Ms Josephine completed pixie braids in my hair from 8am-3pm nonstop. She was very professional, very nice, very fast, doesn’t braid tight but the braids are secure, and I felt welcomed into her shop.Also she greased my scalp before braiding my hair and use minimal gel which made my scalp feel good and there was no build up of product. I enjoyed my time watching Netflix with her while she braided my hair. I liked the outcome of my hair, but one improvement I would suggest would be to tuck the natural hair which she did fix for me within a timely manner,I’ll definitely be back.

These ladies were very sweet & welcoming. They made you feel at home laughing & joking. Josephine did a great job on my braids. Very gentle & caring when it comes to your comfortability. Definitely recommend going there

This salon is very professional and nice. You don't have to wait all day in the salon to get your hair done, you're in and out at good time. Also there prices are great!!! My hair has grown so much since I've been going. So come and check them out you won't regret it.

Been going to Kitoko Hair Braiding for 4 years. They do a amazing job with my locs and the staff there are very professional and kind. It's very affordable too. Highly recommend going here for your hair to get done for sure!

I Love My Braids! They have a wonderful braising technique that is not rough on your scalp. Very gentle. The customer service is excellent. The service is excellent and it’s a very warm and welcoming place. Thank you so much for my braided style!!!

I arrived for my appointment and was greeted with a warm welcome. I was got Senegalese twist. Louisa braided my hair and was very knowledgeable and explained every step of the process. Mrs. Josephine came in later and helped Louisa finish my twist. The outcome was truly a excellent job. If you want your Do done right. Please give them a call. I will be going back.

These ladies are the sweetest. After getting stood up this morning for another appointment, I decided to call them to see if they could do my daughter box braids the same day. To my surprise, they responded yes and I am so glad they did. My daughter is very happy with her braids. It had to be fate that sent me here and I will be back!

Worst experience ever! First, and foremost they only take cash app or PayPal at a shop which is a freaking red flag. No legit business phone number. My appointment was at 8am, and she already had another appointment when I showed up exactly 15 minutes early. She was literally starting their hair, and I wasn’t too sure who’s hair she would be doing. Secondly the bathroom was disgusting. Third red flag she still haven’t started my hair, and a 9 o’clock appointment shows up.-which by the way I left the shop at 8pm because Josephine was only person doing the hair. She used crazy glue in my hair for box braids when they weren’t tight enough. After I cash app she starred through my soul. She didn’t know how to say goodbye nor good morning. Rude old lady. Talked in my ears on the phone the whole time. It was beyond ghetto experience. They better not say this is a fake review because I have the text messages screenshot/cash app transaction. To top it off my head was throbbing for two days. The pain was so bad, middle of the night I had to remove them. Also, before I left I was shivering from agony, and her response u don’t like it, don’t you. Which I vocalized it was painful, and in my crown mid section hurts more than usual braids. Also I asked for Knotless braids and said my hair type can’t. When I have been doing it for years. Waste of 245$ In the dumpster.

I love going to get my hair braided by this mom and daughter duo. The atmosphere is like family. They are both very quick and take extra care to not damage your hair. I recommend them all the time. Not one unsatisfied recommendation.

I took my grandson to see if they could repair his hair. He had missing braids and his hair was in horrible condition. He really looked a mess. Ms. Josephine worked a miracle. I am not exaggerating,, I don’t know how she was able to perform this miracle but I watched the whole time. I can’t express enough love I have for Ms. Josephine. That woman has magic in her hands and she knows her stuff. This was performed a couple of days before Christmas and I waited to see how it was going to look and hold up. You know when you first get hair done it looks amazing and after a few days not so much. That’s not the case here. It still looks amazing. I can’t show you because he doesn’t want to be posted and that’s his right because he is an adult. But he has regained his self confidence and it is just amazing to see him getting back to his old self. This establishment lived up to their reputation. THANK YOU MS. JOSEPHINE AND BLESS YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR KNOWLEDGE IN YOUR SOUL. The salon is very clean and I actually saw them sanitizing before and after clients. This was my first time coming to Kitoko and I loved this shop! A very friendly atmosphere. The place is very clean. The prices are reasonable, The best part is the cornrows were beautiful! I will definitely be coming back for braids again!
