Had grown my hair over the corse of years and when a funeral come up I went here because it was highly recommended and had seen good work for this shop but when they cut my hair they ignored my cowlick and a natural part my hair has after going back in an attempt to fix it they could not after the first person had cut it extremely short . Nothing like having shoulder length hair spending more on a haircut then you ever have in your life then having to shave your head to get it looking decent

I was initially super happy to have found this barbershop. I am new to Morgantown and was worried about finding a new barber. The shop has a great vibe and Cody is an artist. But the appointment system just does not work, and if you have a schedule or have a job, it typically will not work and save yourself the wait. Two times I have had to leave after making an appointment days in advance and showing up early.

I've been going to Ladies and Gents for 6 months now. I have only used the Gents side, so this review will mostly focus on that. The shop is easy to find in a good location with convenient parking. The shop design has a nice retro vibe, but the tools and equipment are state of the art. The barbers who work there are absolute craftsmen. They are skilled at what they do and take pride in their work. They work together as a team, teaching and learning from each other to make a great customer experience. The staff is diverse and diverse in their skills and experience. They have a haircut or style for everyone. The prices are reasonable and commiserate with the service that you get here. 10/10 highly recommend.

My 3 years of living in Morgantown, I’ve went to every barber in town and walked out with a messed up haircut. I gave this place a try yesterday and had Skyler cut my hair and lemme tell ya, It’s hands down the best hair cut I have ever had. I never even knew I could get a haircut this good. He literally went above and beyond and is the best barber I have ever met. He’s extremely likable and very easy to talk to. I usually am the one trying to make the barber speak but he talks to you like you’ve known each other for years. Save your time and just go here and ask for him! Thank me later! I just took my two year old here for the first time. Not only did they squeeze me in last minute, they also were extremely friendly and laid back. Skyler did an amazing job on my toddlers hair. He did exactly what I asked and took his time as well. 10/10 will definitely be back!

I inadvertently missed my appointment, not once but twice and I still was welcomed back. Unbelievable. Multiple services by two different stylists, and watching a third, all of them superior. And I have hair that takes over North America if you don’t keep ahead of it. Thick, coarse, curly and fast-growing, it is a nightmare in need of an exorcism. I will only go here if I have to swim from a distant country. Totally reasonable, on time, comfortable, gorgeous shop where you just melt into the scene and something I actually look forward to, for real.

I moved to WV last year and have been looking for a dedicated barber. I’ve been trying a few places the past few months but it was Brad at Ladies and Gents that sold me here. Their website didn’t specify the need for an appointment so I swung by after work for a walk-in. Brad got me in as soon as another appointment didn’t show and got me a great cut in a matter of minutes. I think I found my barber!

I am choosing to post this anonymously to avoid potential harassment. In all honesty, this barbershop is not all that impressive from what you can find at another shop. The reviews are really misleading. From the start, the waiting seats are made up of wooden church booths that are quite uncomfortable to sit in over long periods of time. Personal space isn’t really promoted with the seating arrangement. Service-wise, the shop lacks several services you can find at other barber shops. If you want something advanced, look elsewhere. The guy for walk-ins, Brad, while kind, is not the greatest image for the shop. The haircut I received from him was subpar, and I had to constantly hawk him to make sure he was cutting my hair correctly. Furthermore, his open use of dipping in front of customers was incredibly disgusting. Based on my poor experience and what I’ve read about him here, he’s not exactly doing the shop any favors for its reputation. While I do truly think there are some redeemable barbers at this establishment, I think there’s better places to look in-town for a more private and professional experience.

Went there for the first time recently and Robert got an excellent hair cut from Robert. Was quick and affordable as well, so I will definitely be returning on a regular basis.
