Cannot express how happy I am that I began seeing Taylor for my hair in April 2024. My hair looks amazing and has never been longer and healthier. I receive so many compliments on my color! Absolutely love everyone at LAB and recommend them all the time!! Alina has also absolutely blown my mind and made my over waxed 1990’s brows look full and lush again.

Let me start off by saying that I have a cosmetology mom with 40+ years of experience and I have been exposed to so many salons in the area, so I know a good salon when I see one. The Lab has truly blown me away. From the consultation process alone that I had on the phone I was given a pricing quote. Never in my life have I ever been given such transparency with pricing at a salon before even stepping foot in it. The quote I received was almost exactly what I paid when I was finished with my hair. This rarely ever happens to me. The consultation was also thorough as they asked for my hair history and truly cared to keep my hair healthy. Lindsay is incredible. I have been to so many hair stylists, none of them have ever taken the time to massage my head, ever. As a matter of fact, most of the stylists i’ve been to pawn me off for an assistant to wash my hair. That is not the case here, if you book with a stylist they are your stylist the entire time which is rare to find. I also would spend hours at other places and dread going because how packed the salons were and I would get anxious, this is not the case at The Lab. The music is good it’s not very loud, it’s a very relaxing space I love the plants and black and white aesthetic they have going on. Lindsay made my entire appointment a very luxurious experience that I fell asleep while she washed my hair and massaged my head and neck. I have also never been happy with blow outs I was given in the past, Lindsay gave me one of the best blow outs I have ever had, blew me away (literally). I would 110% recommend this salon, it is peaceful, professional, and luxurious. I cannot wait to come back for my next appointment!

This salon is so cute and modern. Gianna colored my hair and did an amazing job. Jess also did my make up and hair trial for my wedding and will be doing both for my special day. All of the staff working is super nice and welcoming. They are friendly and always have a smile on their face. Their new salon is such a vibe and is so cleanly! I love the products that they use, which led me to buying them for my own personal use. I am now a daily R+Co user! It has made my hair look and feel amazing!

The ENTIRE team is phenomenal! From booking appointments, to consultations (I've switched up my cuts and colors during the years I've been going to L.A.B.), to sitting in the chair - I truly cannot say enough about this talented group of women. Taylor is my stylist and the girl. just. gets. it. She has been able to achieve the exact blonde I wanted, always manages my expectations throughout, and keeps my needs in mind. By that I mean - yes, I always want to go lighter - but the health and integrity of my hair is more important to me. So Taylor and I talk through options, plan out my next few appointments, and build from there. If you're looking for a new salon, I *highly* recommend L.A.B. and Taylor!

This place is great. Easy to get to. Free parking. Very clean. Very modern. The staff is amazing and very attentive. You’re immediately greeted when you enter, and they are great at going over each service and the charge so there are no surprises. Taylor is my stylist and I love her. I had spied her Instagram and was very impressed with the pictures of her work. My hair is not easy to deal with. The texture isn’t the best and I’m a redhead. Well, Taylor rocks the red. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she copied it to perfection. Not all stylists can do reds. She did such a beautiful job! She added highlights and lowlights. It was just gorgeous. Great cut too! Plus - they added color block on my skin. I’m in my 40’s and all the years I’ve been getting my hair colored, that’s the very first time someone did that. They take a lot of pride in their work and Taylor is a perfectionist. She’s also a blast to be around and super kind and supportive to chat with. She’s incredible! I very highly recommend this salon and am so happy I found it!

Took my daughter to get her hair cut and colored by Taylor she spent a lot of time to give her exactly what she wanted she paid great attention to detail I would highly recommend her very professional and the salon staff is very friendly as well.

I left my previous review because I do still believe Taylor did a great job. I found it upsetting that the free product promised in the salon for reviews was not received but I left the review up because I do find it to be true. I went back for a second appointment and ended up buying a product to support her (even though I'm aware it's cheaper online) and forgave, without complaining, after hair coloring was dropped on me and stained my hoodie and pants. Then my third appointment, I called after forgetting to check in on the tunnel traffic and was told since I would be late (GPS said 7mins but I told her 20 at the worst) and I was told I could no longer receive any service. I totally understand one of the 4 services being removed & charged for due to time; however, the salon choosing to cancel my entire appointment and then charge for it is an abuse of their clients and doesn't follow their cancellation policy. I still stand by my belief that they technically did a great job with my hair color, but I will not be a client again since I can't trust the salon to honor my appointments. *Update to previous review* again.... & now the businesses responded and wants to blame me for warning them I MAY be late for three hours worth of services(blonding/smudge/cut/ and highlights).. not just a 30 minute appointment. All they had to do was cancel and charge for the single appointment instead of canceling hours worth of an appointment. & I did try to communicate with the desk that i would be fine with being charged for a single cancelled service before writing this review. & any business that is willing to place blame on a bad review instead of owning up to what happened is not demonstrating care for their clients. It was my first time there and Taylor did an amazing job correcting a less-than-amazing cut and color I had at another salon. All around good experience and I can highly recommend. ☺️

I started coming here probably about a year ago, it honestly feels like a family! Everyone is so upbeat everytime i go in. Alina tints and waxes my brows & lash extensions, she always knows exactly what I want and takes her time to make me beautiful. Darla is always up to the random chops and dyes i have for my hair and constantly brings my vision to life. No matter what I get done, i always leaving feeling like a new me❤️ LAB salon is always very accommodating and understanding in scheduling and their customer service is great. Jess is a wonderful teacher and although I haven’t had services done by any of the other ladies, I would trust any of them!

Lab is simply the best Salon I have been to ever! The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting and all of the staff is honest and professional. When I decided to get rid of some of the blond Ing in my hair and go darker, the stylist walked me through the stages to go darker and even selected at home products That will strengthen my hair. I have very fine hair and have had issues finding the right products. They did not rush me and walked me through the products they were using on my hair and how to dry and style my hair for Volume! Now, not only do I get my hair done there, but I also have gotten powder brows and go frequently for eyebrow, waxing tint and henna. Darla and Alina are my go to girls!

Simply the best. I get extensions with Jess and my brows done by Alina, but I would trust anyone here. The salon is always clean. The girls are so welcoming and always make sure you are happy with the final product. I wont go anywhere else now!

Highly skilled professionals who have quite literally worked all over the country in some of the highest end markets, and the results are proof. The salon is elegant, well-appointed and cruelty-free. I have been seeing Jess for years for styling and coloring. I was thrilled when she opened up LAB Salon! In addition to coloring and styling, I have received other services at LAB Salon that includes extensions, lash lift, waxing, and microblading. Jess even colored and cut my extensions for my wedding and the match was perfect. I received so many compliments! Every staff member at LAB is respectful, professional, and provides great service. Additionally, the salon uses R+Co products which I love and are reasonably priced. Although this salon is perfect for anyone who lives in the South Hills, I have lived in the city and now the North Hills and drive to LAB because of the service that I receive. Cannot say enough about this great salon!
