I have thick hair so normally braids take 12-16 hours but one braider was able to install my braids in only 7 hours! Braids not painfully tight. They do use gel. They still look great at week 1

10/10 : highly recommend. I got scammed twice in a day with braiders i found via a facebook group in columbia. i found lady-d via google, called && within minutes secured an appointment. i didn’t have to pay a deposit (of which i was scammed twice earlier that day by 2 “stylists”). the shop is neat, there’s many options to chose from hair/style wise && also there’s items for purchase (hair care, skin care, accessories, etc.) i had two nice ladies working on my hair. my hair is very thick and it’s bra strap length when blown out. i was in && out within 4 hours with small knotless braids. i will be a loyal customer because the customer service was impeccable!

YES I will now only come here to get my hair braided, I came on my birthday and the shop is very clean prices are budget friendly and all the staff are very kind, the ladies braid very quickly and had no problem with my long hair, I got Small Knottless braids with boho and they made me look fabulous! Thank you so much for your wonderful work I’m getting so many compliments! You have another forever customer

I called the number several times didn’t get anyone. When she did pick up the line, she was so unprofessional smacking and chewing into the phone. I asked her did she have any appointments for my daughter she said no for each day with attitude. I never did anything to this lady so what was with the nasty attitude? She finally said she was booked the rest of the week. Professionally, she could’ve offered another date to do hair. There are other braiding shops in the area. Never been treated so rudely. Treat everyone with respect you run a public service. Without people you’re nothing!

I call the shop at 3 pm an was able to get in at 5, running late so I called them and was told to come on in,what a day they were outstanding,great place an very friendly,neat an clean I was more than happy,thanks Lady D

They do good work, expensive though. Was quoted one price and charged $100 more than I was told. But if you have $200-300 you'll be fine. Great atmosphere #still salty Also thanks for replying, you all do really good work! But to rebuttal I wasn't asked about price when I sat down. Also, the price changed from what was agree to over the phone and the time to pay with no change in style. But that's also a learning experience for me as well to double check. I considerably think that you guys would be 5 star if there was a bit more consistency from quotes to actual work.

This was my first time there. I loved the experience the staff was nice and very polite. The person who was braiding my hair asked me if I was tender-heades and was I comfortable. And my hair was beautiful. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Wow! Ms. Fama said my braided style will last 3months and wow! it still looks like new..just braided. I've never had a braided style that everybody that sees me/ my style now asks..did you just have your hair braided? My answer ..no...Ms. Fama did this back in April 2023. Thank you. Ms. FAMA

I love the hairstyle and atmosphere and ladies were nice and I would have given 5 stars but my braids have already started falling out after only 1 1|2 weeks. I called to let them know and was told that is normal and it depends on how much I sweat in my hair and I am one who does not sweat much in my hair and I said this can't be normal there is no way I would have sat for 6 hours and paid 225.00 for a style that would only last about 2 weeks. I expected my braids to last at least 4 to 6 weeks. I am disappointed and now has to get my hair braided over by someone else next week for my conference on my job. This is just my experience and I even gave out their business cards because I was so happy with my hair when I got it done. I just hate that it is not lasting as long as I would have loved it to. I feel I have paid 225.00 for a style that only is last for 2 weeks.

I was going to get my hair done here, but after reading the reviews and their response to t he reviews .. consider me out. These responses are unnecessary and unprofessional. God forbid i get my hair done, say I don’t like it.. now we got a confrontation instead of you fixing it. I’m good.

I’m so happy with my micros! They are not extremely tight and I can sleep just fine. The hair is of good quality and doesn’t itch my scalp at all. This is my second time here and I’m becoming a regular.

My daughter had an appointment for 3 pm today for knotless braids. We were informed at 2.45 that they are running behind and if she can come at 5 pm instead for knotless braids. My teenage child wouldn't be done till 11pm. Unacceptable. Bad customer service

My hair was done by Diane. Sh spent the entire 6 hrs talking in her language. I was not given what I asked for shoulder length box braids. I call Ed the next day to have them cut and her attitude turned to anger once I came in she started speaking hheheherlanguage withe STYLISTS ABOUT ME. I PAID 200 DOLLARS AND GAVE HER A 10 DOLLAR TIP. These are the best braids I’ve ever had! I asked for medium, but I would consider them small. Which I’m happy about because I actually wanted small, I just didn’t want to sit there all day, but it was fast! Only took 6.5 hours and most people would take at least 9-10 hours on this many braids this size. For $250 and they are waist length. They were very professional too! I will definitely be going back.
