I have been here many times, and the owner, a French speaking lady is the one who does the work on me. I adore her! The way she greets me and performs the services I request. I came through Groupon years ago. This has been my favorite place in Austin and surroundings! I usually go for deals but this place has always been a great experience so it’s better to do the work with this lady as she understands my taste and my limited budget. I like natural looking results. Instead of paying through Groupon, I pay cash. 💰 Everyone is happy! 😊

Probably the best med spa experience I have had in Austin so far. The girls are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, and not pushy. My injector Vickmay definitely knows her craft. Needless to say I will be coming back!

Vickmay is a rockstar, I’ve been seeing her for over 2 years and am never disappointed. She is skilled at her craft, with every treatment the results are spot on. This is a warning to any would-be customers. You will waste your time if you come here. They will book an appointment and then nobody will show up. We’ve been waiting for 30min past our appointment time and their doors are locked. Customers have come and gone and it’s like they have no business. Do not waste your time or money coming here. Read all of the other comments related to their terrible service and take heed.

I had a hard time finding the place, she was very sweet and understanding of my tardiness and helped me find the place. Afterwards, we sat down together and we discussed everything I wanted to improve and we came up with a plan. She was very sweet, kind and knowledgeable about what she is doing.

I had an appointment today 9/17/24 to get a consultation along with a B6, B12 shot and a chin fat dissolving shot. I was specifically told when I made my appointment that my face would be swollen for two or three days. I rescheduled my first appointment as I had a previous engagement and could not be swollen. They sent me pre-care instructions and a text the day of my appointment (today) letting me know what treatments I would be having. I am not naïve and knew that it would take more than one chin fat dissolving shot to fix my concerns. I was told when I made my appointment that my first treatment was part of their special and that they would give me information on how many additional treatments I would need at a discount. The lady that gave me my consultation told me I would need three additional treatments and that it would cost $2900. She proceeded to send me a text with a company (Cherry) that they use for payments/financing. I explained that I was not going to fill out the form for financing as I still needed to speak to my husband on the financial decision and to decide whether we wanted to do financing or just pay for it outright or put it on my credit card. Plus I wanted to see if the first shot made any difference even if it was minor or if I had any reaction to it. She then told me that I would need to be rescheduled for my first treatment!! So because I did not decide right then and there to do the additional treatments or to sign up for financing she would not do the first treatment as discussed. This was a horrible bait and switch tactic and an extremely disgusting way to get new clients. Why send pre-care instructions? Why send a text the day of treatment explaining the outline of my treatments? Why let me reschedule, knowing that I had an engagement and that my face was going to be swollen….If you were not going to do what was discussed? Horrible 😤

If I could leave no stars I would. I went for a $97 promo for Kybella on the jawline, that included a skinny shot and a b12 shot also. When I walked in she immediately pulled me back and began asking me why I wanted the procedure, said I was a great candidate and pulled me to the front to take payment before beginning. The card reader read $2900. I was shocked as like I said I was going in for a $97 special. She explained this was for a package deal. When I explained I just wanted to pay the $97 they apparently no longer had time to do my kybella. I paid $97 for a skinny shot and a b12 shot. Will not be back here, they are a scam.

My appointment was at 2pm, when I arrived no one was in the salon at all. I called and a lady said she was on the way. 30min later only one person arrives. With four of us waiting outside. At this point I should have left. They did False advertisement for $97 for 3 Treatments and hit me with a price of over $2k. The room for treatment was not sanitary, she had all the stuff still out on table as she took me in. Waste of Time & Money! Doing false advertising to “gain clientele” and then providing this service is crazy work.

Went in for the 97$ promo for kybella and Anna tried to charge me 2900$ as one of the treatments would be part of a bundle. I told her I just wanted to get the one treatment for 97$ as she proceeded to seem frustrated as she had already done the injection. Poor injection technique she did not apply a grid just free hand. No numbing cream and was very rough. I do not recommend this place it is very unprofessional go to a real dermatology office. My neck is still very swollen and was given no after care instructions.

La Vie LVS Med Spas & Salon is a beautiful salon with exquisite staff. When receiving Botox and Fillers they use the REAL stuff and are true artists at their craft. I've been to several places over the years and this is the first time that I got exactly what i wanted and even better. The products last and my face looks 20 years younger. They also now do eyelash extensions and Anameli is the BEST. Your lashes will look full, beautiful, long and they will last without any irritation from cheap glues. La Vie has my highest recommendation!

Don't have employees. Long wait and don't explain the process or after care. Don't provide information or talk about the service. They just go and do the service and done bye. I went for Kabella injection in jawline. Not gentle. Don't recommend it.

The Owner at La Vie en Rainey is superb! She is one of the most knowledgeable med spa experts I've ever met. They are always moving forward with the latest technologies and advancements in the med spa industry. I trust her and her team implicitly when it comes to med spa treatments. They also have a huge array of other spa services from massage to facials, cryotherapy, IV drip, hair styling/makeup and more.

I booked this place twice and both times the spa was randomly closed during business hours. Either let us know ahead of time or just don’t let people book when you’re actually closed. They also proceeded to charge my boyfriend anyways, which is pretty shady. Disappointing.

This salon is beautiful and classy with excellent customer service. My stylist Joe is the best! He goes above and beyond and does a perfect job on my hair everytime! I highly recommend!

I am not usually one to post a negative review, but after 3 negative experiences at this place I had to share my thoughts. I call this 3 strikes and your out. Number 1, I went to La Vie a few months back to receive a facial. I ended up having an allergic reaction mid facial and the staff seemed as though they didn't know what to do. It was very unprofessional. Number 2, I went back to La Vie a month later to receive botox. I receive Botox regularly so I didn't think there would be any issues. They told me during my appointment I needed more than I usually get. I went along with it, and two weeks later my eyelids began to droop. I called the spa and they said they would talk to the technician and get back to me. I never heard back... unfortunately I had drooping eyelids for 2 months and have had to just had to wait for the Botox to wear off.. complete waste of money.. Last but not least, Number 3. I was giving La Vie one more shot so I went to get a partial highlight on July 10, 2023 at the hair salon portion. Joseph is the guy who did my hair. After showing him multiple pictures and telling him exactly what I wanted he did the complete opposite. My hair looked HORRIBLE! I went home that night after spending 4 hours in the salon and $250 mortified. I went back the next day saying they needed to fix it. Unfortunately Jospeh is the only one who works there so I had to go back to him.. BIG MISTAKE.. He messed it up yet again. I was so angry and embarrassed that I spent so much time at a salon that obviously doesn't know what they are doing. Joseph also didn't see an issue with what he did which is a big red flag. I ended up receiving a refund for my hair and now have to go find someone else to do a complete color correction... All in all, do not go here. They advertise themselves as a luxury salon but obviously cant live up to those standards.

I've gotten my lips done three times at La Vie Med Spa, and I am SO incredibly happy with my results. The owner takes her time to make sure you walk out feeling more beautiful than ever, and her staff makes you feel SO comfortable. I cannot imagine going anywhere else. Thank you La Vie!!!!

I returned to La Vie for the third time. I have had fillers at 4 other businesses, including 2 dermatologists, and have been most pleased with La Vie. Ana takes her time and examines your face carefully to insure you know what is needed to get the results you want. It is a low stress experience and the outcome has been what I desired.

This was my first experience at a Med Spa, discovered on Groupon. Such a cute spot tucked away down on Rainey Street. What a hidden treasure! Anna was so kind and welcoming, taking time to discuss different options for my skin care goals and answered all of my questions patiently and with great expertise. I felt especially nurtured and appreciative of her care and good energy. Thank you. I'll definitely be back. Can't recommend them enough. :)

Visiting from Chicago and found this amazing place right by my hotel-Hotel Van Zandt as it was within walking distance. Had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Sage and it was fantastic. Very clean, elegant spa and the employees and service were so friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!

La Vie is amazing. Vick-May and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. I have been coming here for 2 years for a variety of their services and am continually impressed with their hospitality, quality of services and professionalism. 10/10 recommend!
