サンフランシスコに来て数年経ちますが、知ってからずっとお世話になっています。あんまりタウン誌などに宣伝がなかったので、google等で美容院を探してたら偶然見つけました。Marieさんに切っていただいていますが、Renaさんもとっても上手な方です。日本のような美容院を探してる方は、ここ以上にいい美容院はBay Areaにないと思います。

Rena's is skillful in her cutting, I love how she does layer and bang. She is also super up to date with her professional knowledge, she attends seminar yearly.

This review is long overdue! I've been going to Kitone for haircuts for a few years now. They always do such a thorough and detailed job with my hair! Normally, I get a very short bob when I visit. Somehow, my hair still looks great almost a year later after it grows out! The only downside is they are always full, so I've struggled to get an appointment for the last half a year. Will visit again if I can!

This place is such a gem! I came here for hair coloring and haircut and the whole experience was so enjoyable. Marie was amazing - attentive, kind and so talented! It was super easy to book an appointment online - they are booked well in advance so I left a comment in my reservation to see if they are able to have me in earlier and Marie reach out to get me in the next day because of a cancellation! The studio itself was very comfortable, clean and modern. The best part is that the price is so reasonable for the level of quality and service. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this salon!!

Got my hair cut and dyed with Rena! She was very informative and helpful with her suggestions on how to achieve certain styles for my hair texture (which is technically thick asian hair, but the strands itself are fine). She was able to dye my hair with minimum damage and was very conscious about if I wanted to have constant upkeep/low maintenance hair. We kept my hair dark so that it would lighten up over time. Attaching the indoor lighting vs outdoor lighting to show what a difference lighting can make! The salon itself is decorated very modernly and is very clean 🙂 It’s been hard to find someone who truly cares about your haircut and you’re not just another appointment to snip-snap hair off of. I highly recommend leaving your tresses in Rena’s hands!

I got a basic haircut but I was very happy with it. I didn’t even need to show Hiro any pictures. She knew what I wanted when I described it. It’s also awesome that they do digital perms. I’ll be going to them when I need to re-perm.

I just got my hair done by Hiro, whom was recommended to me by a friend - I should get her a pint as I've now found my hair guru in the city! Hiro was extremely attentive to my hair history and it didn't take long for her to just "get" my hair. The entire experience was just fantastic, from getting my hair washed and massaged, to getting it cut and permed by her fine craftsmanship. At one point, I actually fell asleep because it was so relaxing and soothing. So glad that I have found her and looking forward to going back in the near future!

When I heard that Hiro was opening her own salon, I immediately jumped at booking an appointment. I’d been getting my hair cut by her for several years, and she always impressed me with her attention to detail, friendly personality, and skillful styling of my Asian hair. I’m not super picky with my style, but I’ve found that there are very few stylists outside of Asia that I can trust to cut and texture my hair in a way I’ve found satisfying. Hiro has consistently delivered great results, and my fiancé agrees. It’s a bit out of my way to get to her new salon, as I live in Oakland, but it’s well worth it to get a consistent and reliably well cut look from Hiro every month. Thanks so much, Kitone!
