Kay was So patient and understanding with my 1 year old. It was his second hair cut and was not having it but she really took her time and was kind. Will be goimg back

I love this place and I have been coming here since my son was 1yr old however today I didn’t get a great experience. The lady who cut my son’s hair did the opposite of what I told her to do with his hair. I didn’t appreciate that at all. She had her opinion, I had mine and she did hers anyway. Completely ignored my request and cut it super short. I’m soooo angry and every time I see his haircut I get more irritated. Yes I know, his hair will grow back but let me be wrong, don’t make that decision for me and do the style I requested NOT the one you think is best. I might have to find a new place for his hair cuts if my requests are not met and if they make decisions for me.

Update: We were in San Jose for a wedding and we visited Kinder Cut again, and it didn’t disappoint! This was our second time here, and the staff was just as friendly and patient as before. They’ve even added more play areas, which kept our child entertained while we waited. Anytime we’re in San Jose, we always make a stop here—it’s a welcoming, kid-friendly place. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Took my 5 year old here for the first time and we’ll definitely be back! The stylist, Kay, was friendly and very precise with the haircut and the place had plenty of sensory toys and puzzles to keep my 3 year old occupied while we waited.

July update: We had a funeral to attend and the kids needed a refresh. The team makes my kids feel safe and welcome every time. This time we sprung for tinsel for the girls hair. Always fun, quick and lovely. We have been here with our 3 kids (3, 4 and 7) about 4-5 times now. We LOVE it!! From the bobs, to the fades to bang trims. Kinder Cuts has always listened to me and my kids 15 different opinions that change daily. They are a wonderful, sweet and patient team. We have been there with and without appointments. Cuts are always cute- the latest appoint my daughter got a beautiful french braid!!

Extremely friendly and helpful. My 2 year old son does not usually enjoy haircuts but Kay made it very easy and comfortable for him. Would highly recommend and we will be coming back!

Clean with many entertaining items for kids. Cute decor. Not as crowded as other places in the area (probably because of the price) Cons: higher price than other places in the area, they could not manage the time with the customer before us and one of my kids had to cancel the appointment as we couldn’t stay linger than expected

Love this place. They have cool cars for the children to sit in to make them more comfortable and they are also very patient with scared, angry, or shy children. Definitely recommend taking your child here for their haircuts.

My daughter just had her 2nd haircut at Kinder Cuts &, this time, the stylist went above & beyond by topping it off with her very 1st updo, which looks beyond adorable! Between the $25 price, huge selection of fun race car salon chairs, incredibly kind stylists & generous lollipop handout, we’ll never go anywhere else! Thank you KC for another awesome kids’ salon experience! 💇‍♀️💓🍭

Newly renovated, very clean and well organized. New salon chairs/cars for the kids, TV's and toys for kids. The service hasn't changed, still great!

Trinity was AMAZING to say the least. My nephew came in for his first haircut at almost 3 years of age and she made him and me feel so comfortable! My family and I have been postponing his first haircut due to the fact that he doesn’t let anyone touch his hair/head and omg, she was so gentle, caring and kind with us. Definitely recommend! 10/10!!! Our experience was amazing and I spoke to a few parents while waiting, the feeling is mutual, they all love this place for their kiddos!

Excellent experience first time there. Got an amazing cut or a reasonable price for my grandson. I didn’t have to pay those barber prices and got a better cut for a reasonable price. Excellent experience and I will bring my services there every two weeks and spread the word.

Mimi is wonderful. My 4 year old daughter is scared of haircuts but had a lovely time as was treated with care and patience! Also she got cute braids done which was a bonus! We will definitely be back again!

Took my son for a haircut and he ended up with scrapes on the side of his face from the clipper. He wasn’t moving around or anything and the folks there kept trying to minimise it saying it was just small scrape and eventually apologised. I would’ve appreciated a straightforward apology from the beginning. They did put some cream on it and offer to waive the fee but I chose not to take them up on that offer.
