Lana and her team are friendly. Been going here the past 20 years. They can help even if you don't speak chinese. But speaking chinese helps...haha.

I feel terrible at having to leave a bad review but the haircut I got was so abysmal I don’t even know where to start. For starters, I had past-shoulder length hair and gave the hairdresser some reference photos of slightly shorter layered hair. She looked at them for all of two seconds. She didn’t even wet my hair with a spray bottle like all the other salons I’ve been to in the Bay…just clipped up some hair and started hacking away (yes, I felt tugs on my scalp from the toothed scissors’ pulling). I have glasses but took them off, so I admit I should have put them on sooner to see what was happening, but I had decided to trust the process like so many times before in other salons… I walked out of there with nearly all of my hair cut off, save for some choppy “layered” strands in the back. My hair is also extra thick and straight, so the newly short and uneven strands in my fringe literally stick straight up out of my head perpendicular to my scalp. I’m appalled. It’s a shame since the hairdresser was genuinely pretty nice. The cut was already cheap, and I didn’t want to make a fuss of it lest they try and “fix” it (read: make it worse), so I just paid and left. I cannot wish enough that I never walked into there to get a haircut.

Go to spot for a haircut, great cuts and unbeatable prices and I've never had to wait as a walk in (probably my favorite part).

Great place for haircuts . No appts necessary, walkins most wait is 10 minutes. 3 different stylists always working all week from 9am-6pm. Stylists wears mask 😷 and stations are not close .

Been going here ever since I was a kid. They always take care of me and usually you don’t need an appointment, but can get busy since they are very good and affordable. Highly recommend! :)

with almost 20 bucks haircut nowadays anywhere, this place is charging half of what most salon charges. in this trying times where everything is so expensive, any savings is greatly appreciated. but parking can be a challenge

Couldn't have been better hair cutting experience, in every way. For years we have been driving by on Broadway and noticed on right just before tunnel. Should have tried it long ago, but now that I have, don't think I will ever not return regularly as well as recommend Lana and her staff to others. Thanks again Lana and staff for all your welcome, kindness, competence and excellent and friendly work . I look forward to seeing you again soon and regularly

Great place for 5 bucks. I gave a massive tip after one of the stylists spent extra time on my hair as it can get easily entangled. The lady preferred I used their shampoo and conditioner before I cleaned my hair to add volume and make it soft as skin. Great service.

I've been going to Lana's for years after my relative's son gave it a thumbs up. He is really picky as to who can cut his hair. He raved about thid place. The salon is always busy. She has a big clientele and it is best to call and make an appointment first. The walk in wait can be long. Lana is great but so are her associates. They're all professional and do an excellent job. I don't have any complaints, but I have gone without an appointment and waited my turn. They are accommodating as long as you're in the door by 6pm.

Prices are competitive and have stayed the same for a while. Some stylists do a better job than others.

Dirt cheap haircuts! They don't speak much English so if you need more than a crew cut take a picture of what you want, unless u r fluent in Cantonese.
