Josie is an artist - She has a rare gift that allows her to look at someone and know immediately the color and cut that will be the most flattering- I have gotten more compliments from her work then ever received before. Her assistant is beyond excellent. Even the gentleman who schedules my appts is positive, always helpful. What can I say? This is an awesome environment.and I look forward to seeing them every two months! P

I always enjoy receiving a haircut at Laicale. I have been coming here since 2007, so almost 18 years now, I haven't received a haircut at another location in that timeframe, and I am always happy and satisfied with the service that is provided to me. I feel like a King when I come to this location. I also feel like it's the best Hair Salon, and not just in New York, but in the World. My Hairstylist Sara is in my opinion, the best hairstylist in the World. Not only is the service provided excellent but on top of that, the staff treat you like you are royalty. I would highly recommend both Laicale and Sara and give it a full Five Stars. I will always be loyal to this location and Sara.

I've been going to Laicale in Soho for almost 20 yrs. It's the only place in NYC I will let touch my hair. I love my stylist's work & he is worth every penny. I never have to worry - the cut looks great every time & it grows out beautifully. Beautiful space, professional staff - highly recommend.

This is a restaurant for adults with an appreciation of fine French cuisine and style. The menu may be limited, but its quality and the grace with which it is served is not. Hard to find dining like this.

I just moved here and tried out LAICALE. I can see why they’re so highly rated. The prices were decent compared to everywhere else I called and the people are excellent. I get compliments on my cut and color everywhere I go.

Ein sehr freundlicher und professioneller Friseur Laden, das Ambiente ist modern und stylisch. Wir kamen ohne Termin zu einem Blow-out und wurden sofort wärmstens in Empfang genommen und bedient. Alles in allem war es ein super angenehmes und entspanntes Erlebnis. Wir kommen definitiv nochmal vorbei solange wir im Urlaub sind. Preis/Leistung alles spitze. Empfehlenswert

Its a great day when I have my hair cut, colored and/styled with Takako at Laicale. The salon has been my only go to for about 105years. If I am away for an extended period of time, I will wait to come back to NY to have an appointment at Laicale.

Had a terrible experience here. Their equipment is old. Their electric razor cut the back of my neck pretty bad. They didn't say anything (found out when I got home and my wife saw it). Also for these high prices there are much better places in the City imo.

Laicale is the best salon and I have been coming here for 15+ years now, even after I left NY and moved to the west coast. Sara, who is my hair stylist, is so talented that I will wait to come back to get my haircut by her. Every time she does an amazing job and I have never been disappointed. I always get compliments on my haircuts because of her incredible skills! I cannot think of getting my hair done anywhere else. Thank you Sara and Laicale!

Andrea at LAICALE is out of this world amazing. She not only is talented, but is so personable, funny and nice. She is able to take my hair inspiration photos and explain to me which aspects of it are possible and how it could be done on my hair. And then she goes to work and creates magic. Each time it turns out better than I could ever imagine. On top of this, she really cares about her clients and makes them feel welcome and safe emotionally. Karina, one of the assistants is also fabulous. She is also extremely kind and gifted. LAICALE salon is also clean and bright and the front desk associates are nice and helpful. Highly recommend.

I recommend this place for the fantastic stylists Annabel and Andrea; you truly can't go wrong booking with either of them. Otherwise, this place really needs a vibe makeover. The playlist alone almost kept me from returning.
