This is such a good salon!! I scheduled with Leah and she did such an amazing job. She talked through the cut I wanted and made sure we were both on the same page. Highly recommend her!! But even while I was there, the atmosphere is great. All the staff are nice and they create a welcoming environment. Water, coffee (and I think tea I can’t remember) are offered to guests as well. Love it!

Abby is an absolute wizard when it comes to color and styling! From the moment I sat in her chair, I knew I was in expert hands. She took the time to listen to me, offered creative suggestions, and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process. I have been going to Lacquer for years and every time I get my hair done by Blu, I have people complimenting me + asking who I go to!! People think my red hair is natural (it’s not), but Blu creates such rich and dimensional colors that no one can tell the difference. She is an amazing artist and I trust her 1000%, no matter what we are doing. Not only is Blu incredibly talented, she has the most beautiful energy and makes you feel welcome and safe at all times in her chair 🤍

I went in and had a haircut with Brittany and she did a horrible job. My hair not only was styled awful but my hair is super uneven looks more like what you would expect from a student. I emailed the manager Steph the same day and asked for a refund. she asked me to send pictures of my hair which I did. She told me that Brittany could do a recut to fix any problems. I emailed back saying that I didn’t feel comfortable going back and being a guinea pig for a second time because that is how I felt. She didn’t give me anything that I asked for the first time. The manager emailed me back and said that Brittany did the best job she could. And blamed my hair length and hair texture on why it was a bad haircut. And if I was interested in scheduling an appointment with her to let her know. Which I then responded that this salon has bigger problems if she thinks that’s the best job she could do after seeing my pictures. And why then would I want to go back to her if she did the best she could. This place could not only use a new hair dresser but also a new manager that knows how to talk to people and not just side with her employees. She finally did offer to have someone else cut my hair since they don’t give any refunds, but at this point I do not feel comfortable going back at all to this place. Now it makes sense why they have you sign something before coming in. Judging from most of their one star reviews I am sure i will will get a response how again it was my fault because their salon is so perfect! Look at the picture and tell me if that looks like a $75 haircut?

I’ve been seeing Vera for almost 5 years. Each time she has done my nails, she has executed them perfectly. Whether it was an idea I came to her with or a mystery-mani, she brings her creative flair whilst also providing me with structurally strong nails that hold up well enough that I could wait more than a week past the time I’d be due for a new set! Not to mention, the great conversations we always have. She is not only my nail tech but my good friend! If you’re looking for someone with pristine creative juices and a steady hand, go see Vera.

Love love LOVE this place! I go to Vera and boy is she incredibly talented and does advanced nail art very well. She is so professional and kind! I’ve been going here since 2021 after leaving a popular local franchise nail salon whose quality went down after they started popping up in shoe stores. Very inclusive place with nail techs who are personable and actually know what they’re doing. The gel mani last anywhere from 3 to even 4 weeks if you take good care of your nails, so the service is worth every penny. Strongly recommend!

I have been coming to Lacquer Hair for several years now. When my first stylist moved away, she was able to refer me to Blu, who is the perfect match for me, both with her professionalism and with her personality. I know the price point for vibrant hair color can be shocking, but you absolutely get what you pay for - Blu knows hair chemistry like nobody else, and she keeps up with professional development to learn new techniques to not only provide vibrant hair color, but also to preserve your hair health. Trust me - my hair has been literally every color of the rainbow, and it’s still soft and silky. All of the staff I have interacted with at Lacquer have been warm and welcoming, and it seems like they really enjoy working with and learning from each other. I’m so glad I found my hair home at Lacquer. ❤️

I have been seeing Blu for all of my hair dreams and needs for almost 2 years now. I truly have never had a stylist who works with me like they do. She is honest with me and helps keep my hair healthy but also hypes me up for different colors or cuts. We’ve done it all together and each appointment I find myself saying, “No- this is my favorite style!” only to say it again the next appointment. Blu is a fantastic stylist and an even better human. I always leave looking AND feeling my best. Cannot recommend them more for all your hair dreams- especially if you’re fantasy color folk!!

I have had some terrible experiences getting my nails done to the point that I stopped going for years. Lacquer gallery feels like a safe space and I alway feel comfortable there. Bridge is so nice and he always does an amazing job with my manicures. I won’t go anywhere else now!

Lacquer is my go-to for everything self care, but especially when it comes to getting my hair done. Blu has been doing my hair since November 2023 and is the first person to ever color my hair; and the only one I trust to bring my red-head vision to life. Blu never fails to make me feel confident, empowered, and comfortable. I had a basic haircut appointment with Blu Botts. I was very nervous as I have curly hair and haven’t had good experiences with hairdressers in the past (I mentioned to them over instagram that I have curly hair and they did not make any objections before I booked, either), but I was reassured that they knew how to cut my hair. I asked for a lot of layers, but they basically only cut my bangs and the ends of my hair, despite me showing them pictures of the kind of haircut I wanted. I felt patronized by them during the appointment. At some point we discussed color, and they said that I probably wouldn’t be able to afford their prices, so I should probably come back when I have more money. They had no reason to assume that I couldn’t afford their prices. Their pricing, while not cheap, is absolutely fair, but it is not their place to declare whether or not I can afford something. They didn’t seem enthusiastic at all to work with me. I was upfront with them (over instagram and in person) that I have a history of dying my hair with black box dye, which would make it difficult and expensive to work with, but they didn’t have to make a personal dig at me to get the point across. I was stressed out basically the entire time I was in the chair, partially because of my own hairdresser anxiety, and partially because the way they spoke to me was so backhanded. They said they didn’t put many layers in my hair so I wasn’t “shocked by the change in my appearance.” (Why would I go to a hairdresser if not to change my appearance? I showed them pictures of how I wanted my hair to look, and they did not achieve it at all.) I left with limp, frizzy curls that looked basically exactly the same as when I came in (except for the bangs, which, to be fair, do look pretty good).

Ive been to Lacquer for nails and hair. I got my hair dyed a bright color that required lightening for the very first time and I am very happy it was done here. Don’t get me wrong. They’re expensive as hell. They are 100% worth it. What they do is art. Every person I’ve worked with has made me feel so safe and comfortable. Immaculate energy in the shop. I ask tons of questions and they responded thoroughly and with patience. I had Leah do my color and cut and she was absolutely amazing!
