I highly recommend Kathy for your wedding day, or any special event! I purchased the couture bridal hair and makeup package for my special day. She gave me honest feedback on the kind of hair/makeup look that I was going for and took her time during my trial and on the day of my wedding to make me look my absolute best. My bridal party was also very happy with how she styled their hair and how she took her time with them as well. She is very easygoing and understands that each bride has a different budget!

I booked Kathy 2 years ago for my mini sunset photoshoot. I’m from Alaska. Hair and makeup lasted all night! My makeup was the most flawless ever. She’s super sweet and friendly! I would recommend her for all your glamour needs.

I cannot begin to explain how happy I was with my hair and makeup for my wedding day. It has been exactly one year and I still rave about it. Kathy is amazing at what she does! She has the Midas touch and I will never not recommend her. For pictures and a detailed review that I STILL remember a year later please read below. My bridal trial was the confirmation that Kathy is truly talented and I wanted to continue with her for my bridal hair & makeup. For makeup, she made sure my skin was properly prepped and hydrated ensuring my makeup stayed in tact throughout the whole day. I was amazed at how even in 100° weather, my makeup still looked great. I had an outdoor photo session with my husband on my bridal trial day and the amount of compliments I received was insane. She began by asking for inspo pics, my makeup style preference and checked in with me throughout the whole application/hair process. Every sneak peek I got, I would melt into my seat because it was all so gorgeous. This remained true on wedding day a month later. It stayed beautifully over the span of 16+ hours (we started makeup early & ended our wedding very late 🤭) I emphasize on the skin being properly prepped because I have worked with other makeup artists and have quickly noticed that my makeup starts to smear or get patchy after a few hours. Her products are great quality & curated for your skin type. For hair, I have nothing but great things to say as well. I got tons and tons of compliments on both hair and makeup, but my hair stood out a lot because it was so long and voluminous! A struggle I had before finding Kathy was that many makeup artists would “glam” a little too bold or dark for my liking. From Kathy’s social media work, I noticed she had range in her makeup application, but it still remained this ethereal, glowy, soft but still glam look I was looking for. I did mention I was skeptical about using black of any sort on my eyes. I said I would prefer to use dark brown and she did do that but she was very transparent and explained that for my eyeliner she would have to use a black eye pencil very lightly to give me more drama and the dark brown would be on top. She explained that it would help the color pop and it would look better in photography and that durability would be longer. I trusted her expertise and oh, she DELIVERED!! I want to emphasize on this because I know many brides like to stay “natural” but sometimes natural doesn’t always come out the way you’d like in photography. Especially for wedding or special event photography. You want your makeup to pop, even if it’s “soft” or “natural”. Do not be afraid of a little more makeup or a darker color. A truly talented artist like Kathy will make it blend and look beautiful. So a few key takeaways: - always book a trial. They really help your makeup/hair artists work with what you like/don’t like before the big day. - do communicate and be ready with inspo pics but be OPEN to suggestions from your artist. If push comes to shove and you do want to make changes that’s what you had the trial for - lastly, I 1000/10 recommend Kathy as your next hair and makeup artist. I have been going to Kathy for years. She started off as my makeup & hairstylist for my wedding back in 2021 and honestly did such a beautiful job. I love that she made sure I looked as flawless as I can all the way up to after my ceremony. My makeup last through all the cries and all the smiles and even the rain! I chose to go back to her as my hair dresser because I loved how she listens and understands what I want before making it happen. These are just a few of the styles she done for me over the few years and I started off as black hair.

I highly recommend booking with KVX whenever you need your hair or makeup done for any occasion. it was my first time ever getting my hair and make up professionally done and Kathy did an amazing job. She’s very outgoing and makes you feel comfortable when tending to your services. I am so happy because I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect person to do my hair and make up for my wedding. Kathy is such a talented woman who truly puts all her effort and heart into her artistry. Kathy is the best. She is patient and really listens to her clients to give you the best results. For a woman who wears hijab, I was so happy to find that she has a private salon, where I could get a haircut and color with complete privacy.

I booked KVX Bridal for my wedding hair and makeup and had a wonderful experience. I decided to go with the couture bridal package for myself as well as hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids and both of my moms. Kathy helped assemble a team of hair and makeup artists to get all 12 of us ready for the big day. This was no easy task and I appreciate all her hard work in organizing a great team. From the consultation day to wedding day, Kathy was easy to communicate with and made me feel so comfortable. I felt sooo beautiful and satisfied on the day of our trial and I don’t know how she made it possible for me to feel even more amazing on the wedding day. Kathy went above and beyond and made me feel so beautiful and special. I appreciate that she took her time with me and we even met a few times to see which color extensions would best match my hair. She even went out of her way to find the perfect false lashes that complimented my makeup look. I am still so obsessed with my hair and makeup and recommend Kathy for any of her services. I absolutely love my full bridal glam! Kathy is an expert with Hollywood glam waves and I highly recommend her if you’re also looking for the same hairstyle. I also rented her Bellami hair extensions and they felt so nice, no tugging or headaches! My hair was super bouncy and it was everything I wanted and more. Both hair and makeup lasted all night even through all the dancing and partying. I received so many compliments! If you’re a bride-to-be, spoil yourself on your big day! I love that the couture package includes a 1 hr touchup. This is perfect because you most likely will be shedding a few tears and Kathy will be there to help make sure your hair and makeup stay flawless. I promise you won’t regret it! Kathy is an absolute master at her work. She is incredibly professional and one of my FAVORITE vendors to work with. I recommend her to all my couples but especially my couples who want an expert in Hollywood Waves/ Classic Hollywood hairstyles. She truly is a magician!

I booked with KVX Bridal for my wedding and I couldn't have picked a better makeup artist. Kathy was very accommodating to any changes or requests I made for my bridal makeup. During the makeup trial she made sure to show me the makeup throughout the process to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I also had very picky bridesmaids who don't normally wear a lot of makeup and were unsure about getting their makeup done. Kathy was able to personalize the makeup looks to what each bridesmaid was comfortable with and had all of my girls looking amazing! I absolutely loved my bridal makeup and it lasted the entire day of my wedding! I can’t say nothing but good things about Kathy. I booked her last minute (1.5 weeks) for my bridal hair and makeup. With no trial she knew my vision. I had nothing but amazing compliments from guests at my wedding. She was on time at my house and finished on time as well. Can’t wait to use her services for future functions.

Kathy did a PHENOMENAL job on my hair and makeup! She is such a sweet, understanding, helpful, and incredibly TALENTED artist! Not only was she an amazing hair an makeup artist, but she also helped with other things during the wedding. She was basically my right hand person. I didn’t have a wedding coordinator and she stepped into that role right before the wedding. She absolutely DID NOT need to do that! She saved the day and made sure everything went well. I got tons of compliments all night and my hair stayed all night too! I 1000% recommended her and her services! You WILL NOT be disappointed! I’d give her 5 stars over and over again.
