LaLa is the absolute best! She has an affable demeanor that puts you right at ease. I loved her new, centrally located studio in Queen Anne/Downtown area right off of 99. My favorite thing about Lauren is that she doesn't do too much. I have long curls, and she's always understood that's how I want to keep them. My hair is refreshed and looking just how I like them.

My mom suffers from Alzheimer’s and getting her haircut has been a real challenge. I have been trying for almost a year to get her to cut her hair, but she has always refused because it causes her anxiety. I was able to get an appointment with Lauren, and she was so kind, patient, and made my mom feel comfortable, and my mom excepted the haircut and is, so happy and says that it’s one of the best she’s ever had! I am so grateful to Lauren for her kindness and understanding!

Highly recommended! TLDR: Lauren knows what she is doing when it comes to hair and makeup. She is versatile in her style, a total pro, and you’ll leave feeling like you just had a visit with a best friend. I went to Lauren for a few years when she first started doing hair, and I loved it then. Not is she be your best hype woman she is a total pro. Now after returning to the state after an 11 year hiatus I booked an appointment first thing. Color: she flawlessly matched my last color and updated it just the way I asked. She took into consideration time between appointments as well. She put purple in my hair and the color is still going strong weeks later. Plus it’s so shiny. Cut: I’ve always loved her cuts, and as I often change my length and style she has always impressed me vs. others who seem stuck to one style. Also my hair went from stick straight to wavy after pregnancy, and I always walk out with plenty of bounce. Makeup: She did on site makeup for me at my wedding years ago, she met my concept needs and was a dream to have there on that day. Also, upon return from island life I needed a day to day makeup refresh for my mature skin. She went above and beyond helping me to select new product and did a full personalized application/tutorial. I will def use this service again for other looks or events.

My experience here was amazing! I've had a hard time getting short haircuts. I'm trans, so often when I ask for mens cut (even with photos) previous stylists never went short enough or didnt follow through. Lala was amazing and listened to me when I said how short I wanted it. She followed the photos perfectly and gave me the modern men's cut I've always wanted. The environment is very calm and you don't feel rushed at all. She's lgtbqia+ friendly and made me feel like I was respected and listened to. Lalascuts is now my main stylist and I'll be bringing my family here too! Awesome place, highly recommend you stop by

Easily one of the best salon experiences I’ve had. Lauren was so kind, genuine, and accommodating. Great conversation the whole time. Not the typical salon small-talk. (: She took one look at my reference photo and asked clarifying questions about my preference to make sure she’d get it right. Also asked me at several times during the cut how I was feeling about what I saw so far. I am so happy with the cut! She did a wonderful job and it came out even better than I hoped. I wear hijab and it is sometimes hard to find a salon to accommodate my need for privacy. Before my appointment, Lauren took the time to reassure me that my needs would be respected. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a private salon experience!

I have been going to Lauren for a few years now! I found her initially when I was searching for someone who could do a color correction for me. She has the experience and knows exactly what she is doing so I always feel confident and at ease. She also stays up to date with industry standards and techniques. I totally trust Lauren with my hair and I highly recommend her!

Lauren has a great sense of style AND she is awesome with my 2.5- and 5-year-olds. They actually ask for haircuts and are happy to go. Her space also looks great and is very comfortable.

Lauren went out of her way to make sure I found the place and was comfortable when I arrived (there was a can of La Croix waiting for me at my chair!). I had a tricky request: to fill in roots...with highlights...without breaking the bank or having me there for hours. She came up with a creative solution and did a really great job matching the color (even though it was done somewhere else) and blending the highlights. I also enjoyed her company, her adorable shop, and I would trust her to do my hair again. Highly recommend!

Lauren is a highly skilled hairstylist. My hair is difficult to cut but she always gives me a great haircut. I trust her skills, consistent results and fashion sense completely. She's great with my men's cut, but her women's cut, color and highlight are top notch without a doubt She's the best, I'm convinced!! Im a stylist myself, in my professional opinion, I highly recommend her. Lalas Cuts is such a cute little space too, in the QA marketplace on upper queen anne. Easy parking. Wow! 5 stars!!
