Went there to get underarms waxed and the experience was not great. There was only one person working there so they were in rush doing it. Kept making comments on how much hair I had ( obviously that’s why I’m here). Did not even care to trim hair before and just put powder on top when done. No oils no nothing. Results the waxing was not clean and it is irritated and I had to take care of it myself. A

Today was my first day walking in there, Parul did my eyebrows, She was really nice and I love how my eyebrows came out. 🥰 I recommend and will be coming back. 😊😊

Went in for eyebrow threading and tinting. They did a decent job of that however their attitude was very uncomfortable. First of all, they asked me to move my stuff multiple times during my appointment to accommodate other clients, and I also had to move to different seats too. I don’t mind doing it and could understand but the way they asked was very uncomfortable - ‘move your stuff’ ‘go move to this chair’. When checking out they wanted me to pay cash but I didn’t have any so I paid using my card and signed my tip. They then asked me to scratch the tip and Venmo them the tip instead and warned me to not say tip but say something like food instead on the Venmo. I said sure and tried to do that but my Venmo was not working that day so I asked if I could just stick to giving tip using card. They said sure and I then re-signed the tip on the bill. When I about to leave the store and at the door, they stopped me and said ‘ where is your tip I don’t see it’, so I turned around and pointed to them where the tip amount was on the bill. They then let me leave. The whole experience was very stressful having to get up multiple times while I had treatment on, being asked to give money certain way and getting stopped at the door cuz they thought I didn’t give them tip.

The service is really good and probably one of the best in Chicago.Only thing that ticked me off was when asking for prices of particular service,one of the staff suggests to visit website and check the price.If I am at the salon and have a normal question I hope I am not wrong to expect a straight answer instead of attitude/smirk from the staff.Apart from this best place for threading services

Amazing threading experience. My first time getting my brows threaded and the ladies were all kind and very reassuring. My threading tech was amazing, got it done so quickly and effortlessly. It did hurt a bit but nothing like what I was expecting. This place is amazing for threading! Will always come back.

BEST IN CHICAGO! This is the BEST threading salon in Chicago! I have been going to Lakeview threading for 3 years and there is no comparison! The women here are so kind and treat me like family! My eyebrows have never looked better! They are so fast and efficient; I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

I’ve gotten a lash lift several times (as well as eyebrow and lip threading), and every time it has been excellent. Their professionals are very gentle and never cause my eyelids to burn (only place I’ve had a painless experience!). It is also much more affordable than any other salon I’ve been to. Love the people here and the service they provide is top-tier. Thank you!

Update: They are still great years later! I've recently tried waxing with them. It was super quick and not too painful. I recommend bringing cash to pay! -- Wow! Amazing service from the minute you walk in. I got my eyebrows done after one year of not touching them. And they completely shaped my face with just doing my eyebrows. They were really quick. And after my eyebrows were done, the head of the shop sat me down to perfect them even more. Both of the women did a great job. I am amazed at how kind and friendly their service was. Don't hesitate to visit them!

Excellent salon. They always do such a great job, and so professional. Except: One of the younger girls, that I think is a recent addition, talks incessantly and distracts others who are doing eyebrows. She talks the entire time, to the point she gives me a headache. It’s so distracting and so annoying. I hate going there because she just can’t stop talking. No offense, but this is so unprofessional! Please be respectful when others are doing work! And be respectful of your clients!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Clean, great service, genuine care. Ever since I've come here, I have not allowed anyone else near my eyebrows! Pratima is great at what she does. She really takes her time and is SO precise. I'm so thankful I found this salon and recommend to ANYONE and EVERYONE looking for quality salon services!!!!

I would highly recommend this salon! The stylists are very friendly and professional. They do an amazing job at all the services they provide…especially eyebrow threading. The salon is very clean. They also do natural henna tattoos whose colors turn out brightly the next day.

UPDATE: They’re all fantastic, including Vaishali and Pratima. Sejal is incredible! I finished up with my haircut a few blocks away and walked over in the opposite direction of where I live in a downpour. Once I got here, she called me around and listened to what I wanted, and ensured that I was in good hands. I’ve been getting threaded for 10 years; it hurts, but not here. I’ll continue to visit this location as long as I live in Lakeview.
