Each experience with Kristy is filled with education and relaxation. I love that she has private appointments with each client and is able to teach me through the process so I am able to repeat the steps that give my hair the best results from home. When I experienced postpartum hair loss she nursed my hair back to life and made sure not to do anything that would stifle my growth. Now I have the growth, strength and color I wanted, I just had to trust the process. My favorite service is the balayage color and Carolina curl that specializes in natural hair.

Kristy is never allowed to retire. She’s just not. No one has taken care of my hair the way she has. She slays every look, my color is beautiful (highlighted in stages from dark brunette to a blonde) and my hair NOT DAMAGED. She uses Olaplex for her color processes. Literally no one does for natural hair the way she does. Whether you choose to wear it straight or curly, it’s going to be healthy and POP. She’s also skilled with face framing cuts, tape in extensions, and cuts for curly hair. Plus, she’s super sweet. See her, but make sure there’s still an appointment left for me to see her too ;)

I have been going to Kristy for my cut and color for 4 years now and I wouldn’t change my stylist for anything! My husband has been going to her for about 3 years and is always so pleased with his cut and style every time. She even did our hair on our wedding day in Charleston in 2016! Kristy is a kind, empathetic, and fun person. She takes her business seriously, but it is also clear that she loves what she does! I consider myself lucky to have her. I’ve been to many stylists in the past and no one has paid the attention to detail with my hair like she does. The same is true for my husband! Kristy has been my stylist for many years! She ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make sure I get the best treatment possible. Because my schedule is sometimes very hectic she also rearranges her book when she’s able, to assure that I can get in. Never once have I been disappointed. Kristy is one in a million! I had just moved here and was frantically trying to find a stylist to do hair for my bridal party. I needed someone capable of styling a multi-ethnic group of women which is next to impossible. Fortunately, I was introduced to Kristy and the rest is history. Everyone of my bridesmaids looked fabulous and felt confident in their hairstyle. Not to mention my hair looked beautiful for the ceremony and the reception. KRISTY is one of my favorites! She’s an expert on ALL hair types and textures. I see her when I need my curls refreshed and renewed or when I want my hair blown out straight. I did the Carolina Curls treatment and a shape. I refer all of my clients to Kristy too! And for the record, I didn’t get the doors locked or blinds shut in my face. Kristie is a wonderful stylist and takes great care of my hair as well as my daughter. She gives the best blowout in town and specializes in keeping our hair healthy and happy. About 4 years ago I was blow drying my daughter’s hair and left the heat in on it to long and burned a patch of her hair. After that I was done doing her hair. I have never been a hair girl anyway. Kristy Hyde is an phenomenal hair stylist. She styled my hair for my pre-wedding trial and though I didn’t really specify the style I preferred she sensed what I desired and to me that’s a great stylist. A stylist should be able to sometimes know what the client wants and execute accordingly. Kristy also styled my hair and bridal party for the wedding and I loved the very classy and timelines hair pick. During conversations with her she will ask what the theme of my wedding was so she chose the appropriate style for the bridal party. Also, she was very flexible with the bridesmaids and they also were very impressed with her work and professionalism. After the wedding season was over I knew I liked working with Kristy so much that she is now my forever stylist so I drive all the way from Charlotte to Greenville every two-and half months to get my hair extensions. I must admit every since I secured her as my hair stylist my hair has grown so much and it keeps growing. She gave me hair tips that no stylist has ever given me and I really appreciate the advice. I think the secret to hair is finding the right stylist with good hands to help one’s hair grow and stay healthy. Ladies your hair is your crown of glory so give it to the right stylist to meet your hair care goals. Kristy understands hair that’s what I like about her and she uses very good hair products that are very nourishing to the hair. She is very friendly down to earth that when I go to get my hair done we will talk for hours and never run out of interesting topics...soon enough the hair session will be over and her next client is already waiting but I am left with I don’t want to go home because I enjoyed every minute of getting my hair done.

Kristy did my 7 year olds hair. This was her first time ever in a salon. We were greeted with a “Hey Beautiful” upon entering her salon. She made my daughter look and feel amazing about her hair.
