Lisa at La Luna on Alki is second to none in Seattle. She is an excellent stylist and a master at color. When I have ideas, she listens and guides me in the direction of that style in a way that suits my facial features. I cannot recommend her talents enough.

Lisa has been my stylist for many years and has always done a fantastic job! I've never had one complaint. The few times I wanted a tweak, she makes it happen. If there was ever a time I wanted more than a tweak, no problem! Any negative reviews here have to be based on misunderstandings or assumptions without clarification. She is great and I highly recommend her!

Absolute scam. I got my hair done by Lisa Marie a few weeks ago. I went in and gave her my whole saga. I used to do full foils, and I decided that I wanted to go natural so I grew it out a little bit but it was just like awkwardly grown out. She did a short eval and we agreed on a reverse balayage, I thought it was a great idea. She did a few foils, and then a gloss. It is absolutely not a reverse balayage, she dyed my hair brown. The tips are like black. She must’ve said it dozen times it’ll get lighter. She washed my hair three times, she almost fully dried it, and then took me back to the sink to wash it the last time, claiming it was that there was product in it, but I’m confident it was just a lot darker than she expected. Here’s the thing, I wouldn’t have been that upset about this, except what she charged me. It’s my fault for not asking for price, but when she said she was doing a gloss for the reverse balayage, I was relieved it wasn’t going to be hundreds of dollars. She never told me the price. At the end, I laid my car down the table. She picked it up and charged me before I could stammer out ‘oh, how much was it for?’ IT WAS $375. I had to run to deal with a sick family member coming home on hospice otherwise I would’ve stayed and confronted her. I did call asking to understand breakout because cost surprised me and she responded by text after but I still don’t understand why this cost me so much money. I’m terribly upset with my hair. And I’m terribly upset with the cost. Straight up scam. It’s been two weeks, and it’s an ugly, reddish brown with black tips. This is not what I asked for.

I had a wonderful experience @ Lisa Marie’s salon. I got a fabulous haircut, just what I wanted. She uses high end products, & she gave me a fantastic blowout. Super cool girl vibes loved the shop. I highly recommend her. 💜

I scheduled several weeks ago and then on the day of my appointment I received a text saying that she was sick and needed to reschedule. The following week, another rescheduled text was sent (day of) because she was still sick. Okay, fine. Then I got another reschedule (day of) because she had a birthday party to attend (why did you schedule an appointment if you knew you'd be unavailable?). Okay... I said I was free Tuesday and Wednesday the following week. I get an appointment scheduled for Thursday. Fine. As long as I finally get the appointment. Then, today (day of again) I get another reschedule attempt in text because she suddenly remembered she meant to schedule me for Friday (not a day I said I was available) and that she was out of town today. I said that doesn't work for me and that I'll just cancel and go elsewhere to which she replies that if I can be available later today, she can do the cut. (What? I thought you were out of town?) I would have liked to support a small business and get a haircut from Lisa Marie, but this experience was entirely unprofessional. I understand rescheduling due to illness. But this was too much. I am taking my business elsewhere.

I've been in Seattle for 14 years now, and I've had probably as many stylists. I don't think I have difficult hair to cut our color but apparently I do because nobody has been able to cut my hair in a way that I'm happy with until I started going to Lisa @ La Luna. She's the absolute best!!! She never cuts my bangs too short and she also does phenomenal color. I started going to Lisa over 2 years ago, and now I won't go anywhere else. La Luna salon is super hip with a cool retro/rock/pinup vibe. She has cool art and jewelry for sale from local artists which I think is super cool to support our community. I can't say enough good things about Lisa. I love her, I adore her! If you're in doubt About trying a new stylist, Trust me on this. I have literally gone to at least a dozen people over the last 14 years. It took me awhile to find her and she was right in my backyard-ish. 💕💯🙏🏻🤩

I've been to many hair salons in NYC, LA and Seattle. I've lived in Seattle for 32 years and searched many years before I found someone with Lisa Marie's talent. Without a doubt Lisa Marie is one of the most talented colorist's and stylist's I've ever had the pleasure of working with. She consistently provides impeccable service. I have difficult hair to color as it's white and dark black/brown, and Lisa Marie takes the two ends of the color spectrum and turns me into a beautiful platinum blonde never leaving yellow tones, or damaging my hair. Additionally, I'm constantly changing the style of my hair and she always cuts my hair to flatter my features keeping me looking my best. Of all the salons I've frequented I've never before found a stylist that is so consistent and professional always leaving me looking beautiful. I highly recommend Lisa Marie, and refer her to many people as I'm constantly stopped and asked "who does your hair." Thank you Lisa Marie for your extraordinary talent, professionalism and kindness. It's a rare stylist that leaves you feeling beautiful every time you leave their salon.

I just want to say props for Lisa Marie! Her salon is such a great environment, very homey. She is warm and intuitive so easy to communicate with. I went violety blonde and had some color in my hair already so it turned out to be a color correction and she collaborated with me to make it just right, and worked quickly to resolve the pieces that changed color. She has a good eye for dimension in highlighting using a full foil technique. I recommend her as a person and as a hair stylist. She has a lot to offer people who have a vision for what they want their hair to look like!

Lisa is amazing! Seriously, the best haircut I've ever had. I used to be afraid of hair salons because they'd always cut my hair too short. Instead, I'd cut my own hair, which isn't that good either. With Lisa, I got exactly what I wanted and more. Plus, she's really great to talk to. I highly recommend her. :)

My regular colorist had to cancel last minute so I needed to find someone in my neighborhood that could help me out. I am graying natural redhead who was super nervous about going to someone new to match my color. I talked to Rebekah over the phone and explained my situation . She was happy to help. I was still very nervous until she washed the color out and started drying my hair. IT WAS GORGEOUS! I was stunned she did such a perfect job. I am super picky and i didnt have one complaint. She also trimmed my uneven ends, gave me a bang trim, blew it out straight and used flat iron. I left there with super sexy hair and beyond happy. I highly recommend Rebekah. She listens to what you want and is so skilled that she can actually do what you ask for. I hate to ditch my regular colorist but Rebekah made it hard for me not to want to switch to her for good. Give her a try! You wont be disappointed.
