UPDATE: The salon got me in to fix the highlights two days later. They were really nice and added toner to darken the top. They offered to reapply toner as well. The haircut was objectively very good. In the future, I'll make sure to clarify mid coloring that the stylist understood my vision. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I feel conflicted writing this review. My stylist was really nice, but he didn't give me what I asked for. I wanted a chocolate balayage on my black hair, I specified that I did NOT want the light color going to the top, I just wanted it on the bottom half of my hair like an ombre effect (I literally said half my hair only). He totally ignored that part and gave me full length regular highlights (no particular concentration at the bottom vs top), which were caramel/orange in color, not chocolate. I really hate the look of full length highlights on black hair, and I really hate this orange caramel color. I tried to give it a day to see if I can warm up to it, but honestly I'm extremely upset. I'm 7 months pregnant so unfortunately I'm limited in my color correction options, but I'll try to get this corrected as soon as I can. I was worried when I felt him applying the bleach to my hair close to my scalp and I really wish I walked out right then and there. Again, the stylist was really nice and the highlights look even, but they are absolutely not what I asked for and the color is totally wrong. I didn't hide my disappointment in the end because I was really upset and just paid and left.

I came in for a haircut and blow dry. Such a great environment, everyone was so nice. They used great products, scalp massage, hair mask, and an amazing cut. The blow dry styling was amazing too. Will definitely come back!

I came in with a botched at home cut, and walked out feeling like a million bucks, with a better cut and a new color! Sonia’s (I may be spelling her name wrong) patience and attention to detail was unmatched! 10/10 highly recommend!! <3

I followed Cynthia to Kolor Studio because I know I can always get a great haircut and highlight with her. She knows how to handle my extra fine, super straight hair and make it look amazing. Her precision cuts are spectacular and I always get complimented on my hair after I go to see her. Even random cashiers I see all the time at the shops I frequent have commented on my latest highlights. Cynthia is also really good at coloring hair. I’ve been to other salons and I haven’t found anyone that is as precise as she is with her highlights. I also like that Cynthia will recommend hair treatments to help keep my hair healthy while it’s being color treated.

Avoid! this place for blond highlights. They do not listen to your requests for blonde color shade and bleach out to white, and insist on $65 toner, not listed on their website as a " must", with highlights. Blowdry is another $40 extra. They offer a Partial Highlight as a service and instead of doing that and making a natural livable look, they foil in stripes around your face. And charge you for a Partial, not a face frame which is what it is. And this is on an easy natural blonde head. Very poor communication and no offer to fix unhappy extremely unhappy client.

I asked to lighten my roots (image with colorful band was the before). This is what I walked out with (image with darker hair below). Needless to say this place and the colorists here are horrible! Do not go! They have no idea what they are doing. I could tell from the first moment but felt like it was too late to walk out. Now my hair is ruined. It was very dark yesterday and so I came back today to have it adjusted and brightened. The same woman did it and made my hair even darker!! Horrified by the lack of knowledge around hair color in this place. Particularly given the name. What a joke!

I went in for a Haircut and Blow-dry. Such a chic place, the people are so attentive and everyone is calm and nice. I get intimidated when trying new place and this salon welcomed me perfectly. Irina is professional and asked me what i want then she suggested what i need for my hair. Awesome lady! I’ll definitely come back.

Jasmine is quite literally the only person in the country I trust with my blonde. She knocks it out of the park every single time and is just the best! Could not recommend anyone else more highly, even for the perfect cut and style.

Sonja is a sweetheart! After my first appointment, I wanted the color slightly adjusted and she let me come back a couple of weeks later to retone my hair and was so kind about it. I ended up being very satisfied with the outcome.

Had a great experience with Jasmine at KolorStudio. The space is super modern and bright, and I didn’t have to wait at all. I went for a basic trim and walked out with shiny, glamorous tresses. First I chatted with Jasmine about the plan for my hair. I should note that I followed her to this salon and have been seeing her for years because she is a magician. The wash included an incredibly relaxing head massage and I love the cut. My haircuts from Jasmine always grow out very gracefully, which is perfect for me because I always wait too long for a cut. I enjoyed my experience at this salon and highly recommend seeing Jasmine.

I hadn’t had my hair cut or colored in awhile (as you can see in my “before” photos— embarrassing)! I’m still in awe of Anton’s work, he’s a true artist! He did an incredible job and was super meticulous. I’ve tried describing the kind of balayage I want to dozens of hair stylists.. and they never quite got it. Anton nailed it! It looks so natural, yet really pops! Also, all of the staff was great— the whole salon has a great vibe. Literally couldn’t be happier!

I have been coming to this hair studio going on 3 years now. I have never been disapointed with a treatment, cut, or color. Emma is my go-to hairstylist. She is not only wonderful at her job, but also a lovely person that makes you feel welcomed! She has never been off the mark, and has great suggestions for me when I don't know what I want. Anton did a wonderful job at figuring out what kind of haircut I needed based on what I told him I wanted and gave me the perfect haircut. He makes sure he gives you exactly what you want and is very careful with the amount he cuts off. I’m very happy with the results!

I have been getting haircuts by Jasmine for a while now and my hair has never looked so good in my life. I followed her from another neighborhood and it's worth it. The salon is nicer and more comfortable and it's a better neighborhood.

Jasmine has done my hair numerous times. Getting my color and highlights feels so effortless, Jasmine always knows exactly what I want and how to achieve it. I would highly recommend Cezanne or Keratin Services, she has done mine for years and I can’t get enough of how much easier my hair is to manage, especially having coarse thick hair as I do. Overall, I would give this place a 10 out of 10 go see Jasmine she’s my girl! 👯

I came in with a botched hair color and really need a transformation. I found Irena and was went beyond my wildest expectations. She managed to make me look amazing and I am so happy. I got a haircut with a wash and blow dry with Sonia. Sonia is an amazing, professional, and caring stylist. Sonia gives the best haircuts and blow drys and is super quick and efficient. I’ve been going to Jasmine for my haircuts for a while now, and I can honestly say she’s the only person I trust with my hair. I have stick straight hair, but she somehow always manages to give it bounce and shape in a way that no one else can. My hair is always so healthy after seeing her and falls perfectly, exactly how I like it, even with my poor next-day styling skills. Not to mention, she's the kindest person who cares about her clients and enjoys giving them confidence-inspiring cuts. You will *love* her and her work!!

This place was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. I bought a Groupon for my daughter for a haircut, deep conditioning and blowout. As soon as we arrived they offered us coffee and tea, let me charge my phone. The stylist Jasmine was amazing and did a gorgeous job on my daughter’s hair. We will definitely be back!
