I started my service some time late last year 2024 at the Katy fwy location for Kumi med spa. I had paid $900 for 6 sessions. Upon having the first session, I had already informed the manager that I don’t like my service and would just like a refund & she assured me over the the phone that I should continue my sessions and switch the laser tech and maybe that would help so I went ahead and got a second treatment and am still disappointed. The tech who serviced me the second time was decent but out of no where she quit the facility, mind you no one informed me that the tech Mariah assisting me is no longer with them. I went in for my third session on the 10th of Jan 10:15am to be very specific and the tech who serviced me was HORRIBLE. I’m not exaggerating because get this she does a total of 5 zaps on my face random spots and said there you go your full face & neck is done like are you serious right now. I had originally went in to do my face armpits and Brazilian extended but I stopped her after the face. I went home and called the spa and told them again I was not satisfied with the service at all and need a refund so they give me a corporate email. It’s been a week and a half and no one responded back to my email. Tells you a lot about the company and how they operate. I called them again this morning January 15 at 10:15am to be specific and they tell me all sales are final like I do not like service, I am not getting the desired results so will you just keep my $900 and call it a day. I am not someone whose getting laser treatments the first time so I know how it works. The other two locations are in downtown and pearl-land which is an 1 and 30 mins drive from me, very inconvenient. I’m hoping the corporate can read this review now and get back to me. I’m tired of going back n forth with these ppl at Katy fwy location and not getting an answer. It doesn’t look like they care about customer service but only the money.

They will charge you extra money wherever they can. They don't honor what they say! Won't recommend this place to anyone but if you are considering it please record or write what they say. My daughter is getting laser treatment from here: full arms, underarms, lower leg, hand & feet, neck & full face. As her sessions were ending, on our last visit we decided to continue with everything but instead of face full we decided to go with only lower face. I was asked if I wanted to continue & I said yes but quote me if we continue with what she is doing right now, I was told $555. I asked if I can think about it & decide later but I was told it's a special package, you have to decide now, price might not be the same next time. So I purchased the package. Today when I went I was told that full arms are not included in the package. I asked why? They said because you got it from Groupon, if u want to add full arms it's $199.I said yes I got it from Groupon but when I asked to quote me the price for all the services no one mentioned that full arms are not included and now u r charging extra? I even said maybe remove hands & feet and include full arms but again they refused. Anyways after all this back & forth I left. I asked for a refund and they don't do that either. Received a message after I left & left a 1 star rating on Google that would you like to come back & talk to the manager about the incident that happened today. I live 30-35 mins away, not easy for me to just stop by and I was there long enough. So those who are thinking about this place, please be very careful.

I could not have asked for a better experience! I just completed my 6th session of laser hair removal at the Katy location. Coming from someone who had never gotten waxed or done laser before, finding a place that made the experience comfortable was crucial. The best past, Kumi does not take advantage of their customers when it comes to providing affordable prices. I couldn't get myself to pay the hair removal price that other businesses were charging, so I stalled for a few years in getting this done. Finally, I found an affordable package! They are clean, professional and very accommodating. Hands down the best referral I received. Every technician I've gotten has been my favorite! Shoutout to Krystina for setting up such a comfortable environment and experience. Definitely give them a call!

I had injections done with Donna B, at Kumi. She is patient, friendly and impressively knowledgeable. Her technique is amazing and I trust her advice and recommendations. I'd follow her anywhere. She treats her patients like family for sure. Thanks Donna!

8/17/24 - I've been coming to Kumi for several years for laser maintenance and the staff is always professional and room are always clean! Gio was great during my laser treatment. Room was clean and staff is friendly.

Have had a couple of sessions so far and the service has been wonderful. My technician Mireya was very kind and explained the process, expectations, and post treatment care super well. Was less painful than the tattoos I’ve gotten.

Kumi runs the best laser package deals! The technicians are all so sweet and make sure you are comfortable during the whole session. They offer ice packs to help as well. Mireya is super sweet and helpful! Highly recommend Kumi!

I do agree with other reviewers that the services have been great but they have rarely been on time. I have purchased packages and probably they were on time once among my past 10 visits. One time I was sitting in the lobby for more than 40 mins before the nurse even realized I was there and she was available the whole time. They need to respect customers’ time more.

They don’t respect time and schedule They don’t send a reminder notification via text or email They rely on phone call but still they don’t call in proper time then they confirm the appointment without letting you know. Very poor communication and customer service It is not clean….

Staff is nice and I have seen results in my laser treatments, but they are always late. Out of 8 sessions, only once have they been on time. The other 7 sessions I have waited 15-25 minutes from my appointment time.

Crystal and Selena were amazing! My Reliable Truck never fails but it Broke down near this spa and I asked them for water and they gave it to me, they treated me as if I was a customer unlike any other business in the Park. I really am in utter disbelief of what happened here. I did a consultation on the phone and spoke to someone two different times about the service I wanted there before I bought Groupon. Full Brazilian and happy trail is what I bought. We agreed that I would buy two medium areas on Groupon even though what I was asking for was one medium (Brazilian) and one small (happy trail is considered small). We only decided this because they did not have a one small, one medium option. I was serviced here full Brazilian with happy trail with no issues. On my fifth visit the tech tells me Brazilian is only bikini area, labia not included. Then a manager there says the same. Every one knows that labia is included in Brazilian. Google is free to research this but clearly they came up with new unique rules (a way to fraud). For them to change my treatment plan out of nowhere is so distasteful & disgusting to me and is so wrong. I also know that at Kumi 2 small areas is considered a medium so I asked well can you just switch it to happytrail, labia as two small areas and Brazilian as 1 medium… since I technically purchases two medium areas. They still didn’t agree. This experience is making me realize next time I get laser somewhere else I will make the manager circle the areas on the body map with my price & sign it. I had 3 treatments left but don’t really think I want to experience their deceit and nasty energy anymore. This place owes me beyond an apology.

I was given a call a few days before my appointment and told that my microneedling session would have to be cancelled due to not having the specific parts for the skin pen. On the day of my scheduled appointment, they called my friend back about her microneedling inquiry and informed her that she can come in at 12:30 pm for microneedling. They gave her the option for normal microneedling as well as RF microneedling. After my friend informed me, I called the office and let them know that they canceled my appointment but are giving the option to my friend for the session. The manager was extremely rude and not apologetic or accommodating at all. My appointment was already payed for and I wasn't given the option of getting a refund by them. For a professional medical spa, this is extremely disappointing and the lack of costumer service and accommodations that they showed a costumer that's already payed is absolutely ridiculous.

I would like by saying that everyone here is very friendly never have received any bad attitudes. However , I purchased multiple packages here and I feel I didn’t get my moneys worth . They never have availability so my laser sessions were always further apart than what’s recommended to actually have the proper results . I bought my first laser package right before the pandemic but I wasn’t offered to start over although they were closed for a while . When I came I was even told “ the more you wait between sessions the better “ which now I know isn’t true . The facials I received also weren’t consistent although I paid a lot for a package which again couldn’t even use fully due to their availability . When I did manage to book an appointment I was always waiting for extensive periods of time and then I felt rushed . My file was always inconsistent as well and when I would ask for what I could do to prep prior so I can endure a higher setting I was never given instruction. Overall I think their vision is great but execution lacks . I haven’t returned for services for this reason .

Place is super cute and clean so I drive there even if it’s a little far for me. I have seen amazing results with the laser hair removal treatments. The aestheticians have always been great and nice. The staff at the front is a hit or miss,some barely acknowledge you when you get there, but some are super nice and helpful. Other than some of the front desk staff, I definitely recommend this place and wish there was a location in the spring area.

love this place ! not only is it decorated super cute but the staff is friendly and my laser tech samira is very meticulous always doing a great job while making sure im comfortable throughout the entire process. i've seen immediate results and cant wait to finish my sessions and explore everything else they have to offer !
