I recently moved to VA, and was looking for a new salon. I reached out here and from the start they were very kind and attentive. Haley does my hair, and she does one FANTASTIC job. She’s knowledgeable, respectful, always makes sure you are comfortable with everything and genuinely cares for you. I always leave feeling like I’m a top model. DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

I did not have a great experience with this salon. The stylist was very rough during the appointment and unprofessional. I also made a point to say I wanted to keep the length and we discussed taking off an inch but the stylist cut off at least 3 and it is noticeably shorter. Highly dissapointed and do not recommend this salon.

TJ is awesome!! I got a blowout today and he was very knowledgeable & kind during the entire process. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good salon in the area :)

First appointment was a disappointment as the stylist was not prepared since it was put in the books wrong when scheduled. The second appointment for the make up trial was amazing, everyone was nice and accommodating. Did great make up work on my wife for the make up trial. Looking forward to seeing what they do on the wedding day.

I had Hailey highlight and cut my hair. She was very professional and did a wonderful job! She listened and offered suggestions. Key word being listened! It was a new salon and new stylist for me and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I booked another appointment for 8 weeks. Hello new hair home! P.S. she made me laugh!

If you are looking for a great stylist, you need to go see TJ! He took my disaster of a haircut I had recently got and turned it into one of the best experiences! I was literally in tears when I walked in but TJ put a smile back on my face. Everyone there is so nice the atmosphere is very inviting and I am extremely grateful! 😊

I’ve been going to see Rhonda for months now to keep my awful gray roots covered. She always does a great job! She works with me to figure out which color will best keep the grays from being too noticeable and her cuts are always what I ask for. The salon is clean, and the staff always greets me and is accommodating. It’s close to my home and convenient. Would recommend!

Really bad haircut! I've gone here several times over the years. First few times great cut and service. But recently I have had the worst haircut (uneven and choppy)and the last 3 times. (Over a 2 year period) The stylist was really late or a no show.

Ronda is the best! She did a fabulous job on my hair, which needed a lot of work. My hair looks amazing after I neglected it for way too long. She was kind, easy to talk to, and a genuinely nice person. I am so happy I found La Bella Salon!

Tanya is the best! Always does a miracle with my hair which isn't easy! Salon is beautiful and alcohol available for those who want to relax while you are there! Also sodas as well . Definitely recommend!

This salon is amazing! I drive over 30 minutes from Virginia Beach to visit Haley. She ALWAYS gives me exactly what I’m requesting when I go in and always does whatever she can to accommodate me and what I want done to my hair. The staff is friendly and professional. The salon is well maintained and nicely decorated. I always look forward to my appointments at La Bella Chic!!!

Scarlet is amazing! Can't say anything but fabulous things. La Bella's has a very pleasant atmosphere, professional, and clean. I really wish I wasn't moving...I am really going to miss this salon. Hands down would recommend this salon and Scarlet.

So I went in for a Balayage. I wanted a darker color on my hair. The girl that was performing my service was new and nervous and so she was consulting with another woman. The other woman told her what color to use. First thing I noticed was that it was a lighter color than I had requested. Then I noticed that it didn’t even color my grays. The girl performing the service also noticed it didn’t fully cover and said she could spray more color on afterward. She started on my haircut before putting the other color on. She cut and cut trying to make it even but every strand of my hair is a different length. I stopped the service from there because I noticed it wasn’t going well for her at all and didn’t feel confident that she or the other woman she consulted with could get me the rest of the hair color I wanted. So they told me I owed them $105 for what I am not sure! I didn’t get the color or grays covered that I requested. I didn’t get a proper haircut. I took them 3 hours to totally mess my hair up and I wasn’t going to stay there any longer for them to TRY to fix it as my 7 yr old son was there waiting with me. I have had these services in the past from other people and had what I wanted done within that time frame. So I called back up there later that afternoon and wanted to speak with a Manager to get my money back. Apparently that isn’t their store policy to give people their money back when they completely botch it! They said they have to be given a chance to fix it. I can’t believe this place! I do not recommend! So I went back so they could fix my hair. They set me up with their “Master Stylist” Rhonda. But why have a no refunds policy and say you’re going to fix it, if when the customer returns your new stylist is passive aggressive the whole time and then finally when you have had enough and get upset then she runs her mouth even more?! Arguing with the customer is the policy you hold there?! They just tried to embarrass me and upset me the whole time! Never accept their “fixing” your botch jobs, always argue harder to get your money back because if you go back they will just gang up and try to embarrass you! Rhonda followed to the door running her mouth at me as I was trying leave! The most unprofessional place I have ever been to and I have been to a number of salons all over this country!

Worst salon I’ve ever used. Wasted 4 hours only to have my hair butchered and colored the wrong color. A 7-year old could have done a better job cutting my hair evenly, 2 inch difference in length across the back from shoulder to shoulder. Contacted manager and they refused to refund my money. Offered to try and fix but couldn’t see me for 2 weeks. Expected me to wait 2 weeks before my hair was fixed. So embarrassing! I will never go back and will warn everyone I know not to trust them. Horrible experience and humiliating what they did to my hair for how much they charged me.

Cut and customer service was great. Stylist was friendly and informative. I paid $40 additional for a blowout, however, a curling iron was used and thats not really what I was expecting for a blow out. The cut and style was great, I just dont think they should advertise a blow out when a curling iron is used.

Extremely disappointed in the level of customer service and services provide by Neri! This salon is extremely over priced and the level of service provided is mediocre. Came in after Covid quarantine, for a platinum blonde growth and extension consult. I was charged $600 and walked out with a yellow band around my head. The stylist I saw didn’t allow the bleach to process the first time, when she washed out my hair.I was left with a orange band. She then proceeded to add a second round of bleach. When I left the salon she parted my hair, where the yellow band was not noticeable. The following day I noticed the yellow band called the salon. I’m normally in the salon for 3 hours, as I have been a platinum blonde for a couple years now, I was there for 4 for her mistake. I was scheduled for my extensions placement the following week and ask if I could come in and get them both done. Came in for the extension installation with the same stylist. Showed her the yellow band and she immediately got all defense, like I screwed up her hair. Her customer service just thrown out the window that I had to speak to the owner. I was then explain why I was charged 600, 150 by the hour. Because of the product and time it took. So not only was I charged for her mistake, they charged me for the extra time as well, ridiculous. Decided to give Neri another try despite our fall out to place my hair extensions. Horrible mistake! She has no experience, the foundation of my extensions fell a part in about 3 weeks expand. I had to come back for her to redo 2 out of 3 rows. I noticed that the top weft was cut short, didn’t even make it to the last bead!( She again didn’t mention a thing). When I was 7 weeks out I experienced, breakage off the 3 row. Talked to the owner and she had the audacity to tell me “maybe my hair was too fine for this type of extensions ”after the fact that I spent 1000 for the hair(650)and placement(350). Like isn’t that what the consultation is for?? I also couldn’t wear my hair straight, without you knowing I had extensions on. I have been wearing hand tied extensions for the past year and a half and never had the foundation fall apart as well as never experienced breakage till now. This place lacks experience in extensions, as they just got certified a year ago, then the pandemic happen = zero hands on experience!

I went to Neri after my hair had been completely destroyed by a bad color job- it was bleached, overprocessed, had a bright orange stripe around the middle, and a giant chunk of dark hair in the back- it was a mess. She completely fixed after a quick consult and then just a regular length visit. She is amazing! Also, for anyone concerned in regards to covid- from what I have seen everyone is good about wearing masks here.

I’ve been going to Scarlet, the shop owner, since she started hair school. And she has become an expert at her trade...and now a business owner. The salon is always clean.Everyone is friendly and always puts me at ease. I highly recommend La Bella Chic Salon.

I’ve gone to every stylist here and have never been disappointed! Love the atmosphere and results. Ashlin is my favorite but they’re all amazing! They’ve done just about every color on the spectrum for me lol.

Hayley is absolutely amazing! The first time with a new hairdresser is usually stressful and you tend to sit on pins and needles, but none of that happened with Hayley. She is insightful, understanding, and patient when we discussed where my hair had been and in what direction we would be going with it. She ROCKS all things colors and does an amazing cut. I would highly recommend her to any of my family and friends!!

Was very excited to go to this salon. I had my hair cut by Sierra. I thought she had done a great job until I got home and saw that half of my head was uneven. I went right back and was able to get it fixed. However, I am still finding uneven parts. Even after this, I was willing to give it another shot until today. I scheduled an appointment for my 11 year old daughter after speaking with Sierra about her and doing her hair. She had an appointment scheduled for today. Three hours prior to our scheduled appointment, I received a phone call that Sierra was doing something that would require a lot of time and that she couldn’t see my daughter today or at all because she only works one day a week and no longer sees kids. I wish I would have been told this upon scheduling my appointment three weeks ago. Because it seems that a client can so easily be brushed off, even with the offer of seeing someone else this week and the experience with my cut I have chosen to go elsewhere for services.
