Heather is THE BEST. She is truly a genius and a scientist when it comes to hair — she did an amazing color correction for me and has absolutely nailed the shade of blonde that I was looking for. And on top of her amazing skills, she’s also the sweetest and most fun person to chat with while she’s doing my hair!

I absolutely love this place. Super inviting, super nice vibe, and overall great place to get whatever cut you need from your stylist. I will continue to keep going back every time I need a cut. My hair looks great, and every step a long the way was explained. It's always nerve-racking for me to have someone new cut my hair, but I'm excited for next time.

I cannot say enough good things about heather!! i’m so lucky to have found her. I went from a very dull bland color, to amazing pretty copper hair! she is so so knowledgeable and takes the time to really educate you. I feel so welcomed and just love spending time in the salon. It’s so cute and her and sarah make you feel at home :)

I needed a corrective color and it was a major undertaking. I did a phone consult with Heather and she completely indulged my sending her an entire concept album of inspo but she saw my vision. Heather took the challenge and I was amazed by the improvement. I mean we seriously did like 4 processes that day. My color finally has the right tone and color placement. The cut finally flatters my face and has some movement. She also gave me the maintenance plan and made sure it was a level of commitment I was on board with. I love the atmosphere. It really is like hanging out in your living room with friends if your living room had a few styling stations and shampoo bowls. I left with my Brazilian blowout booked with Sarah and am looking forward to seeing everyone again!

I've come to Knstruct for my last two haircuts & each time, I've gotten my desired haircut to the T. Heather is amazing, she is very detail oriented & meticulous. She allows you to relax & feel at home. The salon is very clean & cozy. Also, if you're a lover of dogs, they have the cutest pups in the salon who are so sweet. I could not rave about Knstruct enough. I've found the salon & hairstylist that I didn't know I needed & will be coming back time & time again.

Amazing service! First of all I was able to get in for a haircut with very short notice! (Less than 24hours!) I really appreciate how Hannah worked me into her schedule. She cut my hair & gave me perfect layers & face framing. The entire team made we feel welcome - including the pups! Hannah also gave me great home care advice & how to style. I’m looking forward to booking my next appointment.

Been coming here for sometime and absolutely love it! Like most people, I’m really picky about my hair, but they worked with my needs/wants and even gave awesome styling recommendations. I genuinely get a lot of compliments on my hair because of Sarah and Heather. Another plus, you’ll be greeted by dogs most of the time!

Been seeing Heather for a few years now and she always does an amazing job! The best at the perfect blonde balayage. She always kills it from long beachy cuts to chopping it all of sassy shoulder length cuts. Her and Sara are so kind and talented 10/10 recommend Knstruct!

I had such an amazing experience at this salon. I came in with brassy blonde wanting to go darker. Heather was able to do exactly what I asked for. My hair is now darker, shinier, has dimension, and healthier than ever! Highly recommend. Also- the chairs you get your hair washed in are super comfy.

I have been going to Knstruct for almost 10 years! Heather and Sarah are the only ladies I trust with my hair! They are experts on color/highlights/balayage. They are amazing with extensions, updos, and haircuts. You truly get treated like VIP and will quickly become part of the knstruct family. They offer beer on tap and even have a cute coffee shop next door. They also have the cutest salon pups hanging around to keep you company! They only use top of the line products, leaving your hair healthy and shiny every time. I love these ladies and cannot recommend this salon enough!

I love this salon!!! Heather and Sarah are both very talented hairstylists and color specialists. I have fine but curly hair with a lot of gray, but you’d never know it because Heather keeps me vibrantly red and sleekly styled. We switch up the color from time to time and Heather always figures out what will look best, no matter how wild or demure I want to go. And my hair stays in great condition too! Sarah has given me Brazilian blowouts that tame my frizz for months. Both Heather and Sarah are friendly and knowledgeable. The salon is super cute. Sometimes adorable dogs are there, too. There’s a coffee shop next door. And if you don’t take advantage of wine or beer during your appointment (or even if you do) you can walk across the street to Cowboy Star for fabulous cocktails. I’m a Knstruct client for life!

I loved this place!!!! Sara gave me a cut and color which left my hair so healthy and gorgeous looking. Out the two times I have visited the salon, I would say the customer service and both ladies are consistently great in what they do :) also love their doggos, the upscale decor, and the beer on tap (and lowkey love sitting under rosie lol)

I 💜 KNSTRUCT! I have long, dirty blonde hair that I highlight brighter blonde. I had a hard time finding a colorist that I was happy with until I found Heather. I’ve been coming to Heather now for the last 9 years and couldn’t be happier! She’s incredibly skilled and knowledgeable - she takes the time to educate me on how to take better care of my hair and explains why I should do something (versus just telling me I need to do it). KNSTRUCT is a super cute, Pinterest-worthy boutique salon. My hair typically takes 2-3 hours to highlight (I have a lot of hair!) and I’m happy to spend that time at KNSTRUCT, hanging out, and walking out with amazing hair. 😊

We got our hair done to cosplay vikings and they were so professional, fast, kind and even generous by giving us some extra hoops in case they’d fall out and get lost. Absolutely would recommend! Plus they had all 3 of their cute dogs there!!!

What a great place! The staff is welcoming and very helpful. I came in for a trim, but got so much more. Advice, products, and a glass of wine to boot! Salon is very tastefully designed, staff is so outgoing and seems more like a family than co-workers. Not to mention the Afghan Hounds for a greet staff. Friendly and loving dogs, cool surroundings, and now good friends. All I was looking for was a trim! Lucky me! HIGHLY recommended for both guys and girls. Give them a try

What can I say, Knstruct Salon has saved my hair. Being a bottle blonde isn’t an easy thing to achieve monthly. It requires true experts to get what you are looking for, while also keeping the integrity of your hair. I know as much as I would love to be platinum forever, it’s just not possible unless I want to lose all my hair. Heather and Sarah have brought me back to life. They are experts and I am ALWAYS in LOVE with my look. So happy I found them! I have been going to them for almost a year now. I see them every 5 weeks for THE WORKS! My first visit was 6 hours of color correction and from there, 22 inches of pure blonde, shiny, gorgeous BLISS. Thank you so much ladies! Run! Don’t walk. Go to Knstruct!

When we decided to move from the Bay Area, leaving my hairdresser of 10+ yrs was so very difficult, especially given how high maintenance my hair is between Brazilian blowouts and color touch ups! After using Sarah for all my hair care this past year, I couldn't be happier with my decision to make Knstruct my new salon. Sarah does the most amazing job on my hair. But beyond being a phenomenal hairdresser, she's become an amazing friend; generous with her time, and always willing to provide me with the resources and knowledge for me to help navigate my new home town. Both Heather and Sarah have created the perfect environment to make their clients feel at home and part of the Knstruct family. So much more reasonably priced compared to my boutique salon in the Bay Area. And finding parking near the salon in downtown is never an issue. Thank you Sarah and Heather for everything this past year to help welcome me to San Diego.

I absolutely love this salon! I wish I would have found it sooner. Sarah is amazing! She is friendly, fun, and just so personable and easy to talk to. She is creative and helps give you inspiration and ideas as well. The shop is clean and such a cool vibe - you can even enjoy a cold beer! They offer services for kids as well, and they support military with discounts. 10/10, highly recommend!

Knstruct is a salon where you can truly feel right at home. The ambiance is upscale, yet laid back, and the beer on tap is fantastic. Heather pays close attention to detail and make sure when I leave I'm looking my absolute best. I'll be coming back here again and again
