I absolutely love coming to Kindred Salon to see Kelly! I met Kelly while searching for hair stylists for my wedding 3 years ago. Her silly personality and loving nature made me feel welcome right away. No matter how much time has passed between my appointments, (more time than there should be…my fault), Kelly greets me with love and laughter as well as her extensive knowledge base. I am biracial, and have been blessed with thick, textured hair. Kelly has helped me understand how to care for and maintain my hair when it is in its curly state as well as providing me with products to help me achieve more sleek styles when I want them. I am so grateful for Kelly and hope that her books always remain full of new clients who will love her as much as I do!

I have been going to Kaylee for close to 10 years now for my hair cut or 'Air Cut' as I call it because I don't trust just anyone to 'cut' my hair which is 28 inches long now so she knows just how to shape it and not cut it short. She offers great suggestions and I have been most happy with her services as she is quite the professional and she loves loves loves what she does :) I highly recommend Kaylee!

Kelly of Inner Glow (located inside Kindred Salon) was awesome! I have curly hair that can be challenging to care for and style. Kelly was patient and thorough in explaining her haircut approach (a dry cut vs. a wet cut!) and styling techniques. She thoughtfully answered all of my questions about products and styling and was just a pleasure to talk to during my salon visit. Thank you for the great service and recommendations!

She's always so amazing and wonderful! Both my children have been curly hair and I am very picky about their hair and she always makes them look fantastic. Very cautious about what I want for them and what they like. Highly recommend!

Everyone knows how hard it is to find a salon and stylist that they love. After my original stylist moved out of state, I was referred to Kaylee and haven’t looked back since! Something I love most about my appointments is that they feel collaborative and effortless. Kaylee really takes the time to hear me, asks questions to understand my hair, then walks me through her thoughts and makes suggestions. I never feel like I’m being pushed into a style I don’t want and have never left feeling like I didn’t look like myself. I also never feel like I’m asking dumb questions or causing a problem by wanting to switch up my typical appointment! As an added bonus, the salon is such a warm and welcoming space, the vibes are always on point. I love that I can actually work during my appointment or just chat! All of that said I would HIGHLY recommend checking out Kindred, you won’t regret it!!

I have been seeing Kaylee for almost 10 years now! She always knows just what I want, and can give recommendations if I need some ideas, or want to try something new. I always leave extremely happy with my hair. She is the best at cuts and color, and her blowouts are always fabulous. I always receive so many compliments on my hair. I'm so grateful to have her! 10 stars!!

Amazing salon! Trendy interior with a cozy relaxing environment. I searched for years to find someone who could cut my long thick wavy hair and also do an awesome highlight and always fell short until I found Kaylee ! She can do it all ! Not only is Kaylee awesome she does it all in a beautifully curated salon. You won’t be disappointed coming here !

I’ve been going to Kindred for over a year and Kaylee cuts my hair. Every visit is such a pleasure. The salon has a great atmosphere and everyone I have encountered (stylists and clients) are a joy. The salon has such a sense of community and every haircut feels like catching up with a friend. I feel Kaylee nails my haircut every time. She takes the time to understand what I want. I ALWAYS get compliments on my hair after a haircut.

Kelly has been my hairstylist for 4 years now and she never disappoints. She is professional AND fun! I used to hate getting my hair done and it was always finding a stylist to stick with but she will be cutting my hair for as long as I am here!

I always see Lauren here!! She’s a star! It’s always hard to find someone who is confident is doing reds & coppers! She nails it every time. Haircuts too! So kind, welcoming, and detailed. It’s always nice to be remembered by your stylist no matter how long of a break you may take getting your hair done. Vibes are so chill in the salon and the chairs are suuuuper comfy. 🫶🏻 Kindered is also located in a super cute part of town. It’s got great light and history near by. I've been going here for about 2 years and this is by far my favorite experience. I get my hair done about twice a year and they know exactly how to care for my hair for long stretches between cuts and lived in highlights. It's right next to the best bakery in town and perfectly located in the heart of Springfield. 100% recommend for anyone in the Urban Core or just outside! I travel to come by taken care of by Kaylee who saved my hair from a bad color years ago!

The cutest salon with the best hairdressers and products! Kaylee is always knowledgeable on the latest trends with priority on keeping my hair healthy. Kaylee never pushes products or extras, but the salon does offer a great variety of products and the absolute cutest accessories.

Kaylee at Kindred is the best! She’s helped me go from brunette, to pink, to bronde and back to brunette. The shampoo stations are so comfortable you could take a nap. Definitely recommend.

Lauren saved my botched dye job (that was done by another professional!!). She then helped me find a low maintenance plan to blend my gray and keep me feeling good. She is a true artist and does amazing work, while keeping the best interest of the client in mind. I am grateful to have found her.
