This was my second time working with Sarah and she was phenomenal! I’m so happy with the color and I feel like a million bucks. Love this salon. Been coming to this salon for years. Tabitha is an excellent stylist. Aveda carries excellent products. Might be a bit pricy but your worth the quality.

I always look forward to my haircuts. Aveda Kriza is such a lovely salon. Without fail I am always offered a tea or water, and the scalp massage before the wash is my favorite part. I've been going to Brenda for years and will continue to.

Sara was attentive, listened, and understood the assignment! Her scalp massage was relaxing. My hair always looks 10x healthier when I go to Kriza. She styled it even better than I had imagined. She took her time. She was lovely. Love Kriza!!

I have been coming here for just over 3 years now. I knew I wanted Aveda because the products don't sting, arent harsh, but last. (oh and smell amazing) I have seen many hairstylists as my schedule is never consistent and have been happy with them all. When I get a choice I see Tabitha, she always does a great cut, style, and color. Tabitha and Hita even did my hair for my wedding. I am so grateful. I always arrive feeling so welcome and leave feeling like I look great.

I had the most horrible hair cut today! I am so upset but can’t do anything about it which is the worst part. This place is not the place to give the stylist freedom. Just go for a trim and that’s prob all they can handle

DO NOT GO HERE. The owner/manager Hita is such a scammer! I had consultation last month and she promised to do highlights on roots to match my existing highlights and add some low lights so no damage to be done. She pointed out how unprofessional my current highlights were “like someone just did it in lines”, she said. But that exactly what she did, she didn’t pick hair for highlights and just put it in foils in straight lines. I have never experienced anyone doing that and even asked if that would come out in lines, she said,” no don’t worry your hair are thin, it wouldn’t show”. On top, she didn’t pick any roots to match, she placed bleach on all the length and on my existing low lights, instead of adding darker colors in between, so those low lights turned orange. What a nightmare, and the HAIRCUT?! I hate everything she did. And the price?! $200/ hour she said. Then she discounted to $150. I mean, I just paid almost $900 to ruin my hair and get a worst haircut! You would think 20 years experienced brand name would get you nice hair. RUN from this place. I’m never coming back and will make sure no one I know will! 04/16/2023 reply to owner: More lies! Please do not confuse my good manners for being happy. I was unhappy with my ROOTS and my base color, not with my color. In fact, I loved mycolor and it was Hita’s idea to add more low lights which sounded like a good thing at the time of consultation but didn't happen! Now, my whole scalp looks like a zebra and my “more natural color” is more like orange. What are you even talking about? And call back for what? Do you really think I would trust to perform any more services at your salon? On the day of my consultation I specifically told that I want really small highlights on the roots so it looks natural, and Hita told me that she only does that. She coinvienved me with her lies into waiting for her for 3 weeks and go to my vacation trip with 2 inches roots, for what, only to ruin my hair?! Please keep up with your lies, but the photo speaks for itself! To add: my hair were almost at the same length on the sides/back. I allowed to cut 2 inches from bottom. What was the purpose chopping off my top layer another 2 inches? What is this cut, who even does it anymore? This is ridiculous! This salon should not have Aveda’s name, period!

An oasis of awesomeness. I love David. My hair feels refreshed and gorgeous every time. The color doesn’t wash out. Hair feels softer and looks shiny after coloring. Great stylist too. My hair looks fabulous for the first time in decades. Products they use smell glorious. It’s my go-to.

Can’t recommend Kriza Aveda Salon enough to individuals who are looking for high quality treatments/products and the most amazing staff! I have curly hair which I don’t let many work on due to previous negative experiences but can say all of my visits to this salon have been wonderful and I have never left unhappy with the results. My go to is Tabitha but love when Hita and other staff members provide feedback to ensure I’m happy and will get the best outcomes. Looking forward to my next visit!

Disappointed with my highlights. Seemed rushed, the highlights do not begin close to my parting and there is a noticeable gap at the front of my head. I will need to get them redone. I mentioned my dissatisfaction on the courtesy call but unfortunately received no follow up from management.

I've been going to this salon for years and love this place. Tommy is my stylist and he is great at highlights and cuts. I used to hop around from salon to salon - going wherever there was an appointment that fit into my schedule. Now I can't go anywhere else. I am now a dedicated Aveda Kriza customer!!!

What a wonderful experience I had at this salon yesterday with amazing stylist, Tabatha, and the salon manager, Hita. They spent time with me doing the most thorough hair consultation I've ever had and gave me great advice and did the most wonderful coloring job, My hair feels so renewed after the nourishing hair treatment as well but most of all they were so helpful, kind, and patient. The salon itself is very well maintained with lots of Aveda products to choose from and in a great location with many shops and restaurants on Ventura Boulevard near Laurel Canyon. This definitely will now be my go to salon. Can't recommend enough!

William is the BEST! I love watching him cut my hair because he is so precise and on point like if he's an artist painting a portrait. I also love the positive energy and clean space of the salon and everyone is so nice and welcoming.

This is a real gem of a salon. Hita who runs the business has a renowned international reputation as a stylist and colorist. I have been going here for years for cuts, color and many other services because everyone who works here has been trained to very high standards, and takes great trouble with all of their clients. They wouldn't have a full roster of clients that keep coming back again and again if they weren't good. There are also free little extras that they throw in too, like scalp massages, (before the pandemic there were free hand massages and make up touch ups). This is a sweet, family run business that goes to the furthest degree possible to keep their customers happy. I've seen myself how happy everyone is when they leave this place. I've also seen some really difficult customers in here. We live in an age where reviews can destroy a business' reputation, and it makes me very sad when a really great business gets harangued by some customers who use the review system to act in a vengeful way - not writing a sane, useful review, but something that is just out to destroy a business' reputation. I believe anyone can see through those reviews and imagine the kinds of people who might write them. I have no personal involvement with this business. I am simply a happy and satisfied customer who would be broken hearted to lose this place. I know of nowhere else to go that's better.

What an absolute treasure 😍. Kriza Aveda Salon, and specifically Hita were a god send. I was recommended by a friend prior to a TedX event and she did some amazing work with my thin, frizzy, and unruly hair. Don’t get me wrong my prior beauticians were ok but Hita is leaps and bounds over them with her knowledge and the amazing Aveda products. What a pleasure it is to visit her and the excellent staff and walk out feeling amazing 🤩.
