KSY in LA is my go to Salon for my kids and for myself. Esther Kim goes above and beyond when in comes to hair cuts. She pays attention to detail and we love the outcome every time. We live a few miles from the salon but we don’t mind the drive because it’s well worth it. Thank you!! 😊

I love coming to this hair salon and getting my hair colored and cut by Esther Kim. Esther is so friendly and caring. I can tell she loves what she does and always gives me recommendations to keep my hair healthy. The amount of care she takes to make sure no hair color gets on my skin and ears is awesome. I have been coming here for a few years and I will continue to come and see Esther because I know she will do a wonderful job. My color and hair cuts are always beautiful. 다른 미용실에서 머리 했다가 진짜 망해서 여기 와서 영양 받고 펌 다시 받았어요.(첫번째가 다른 미용실에서 받은거/ 2,3 번째가 여기서 받은거) 신디 미용사님이랑 알렉스 미용사님이 궁금한거 있으면 전부 대답해주시고 미용실에서 헤어 받는 동안 너무 친절하게 해주셔서 대기하는동안 편하게 있을 수 있었어요. 컬도 정말 잘 나오고 머리 구사회생 해주셔서 정말 감사합니다! ㅜㅜ 앞으로 자주 올게요ㅎㅎ

Chanel was my stylist and she was amazing! I showed her multiple reference photos and she was able to help me figure out what to get. Throughout my coloring, she was attentive, kind, and professional. I would definitely come back and have her do my hair again. Definitely worth it!

This hair salon was recommended to me by a coworker. Cindy and Alex both helped me with my unkept hair. It was really damaged and overdue for a make over. They were super nice and professional. The service was amazing! Cindy made her recommendations and it’s solely based on what I need; she doesn’t draw out stuff to make me get more. I wanted more stuff but she was honest and told me I didn’t need this or that or maybe I should wait til next time. I’m so grateful when I’m not being pushed to do anything. Cindy noticed how damage my hair is so she offered to buy me a treatment product which was so nice of her. I definitely will be a regular customer from now on!

Was looking forward to getting my haircut in LA for the first time. Decided to try this location based on the reviews. First off, I can tell the stylist is skilled; they made a mistake and did what they could to balance it out. For a men's haircut, they prewashed the hair, cut, and then rewashed so I didnt have the typical issue with a lot of cut hair still on my head and shoulders. My disappointment was that I asked for a cut, but to keep it on the long side. I don't know if she misheard me or I wasn't clear enough, but she started cutting my sides super short to the point that there was no way to fix it if it was too short (and it was)! I called out in alarm and said that is not what I wanted and that is way too short. Very surprised especially that I am a first time customer that she didn't do a test cut to see if the length was right. Unfortunately, she had to match the mistake on the other side or otherwise I would have had to ask for a buzzcut or something.... way out of my comfort zone. The biggest disappointment was the lack of communication throughout the process. I just don't know if it's a language issue, or LA culture difference, or just poor communication in general. I was only charged $45 in the end, and I was confused as I didn't see a line for tipping, much less why I had a 10% discount (guessing for the bad cut). More annoying is that I am half tempted to go to Great Clips or Supercuts to see if they can fix what happened. Or at least even it out better.

Esther is the best hairstylist I have ever had in my life. She gives the most helpful and amazing tips to keep your hair healthy and shiny. Really good place for haircut. I've been here for more than 15 years, and my husband, my mom, my aunt they all come here for their haircuts. I love here, especially my hair stylist Erica. She is soooo great, always made my hair correctly as I wanted. Highly recommended!! Oh, I even did my wedding makeup and hir style here! And that was the most beautiful makeup I've ever had in my life.

Cindy did an *amazing* job on my hair cut. She was so kind, professional, and I felt like a princess while I was getting my hair washed by Alex. They also were super kind to my mom. They gave us snacks and tea and made sure to put heaters on us since it was cold outside. They took so much care of us. I will *never* go anywhere else for a hair cut and will send my mom here, too. I did a Botox treatment plus keratin treatment with Cindy and Alex and my hair came out amazing! So happy I finally found a place in LA I can trust! They were both very attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire time! I appreciate their attention to detail and honesty! I got my hair cut at KSY for the first time by Elim, and my expectations were exceeded. All staff members were extremely friendly, constantly asking if everything was suitable. Elim did a fantastic job with meeting my requests. After showing her a picture, she mimicked the reference photo perfectly and checked along the way to see if I liked it. It is clear everyone here has mastered their craft. Amazing experience!

I have been coming here for years and I am a loyal client of Elim Heo (she is an AMAZING stylist and I hope she lives FOREVER)! The salon is spacious and clean, the staff is very efficient and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable for the top notch styling that they offer. I can’t say enough good things about this salon and their many skilled professionals and assistants! An added bonus is a wonderful coffee spot located in the same plaza so you can pick up your caffeine fix and pastry while getting your hair done. Update: Back in stylist Elim Heo’s chair ready for my fresh haircut to start the new year off right! If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. To say Elim understands hair is an understatement. She’s a hair-whisperer, i trust her completely and hope she lives to a 100!

Love this salon! I’ve been coming to KSY for 7+ years. Jane Oh is the best, and great with curly hair. The entire staff is wonderful. Highly recommend.
