April 2019: Just back to the UK after our 3rd stay here with Virgin Holidays. Disappointed that since our first stay in 2008, the quality of the suites has deteriorated and ours was in need of redecoration and an upgrade of furniture. The armchairs stained and the sofa bed unusable and overall I would describe it as 'grubby'. The themed swimming pool great for our grandkids and the location excellent but after 3 stays here will move on to something new. Didn't help that the upgrade I had paid for 3 months earlier was not actioned and was stuck with a smaller 3 bed, 2 bath for 7 people.

Location is good, there is lots of shopping near by but that’s about the extent of the quality here. The rooms are dated and ours had clearly not been well cleaned, if cleaned at all. There was chip crumbs on the carpet still and the sheets were too small for the bed and had rolled up off it before we had even arrived, in addition to stains. The plates had crusty food on them still and the jacuzzi spat dirt and mould out and created a ring of dirt leaving me to decide against having a soak. The receptionists were neither polite nor helpful, the only people that were friendly at all were guest services (who work for a separate entity) and the gardeners. When you’re trying to get into your room, it will take on average 20 tries to get in and sometimes your key just won’t work at all. Receptions solution was to give us a stack of keys, which made no difference since the lock was the problem and several other guests commented on their inability to get into their rooms as well. The carpet stunk and there were hairs all over the bathroom counter still. We ended up cutting our stay there short by 3 days. It was quite disappointing as this was my first trip to Orlando from Canada and it put such a sour note on my time I wouldn’t bother returning.

Terrible experience. The room was filthy, subpar and did not meet our expectations at all. The entire apartment flooded on our last day there and we will not be returning. There are better options out there. Stay away.

me trip was great its a self service which i love. the rooms are huge! but our jacuzzi tub did work and the keys gave us a little trouble but the workers where great they could put more dishwashing soap but the maid gave me a few. it was to cold for the pool but the pizza hut was good and the convenience store was very helpful when i realized i forgot a few items

Perfect for family reunion. The suites accommodate many people with multiple bed rooms, a nice kitchen and a large livingroom and dining area. Full size refeigerator. Staff are wonderful. Rooms could use a little maintenance. Bathroom ceiling fan was LOUD, the burners on stove did not work and dish soap dispenser did not closed.

This is my family’s go to when we travel to Orlando. Great price for a resort stay near Disney. |Thank you for the upgrade!!!|I had a wonderful spa treatment with friendly staff.|Only disappointment was that the pool bar closed earlier than the posted hours. I wasn’t able to use my resort credit.

This resort has a perfect location, since there is everything you need close by. We didn't use the services that much, but every encounter was handled in a really good way. The only negative thing about the resort was the condition of our room and indoor surfaces. Resort clearly needs a soma kind of face lift or renovation. Pool area was really nice for the kids and especially the small heated pools were nice as the weather was a bit chilly during our visit.

We come to the Orlando area yearly and this was our first stay at LBV Resort. We reserved a 4 bedroom standard for 9 days for a cost of just over $3400. We were able to check in about 90 minutes early and the parking was ample and getting into our room easy. The room was HUGE. We had a large balcony across the entire back of our space the overlooked a nice looking pool area. We had 4 bedrooms (including 2 masters). We had 4 full bathrooms and a huge living/dining space + a smaller kitchen. The 2 couches in the living room appeared to be from a 1990’s college dorm room. With sagging mattresses/cushions etc. the only way to get ANY use from the fold out bed was to stack BOTH sofas mattresses on top of the cushions to sleep. The carpet was quite dirty in appearance. The very large kitchen table was also clearly old with dings/scratches/missing finish nearly everywhere you looked. The beds appeared fine until our mattress cover came off our daughter’s bed one night. It appeared to had been peed on several times. The other beds were very similar. At this point (maybe day 2?) we started looking for other resorts to house the 9 of us staying here but as it was over Christmas break everything we looked at was booked. We resigned ourselves to what we had found. We had overflowing toilets twice (middle of the night unfortunately both times) that thankfully we fixed ourselves - but the water marks on the old Hallway carpet made me think this had happened before. Very few utensils in the kitchen. No oven pans to cook on (we had to buy some to use) - broken/dirty/very few utensils. Dish washer soap to do 1 load of dishes (we had to buy more) - a very small bottle of dish soap (lasted 2 days) so again had to buy more. Enough TP to get through 2-3 days - were told we had to buy our own when we asked for any of it to be replenished. I was surprised that with the cost of this resort, we got such poor/sparse amenities. We’ve stayed at both Marriott and Hilton resorts for as long (for the same cost or less) and gotten far far more. Bedroom furniture was OLD and tattered. Drawers didn’t close all the way - holes in the wicker. Dirty curtains…. Not at all what I’d expect for this amount of money. We were on the top floor but every single night heard people running/walking/pounding above us. I think that was the weirdest/worst part (maybe the appearance of peed on beds were…) hearing loud noises overnight. My kids and dad heard it too - no clue what goes on on the roof at night but man… Also - when checking in, they send you over to a counter to get a “welcome packet”. At this desk, they told me “well the way you booked this, you’re going to have a little sales presentation just yo on the 3rd floor for a vacation club”. They offered $120 visa gift card for our time…. And asked several times when we could schedule it. I told them we were going to beaches and theme parks and my husband told them WE would call them. Nearly daily, they called the room to schedule this sales pitch. I told them we didn’t want to vacation there again. The called more. I stopped answering the phone. We left a day early and won’t go back.

Good family accommodation. Clean. Accessible location. Equipped with essentials. Outlets close too. The review is based on 3 adults 2 children. Living room furniture was not the most comfortable. Reviewed last week of December and first of January

Zeer positief, voor een schappelijke prijs, een mooie accomodatie in een leuke, gezellige en veilige omgeving. Mooie ruime kamers, heerlijke bedden en elke ruimte voorzien van een smart tv en eigen badkamer. Personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een mooi zwembad en meerdere bubbelbaden (tot 22.00 uur open). In de gym zijn gratis handdoekjes verkrijgbaar (zeer handig). Alles binnen handbereik. Aan de overkant is een leuke outlet, waar je gezellig kunt winkelen. Op 5 minuten afstand een supermarkt(Walmart) met schappelijke prijzen en overal vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Echt een perfecte uitvalbasis: Disneyworld, andere pretparken, Cape Ceneveral, strand en een echte aanrader is Crystal River. Miami ligt overigens op 3,5 uur rijden. Klein minpuntje vond ik het tapijt bij de lift. Daar hing soms een muffe geur. Maar ja, je moet als Nederlander toch iets hebben om over te kunnen zeuren 😉 Ik wil dit hotel graag aan iedereen aanbevelen. Wij komen zeker nog een keer terug!

Multiple entrances key readers didn’t work, forcing guests to walk to other entrances for a few days. Nice pool, primarily for kids over 5. Extra charge for housekeeping during a 5 day stay was surprising. Didn’t seem like we should have to ask for more toilet paper or trash bags under normal circumstances.

Our water was barely warm, we had to call three times before someone came, the man was nice but basically told us "that's just the way it is." One room was blasting music all night, woke my wife up at 3:30am. Our door handle for our room fell off. The door to outside from the building had a defective card reader, so you had to wait for someone exiting or force the doors open. The female bartender at the pool bar was WASTED. The jets in the tub in the bedroom spit out copious amounts of scum and hair, the tub was unusable because of this. The room size was great, and I loved a lot of the room and hotels features. It just felt like the place had a nice facade but it falling apart behind the scenes.

Overall, our trip was wonderful, but as other reviews have said, the condos are old and could use some refurbishment. Our mattress had large body divots, one toilet, and the washing machine were leaking water on the floor, and the front panel fell off the dishwasher, but those are all minor Compared to the two things I want to make known for future visitors. The most important thing was they listed free shuttle service to the Disney parks. Each day there is one shuttle that goes back-and-forth to either the Magic Kingdom or Epcot. Both drop off and pick up times are incredibly inconvenient meaning dropping off at 7 o’clock in the morning and picking up at 5:30 at night. Needless to say we did not use the shuttle and chose to drive And pay the parking which was an unexpected expense when we were planning to use the shuttle daily. The other important item to note was the lack of necessary, cooking tools in the listed completely stocked kitchen. One cookie tray, no thermometer, lack of a cooking spoon, spatula, rubber scraper, leftover storage dishes was very inconvenient when trying to cook for a family of six. The kitchen is set up for very basic needs like frozen pizza.

The property itself was a bit dated, but the room size and amenities more than made up for it. Our group of six stayed comfortably in one room, and the balcony was a great bonus. The soaker bathtub was definitely the highlight—it made the stay feel extra relaxing. A great option for families or groups!

The suite was great with everything to feel at home. The beds were comfortable and so was the couch. The only thing we had problems with was the television not having a guide to know and change the channel. But, it was not really a big deal. Just an inconvenience
