I am very pleased with my experience at Kirra’s braids. They were very patient and their work was phenomenal. I’m 10 weeks postpartum and was looking for a mommy lift me up. They did just that, they were kind and I simply love my hair. I’ve gotten so many compliments. Tinue and Destiny were my stylist, I asked them to tuck the hair to show lots of color and they did just that

Completely satisfied 😌 ☺️. Definitely will be returning. I have bad breakage so my hair is uneven everywhere and been told for years I can't get knotless when I can do it myself. Oh that ended today because I got short knotless boho today by Kirra's Braids.

I got my hair done with Geraldine today and she did an amazing job. She made sure my crochet braids were secured and the hair was distributed carefully to optimatize my style preference. I love her attention to detail and she was very sweet. Plus the service was super affordable. I will be coming back!

Called the salon because an unrelated braider did not show for our appointment. So I was pretty desperate as my birthday was in a week, mothers day the week after, and vacation a week after that. I believe I spoke with the salon owner, who was very kind and clearly has an excellent reputation. She set me up with someone in her salon.I spoke with that stylist and got an 8am appointment on my birthday. At 11pm the night before that person cancelled/tried to reschedule because she would be too tired at 8 am. So birthday plans were ruined. Called the salon back on my Bday and she set me up with a new stylist, who was very sweet, and assured me she would take care of me and i would have no issues or cancellations. We got a 9am appointment scheduled for two days later....Monday. So i took off work because I have no other options. I sent the deposit, photos of my hair and hair I purchased. Got calendar invite and a reminder email the day before. Then 2.5 hours before my appointment time she says she has to reschedule due to scheduled maintenance at the shop that she forgot about. I'm sure the ladies at the salon do great work. The reviews and photos are amazing, but it's unbelievably disappointing that this happened both times I've set aside time for a service. Especially considering all the money I would be charged if I were late, or canceled my appointment. I understand why they do it. But it is unfortunate the same respect and consideration is not given when it comes to my time and money. Disappointed 😞

Go check them out!!! Being new to the area and new to the city wanted some braids and when I tell u Janay hook a sister up. From the time I walk in the vibe was good very nice group of women and nice and clean salon. Kirra the owner was so sweet and nice they make u feel welcome. I’m so in love with my hair due to I’m not use to wearing braids Janay got me feeling myself and I have already got plenty compliments the price was reasonable and I will most definitely be back I found my braider.

I booked with Kirra twice but each time was handed of to one of her students. The first one was okay but I wanted a better quality as shown by Kirra. The second time I booked with Kirra but was handed off to another one of her students, the braids were horrible, much too heavy and nothing like the picture. Tha braids started falling out from the roots, I have bald spots. I reported this to Kirra but she doesn't respond. Worst braiding experience I have ever received!

I got my hair braided by Nita and she was wonderful!!! Very helpful and knowledgeable about caring for the health of my hair she advised me on styles that would further damage my already thinner edges and I love that her technique laid my baby hairs down for over a week! That has never happened before by anyone I’ve ever been braided by in different states. I’m new to the area and was nervous finding a new braided but I did great research and landed here! I had to drive a little bit since I live in Wylie but it was worth it I’m very picky about who does my hair! And I had a great experience. Nita was very sweet and gentle 🥰👌🏽

I had an amazing experience. I wasn’t sure of my style but she was patient and made me feel so welcomed. She gives you guidance and what hair to buy depending on your braid choice. I got 12 stitched braids and my hair looks amazing!!

I love my braids !!! From start to finish was a great experience.I did a phone consult with Janay . I gave her specific details of how I wanted my hair from photos to coming up with a style would be great for my hair due to me having problemed spots where hair was thining. JANAY was friendly and professional, alongside Kirra also checking in throughout the process from payment to follow-up on my consultation. My hair is beautiful 😍 and I had a great experience. I definitely recommend friends and family to Kirra's braids. JANAY was a gem . I'm sure the rest of the syliist are amazing as well .

Kirra braided my hair and I love that she was gentle on my fine textured hair. Kirra is very professional and personable. She made me feel welcomed from the time I arrived at the shop until the time I left. I moved to Texas 4 years and have been flying home to have my hair braided, but I hit the jackpot at Kirra's Braids. I found my new braiding shop. I LOVE LOVE MY HAIR KIRRA. DO NOT USE KAY (KENESHA). She is very unprofessional and was upset that I asked questions about the style she was doing. She told me that she can do braids with a frontal for me but had never done it before. The appointment escalated to the point where I thought she was physically trying to fight me. She told me she can't do small braids because her son is alone at home. She should have managed her time as I uploaded a picture of the style I wanted when I made the appointment as she requires it so she knew in advance the style I wanted. She had me pay $125 ($100 for lace and $25 for deposit) and ended up not doing my hair because she realized that she could not do it. She kept the lace and my money (I've filed a police report for theft of product and service). She is the most unprofessional, lazy, trashy stylist I have ever encountered!! DO NOT BOOK WITH HER!!!

First off my hair wasn't drenched in oil, I didn't even use any type of oil in my hair. We spoke on the phone several times before and you voice stated this knowing that it was my first time and I found you on google not your booking site. But I get it you have a written policy on your site and I completely understand. You can 20 min late to my appointment then had me go buy different hair just to tell me you couldn't do it. You kept telling me my hair wasn't going to look good so why would I want you to do it if you're speaking negatively. Then you wouldn't give me my deposit back for an appointment YOU cancelled and basically threatened to charge my card for a style you didn't want to do. You came off very rude to me as soon as I walked in the door so don't be upset I left an honest review that's all. Have a great day !
