The gel paint started chipping off on the very next day. Very very disappointed. Also, all the while the tech kept rushing everything. Right from the beginning she kept saying I need to rush for the next person. She made me feel guilty getting the service. Don’t know why I also tipped her at the end. :( i just feel like i wasted my time and money there.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER. STAY AWAY. I'm a guy with thick wavy hair and had been growing it out from a buzz cut for the past 6 months. My goal was to get to a layered shoulder length 70's kinda cut and I was half way there. I went to this salon in Potrero Hill because it was near my house and had a good haircut review from a guy. When I got to the salon, I was promptly seated and showed the stylist 3 different photos of my goal style/length, and reiterated I just wanted a minor trim to the ends and especially did not want the length over the ears or neck cut any shorter since it was finally getting past that awkward stage. The first thing she did was start cutting the hair falling over an ear. I stopped her and should have walked out then. She then recommended using thinning scissors which she said would not take away length and still give the layers I was looking for. Within 5min, she had randomly cut into my hair so much that it literally looked like I was going bald. Anywhere I parted my hair, I had a whole line of tiny jagged hairs sticking straight up. I stood up mid cut, paid $30 and walked to a barber down the street where they said the only recourse was to use a 1" clipper all over my head. I am now back to square one. 6 months of getting through the awkward stage gone in 5min. I know it's just hair and I'm fortunate this is a big enough problem in my life that I'm taking the time to write this but hopefully it keeps someone from a horrible haircut experience at La Fleur Hair & Nail Spa

I at first was really impressed with their color options, no other salon had the variety they had. Unfortunately though, my nail tech knicked three of my fingers, one of them bled while in the salon, 2 of them were painful but did not bleed. She then halfway through the mani took off her gloves and started cleaning up around my nails with her bare hands/nails. I didn’t say anything about the cuts bc she did wipe/disinfect it immediately after it started bleeding. I’ve never been cut before ever when getting a manicure, it hurt a lot but I assumed it would be okay, as most cuts are. These 3 fingers are still in pain, still red and slightly swollen, even the two fingers didn’t bleed at the salon hurts today. I put some antibiotics cream and wrapped them in bandaids, hopefully it gets better and doesn’t get infected :/ I am really disappointed and definitely will not be coming back.

Mediocre quality. I did a gel and it started to fall off after about only 2 weeks. Sloppy work around the edges of my nails.

My wife sent me here because my feet were looking rough. I usually never get a mani/pedi but they did such an amazing job, especially with the massages that I’ll have to come back soon

This was my first time at La Fleur. I live in the neighborhood and heard good things. I had a really complicated request for a design and Anna worked so hard to mimic my reference. She really went above and beyond! I'm very happy with her work. I literally got compliments barely an hour after walking out the door. I'll definitely come back next time I need a manicure.

Very bad experience. I had made an appointment for 3:45 and when no one attended to me I ended up leaving at 4:30. I made an appointment for a reason so I shouldn’t have to wait for 45 mins. Very poor customer service.

Great hair cuts for a good price. Barber is brutally honest (your hair is thinning), and not shy about asking to pay and tip in cash, but it adds to the character of the place. Will keep coming back.

For a mens haircut, I showed the lady a picture of the haircut, and as I was trying to explain she interrupted me and said she had it, but no she didn't, cut it too short and it was to late by the time I realized, and know I know she didn't knew what I wanted and I guess you need to question a little bit before trusting.

I had the worst experience here. I got nail extensions here. When I went to get them done, they treated me nicely. But they started coming out in a couple of days. I got them done for a vacation and could not go to the salon again soon as I was out of town. I went there after a week and they didn't accept their mistake. Instead, told me I should have come the day they broke. How could I? I was not in town!! After much convincing, they agreed to fix my nails. But the lady was being so impatient that she ended up ripping of my cuticles and it started bleeding. Didn't even say sorry.

I have had pedicures done by multiple pedicurists here and they’re always amazing. I have ingrowns and they’re always gentle but thorough in removing them. Would give 10 stars if I could. Nice clean salon

Had a pretty negative experience for my first time here. Made an appointment because I had a super busy day, and when I walked in and confirmed my appt, they had me take a seat. And then I waited for at least 30 mins without anyone even glancing at me. A woman who walked in after me with an appt at the same time also waited a bit, but got her nails started before mine. I was ready to just leave and decided to call the guy over, but he insisted they’d shift start right away. When I asked about how much time it would actually take, he didn’t give me a time frame and just said they’d start now. It was almost 40 mins after my appt when they finally started. I was clearly upset about the wait but I figured I had already wasted time so I might as well see how their service would be. The lady who did my pedicure did a wonderful job, but then the one who did my hands just made me more upset. She didn’t ask for my shape before she cut the nails, and shaped them in a way I didn’t like. But it was too late to change the shape at that point. She also filed my skin along with my nails, and I have small cuts on a few of my fingers. And then the color she put on my nails was silver even though I picked a gold color, but at that point I was over it. Some of the nails are unevenly painted too, and my thumb is very obviously disproportionately painted. It was almost two hours before I could finally leave. And the worst part was when I went up to pay, the same guy who checked me in and made me wait didn’t even apologize. Then after I gave my card, he asked about how I wanted to tip while he still had my card, and when I asked for my card back, tried to shame me for not tipping. And when I told him about the wait and the nails, he tried to ask to look at and fix them, and I told him I didn’t have more time to waste. He finally gave my card back, and I did notice the receipt had a place for a tip too, so it’s weird he asked about cash or venmo specifically. The lady who did my feet really did do a great job and I feel some remorse for not tipping her, but overall this place had no respect for my time, did my nails poorly, and I still have small cuts on my fingers. I wish I had read previous reviews on Yelp about how they waste time, have poor customer service, and are shady about tips. Never coming back here again, for sure.

La Fleur is my go-to neighborhood nail salon. Very reliable, usually fast, clean, and I’m always happy with the quality. It’s a good value. Plus, I love the staff there and it’s a pleasure to see their familiar faces when I come in. Everyone is very friendly!

Nice staff. They have solid hair skills, and their nail color selection seems endless. I brought my wife here because she was scared from a nail salon years ago (where the other salon cut up her skin near her nails) and la fleur's staff's careful touch managed to convince her that pedicures and manicures can be pleasant.

So I will come into this nail salon for the last year. A few weeks ago I asked to get my nails dipped. The owner always suggested gel X. Those are like press on nails, and they don’t last.. So yesterday I went to get my nails redone, but I didn’t get a pedicure as usual. I usually pay 108 to get a pedicure and nails. Yesterday I only got nails and was charged $80. I was charge this amount because they had to take off the gel X nails that her husband the owner suggested get and I didn’t like . I’ve never got charged for this before. When you get dipped nails or gel nails, they have to soak off. This is bad service Bu management but my nails are pretty . Be consistent.
