you on what you want for your hair and then delivering. She has done an amazing job of bleaching and then coloring my hair while keeping the health of my hair in mind. There is a relaxed and friendly environment between everyone at the salon too.

Roman is the best! He has helped heal my son’s trauma he has received at other salons in the past. My son is neurodivergent and it has been a JOURNEY finding the right person for him. I met the owner, Kimberly and she introduced us to Roman. Roman instantly bonded with my boy and made him feel safe on his chair. I will forever be grateful to Roman for his healing and making my son look so good!

This salon is wonderful! Staff are all incredibly friendly and good humans. I got both a cut and balayage during two separate appointments. Was really happy with Siobhan’s skills and for making a vague description into a low maintenance but beautiful cut and color. I got something very subtle but it was still noticed by a lot of people so huge thanks to Siobhan for doing just the right amount of color to compliment and brighten my overall look :) Also extremely fair pricing for the work and time. I was impressed by all aspects of them salon! They have amazing coffee!! 😝

I have been looking for a top notch seasoned hair professional to do some bold rose gold coloring on my hair. I tried another salon about 4 months ago and was unhappy with the results (I asked for rose gold, but got copper.) Anyway, I made mention to my nail gal how I loved the color in her hair and asked where she got it done. At that point she pointed down the hall to Kimberly Irene Salon! How convenient! I waited a few months to pull the trigger as I was having some hair color anxiety, but I finally went in this week and I am so so happy with the results. Kimberly was patient with me, asked lots of questions to understand what I was seeking and even responded to an email about conditioner post appointment. I found my hair lady and I cannot be happier!!!

I visited Kimberly Irene Salon yesterday and had such a great experience! I saw Kira, she’s in an apprenticeship program so I thought I would give her a shot for the color. She listened to all my concerns and did a very good consultation and explained everything thoroughly, discussed it will take a couple appointments to transform my hair from where it is now to what my goal is and my color/highlights look great! I went to the owner, the aforementioned Kimberly gave me my haircut and it’s EXACTLY what I wanted. I can’t recommend this salon enough! This is the new location and it is just beautiful! I drove all the way from Arlington and it’s worth it!

The stylists at Kimberly Irene Salon are fabulous! The salon is impeccably clean, well lighted, comfortable - the hair washing set up is the best I’ve ever experienced - and they are graciously welcoming. Best of all, the haircuts and styling are the best I’ve experienced in 40 years of searching, and the color services are exceptional! Whether it’s grey transition or fantasy color - they’re amazing! Also, fabulous with curly hair…. The only place I’ll let touch my daughter’s head or my own! Love, love, love my stylist, Kimberly!

They have moved to a new location in Kirkland. Much nicer for me to get too!! I see Siobhan and have for years. I can’t say enough good things, there are too many. She is a beautiful human and. Will do everything she can to make you happy. I get a Pixie cut and most people think those are easy, but they aren’t. So if you’re looking for some great this salon is it. Plus they are very friendly and love to laugh

Asked the owner and gave specific instructions on what I wanted my haircut to be, but she took upon herself to go crazy with hair clipper. Don’t like or know how use scissors, cut my hair shorter, longer ends shorter all uneven Just poor quality and lack of respect for customer’s want

I attended Kim's Day Camp Training and it was FABULOUS! I learned so much from the other attendees, the content Kim shared was a great refresher + informative, and very detailed. The day was filled with hands on fun, discussion, learning, food, drinks, and AMAZING entrepreneurs! Thank you for the uplifting and inspiring event. I'm already SUPER excited for next year!!
