50% of water jets we're off, entrance price is $50 at the door, all services prices icreased about 25%, free pass tickets complementary with highest price services used to be 1 mont to the date return, now is 1 or 2 days less than the visit date. Food still good! Masseurs still the same and they do awsome body scrubs! (My favorite is Ahn on the women's side)

I visited around 10 o'clock on a Sunday morning. There were not a lot of people at the spa at that time which was nice but I would have liked to have more people around. If you know the drill you go in, pay the entrance fee, then get a bracelet and a costume (remember to remove your shoes!). I started in the men's wet area in the herb tub which was extremely relaxing after I had spent the previous 6 hours traveling. I tried the other tubs and the dry sauna which was very, very hot followed by the body scrub. The gentleman who did my scrub was very nice and on a mission from the gods! He must have taken off two or three layers of skin! I liked it and also wanted to cry a little bit. Afterwards I grabbed some good before heading back into the wet area for a bit. By this time more people arrived and it was a good crowd. For comparison I've only ever been to a Korean Spa in Northern Virginia besides this one. The biggest noticeable difference here is that there are fewer pools/jets. From what I understand some of the other bade pools are in a co-ed area where a swimming costume is required and that's not my thing so I didn't go there.

So nice and relaxing, I can't wait to go back! The people are constantly cleaning and sanitizing and you get so many great amenities. Highly recommend if you need a day to de stress and unwind.

Some jets still don't work. But it's a very relaxing place to enjoy the day.

Small & not very relaxing. It was one of the worst spa experiences I’ve ever had.

The spa offers good services, and I’ve had enjoyable experiences overall. However, the management can be quite rude, which impacts the overall experience. On multiple visits, I’ve noticed the manager creating unnecessary issues, making it less pleasant. For instance, I called ahead to ask if we could bring a cake for my birthday celebration. Over the phone, I was told that if we rented a karaoke room, we could bring the cake, which we were willing to do. However, upon arrival, the manager refused to honor that agreement, claiming it wasn’t allowed. This resulted in us staying outside to blow out my birthday candles instead. The manager also made a comment that if I had asked him ‘nicely,’ he might have made an exception, which felt unprofessional and inconsistent with what was communicated earlier. While the spa itself is nice, the discrepancies between the reception and management, as well as the unprofessional attitude, made the experience disappointing. I hope they address these issues to improve the customer experience.

We recently visited King Spa with high hopes, having previously enjoyed Spa Castle in Carrollton and expecting a comparable experience given the similar Google ratings. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Our experience fell far short of expectations. First, the entry fee is $50 per person, which is standard for spas like this, so we went in with an open mind, ready to enjoy our day. However, the layout and amenities were disappointing. The saunas were not only small, but it was also difficult to find a place to sit inside most of them due to the limited space. Everything in the spa was so close together that noise carried throughout the facility. Instead of a relaxing environment, there was constant noise pollution, which made it hard to fully unwind. The food was a bright spot. It was tasty and enjoyable but unfortunately, it was the only highlight of our visit. We had also planned to treat ourselves to facials, but this turned out to be the most disappointing part of the day. The front desk staff informed us that only the “Glow Facial” was available, so we reluctantly agreed. For $70 per person, we expected at least a basic but professional treatment. Instead, one person worked on both of us simultaneously for just 30 minutes, applying moisturizer and a basic $1 sheet mask. It felt rushed, unprofessional, and frankly, like a scam. To top it off, we were pressured to tip at the end, despite feeling like the service was subpar. The entire facility seems to have seen better days. It feels run-down, with areas like the water park completely shut down. At one point, I’m sure it was probably a great place, but it doesn’t seem to have been maintained over time. While we wanted to give King Spa a fair shot, the noise, lack of quality in the services, and overall atmosphere were disappointing enough that we won’t be returning. If you’re considering visiting, I’d recommend exploring other options first.

We were told by the speaker announcement to control my son who was crying right before we check out. I understand they want peace and quiet but we were about to check out so they should not announce out loud to control my son. I guess they did not see when my son was happy and quiet throughout the day. Even I was surprised how my 23 months can stay not making loud noise throughout the day. Also if they see we were checking out why bother announcing like that. I cannot believe how this place is so different than before. I went there at least three - four times a year but with my pregnancy and then with my new born I was not able to back until January 2025. I was so excited to take my 23 months old to experience spa and sauna. Sadly they permanently close kid water park and lazy river. I was kind of disappointed that we have to be quiet in everywhere in sauna. Definitely not kids and family friendly like they used to.

really nice place, could be cleaner in the pools and better sanitization methods. women's bathroom also needs to be cleaned more often to be worth the $50 admission price.

Definitely an interesting experience which I enjoyed, but unfortunately I did not get to experience everything King Spa had to offer. When I went in December on a Monday, the outdoor portion of the water park was closed and both the regular bar and swim up bar were closed. However, I did enjoy the swimming pool jets. It was a fun first time experience but I realized I am not a big fan of saunas in general. I think I would have enjoyed it more if everything at the water park was available and if I went in a larger group.

I enjoy King spa so much. It gives me sense of luxury self care we all needed time to time. The body scrub is my favorite. I always feel recharged after visiting here. Not to mention the quality time I enjoy with my loved ones especially my granddaughter.

Nice spa. Quite large with separate men's and women's wet areas and then the coed areas with different sauna rooms, a theater, massage and facial facilities, restaurant and the water park section is for everyone to enjoy featuring a bar and lounge as well

Water park is only 3 pools with 2 hot tubs. Everything is pretty much closed after 9 pm. Karaoke room needs updating and large variety in music. Food is very good.

I went to this place when it opened years ago and again over the holidays. Man has it gone downhill. The way you can tell if a company is going to go out of business is if they are frustrated with their customers. You can tell they’re frustrated with their customers at KING’s spa because there are notices everywhere. Printed from their office printer. Do not sit here. Make sure you do this. Don’t do this. Every time I see that happening he closes soon after. Have you ever seen a high-end hotel put up paper signs that say don’t lean against the ice cream freezer

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and have never had a bad experience until today. We went into every room that we usually go in and none of them were hot besides the hottest room they have which still wasn’t as hot as normal. We spoke to a “manager” who didn’t want to understand and listen to us when we were explaining the issue because “nobody else had complained” which wasn’t true. We know of at least two other people who complained to the same guy in which he argued with them as well. The way the guy spoke to us and wouldn’t leave us alone even after we told him it’s fine and to leave us be was insanely horrible customer service. Unfortunately we probably won’t be coming back and will start going to world springs instead.

I recently visited the King Spa. I was a touch, unsure about the visit due to the mixed reviews. In short, I am glad that I did not listen to the negative reviews. I had a very enjoyable and therapeutic visit, I will be returning myself and would recommend this place to my friend and family. Detailed review: To get the true benefit of the spa. You simply need to understand what the location is. This is not your traditional American hot box wooden sauna. This is a unique, authentic Korean-style spa experience that blends relaxation, wellness, and cultural immersion. With the variety of experiences it offers. You can alternate between hot saunas and the ice room, soak in the hot tubs, or take a break in the theater room for a unique spa experience. Upon arrival, you will pay the entrance fee. At that time, you will be asked to takeoff your shoes and you will be given a wristband. This wristband will be utilized to open your locker and pay for any additional services, including food. Once you are in the spa. You will be directed to a counter where they will give you a pair of oversized, cotton shorts, and T-shirt (your uniform). From there, you are directed to the locker room to dress into the “uniform”. You will be required to wear the uniform in all of the coed therapeutic sauna areas. Each of the therapeutic rooms has a unique theme and temperature. My favorite was the extremely hot charcoal and clay saunas. The rooms are great for muscle relaxation and health benefits, promoting detoxification, improved circulation, and stress relief. In addition to the sauna, there is a coed therapeutic pool with traditional hot tubs. The therapeutic pool includes several stations with different high-pressure water jets. You will need to bring your own swimming suit to enter into this area. There are a limited selection of expensive swimming suits for purchase if you failed to bring your own. The spa area is gender, specific. To enter into the therapeutic spa pools, you are required to be fully nude. This can be a little bit nerve-racking, but as soon as you just go with the flow, the hot water spa, cold plunge, herbal therapy spa, and steam room eases all of that initial tension away. The facility has several areas for lounging, including a theater, lounging room in between your treatment therapy session sessions. They have massages, scrubs and other therapeutic services for additional purchases once you arrived inside. The restaurant within the facility served surprisingly high-quality and very good traditional Korean food. I would highly recommend the mango shaved ice after one of the sauna treatments. The facility is showing some signs of age, but I did not feel like anything was gross or unclean.

I’ve been going here for years but it has changed! Service was good! Sauna rooms good! Locker rooms good! But the pool area is disgustingly dirty! The tile along the inside of the pool is dirty there’s a dark brown ring around the pool as if it’s a bath tube! More than have of the jets are non working! My husband and are noticed there’s no bar! The food area close early! Needles to say my husband and I decided we will not be returning this establishment should simply close the entire water area drain the pool clean and fix the problems before reopening! It’s a disappointment to go and not enjoy all that they have to offer!

This was a waste of money. They need to stop advertising as a Waterpark. In the alleged water area, only about 4 jets worked. I was truly disappointed in King Spa. For the cost to enter, this was extremely unacceptable. They must do better.

We absolutely love King Spa! You Can spend all day here and relax. They have so many hot sauna rooms, an ice room, lounge area, food court, and herbal soaking tubs. Food is reasonably priced and yummy. It will melt your stress away. You will leave feeling refreshed. It's like taking a little vacation without leaving DFW. They offer a truly unique experience. Highly recommend!

Pros: Actual ice in the cold room. Temperature gauges in the wet bath. Lots of seating. The wood room is unique and exceptionally soothing. Cons: Many broken or closed components. Other patrons intermittently respect the rules.

I still love King Spa. It's a really magic vibe. You can spend a whole day here doing whatever you want. I really like the herbal pool in the locker room area + wet sauna. You'll feel self conscious going in naked but it's easy to see that it's just a naturalistic setting with a clean, light, spacious aesthetic. The sound of the jets and the showers is nice, and it mixes into the voices of people talking. Easy to zone out, close your eyes if it helps. I spend less and less time at the pool area every visit; it's very shallow, not much room for swimming. But the jets on the equipment are very powerful! The force that the water hits you with makes your skin tingle. It's a mix of a good feeling with a painful one. I still like to do it, but not for too long. Usually it's kinda random which jets are working and which aren't. Try different areas of the pool. The hot tub is great! Room for maybe four people max, and there are only two so it can be a wait to get in them. There's also a swim up bar. The cocktails are a little pricey but they're tasty, sweet, fruity ones. Give it a try. The dry saunas have different elements, aesthetics, and features. The water features can have problems, but I still think the saunas remain really impressive. The Fire Sudatorium is a nigh spiritual experience. It's always my last step in the sauna circuit. Food can be hit or miss, and it's expensive. But I'm hooked on the cold noodles, which have a super spicy sauce and delicious crisp vegetables, and come in a massive portion. Delicious and refreshing after sweating. The couches and chairs around are really comfy too. Take a nap, read a book, scroll, whatever. Staff is curt but in my experience not rude. King Spa is still my special occasion getaway. I'm really grateful to have it around!

That was an amazing experience! The food was delicious, there was a wide variety of saunas, and the $10 massage chairs were fantastic! I didn’t have the courage to try the “naked zone”, but my boys did and said it was great—it even had an herbal pool, steam sauna, and both hot and cold pools.
