I recently tried SkinPen microneedling at Lapiel, and I’m honestly amazed by the results. Angelica made me feel comfortable and explained the entire process, so I knew exactly what to expect! The procedure itself was totally bearable. There was some tingling during the treatment, but it was quick, and the results were totally worth it. Afterward, my skin looked slightly red but it subsided after a few hours. In the days following the treatment, my skin began to look smoother, my complexion brighten, and my pores started to shrink. I was truly amazed how my skin looked after one treatment! I highly recommend SkinPen microneedling as it’s definitely become a new staple in my skincare routine!

I’ve been getting laser hair removal treatments from Lapiel for about 4 months and I’ve had an incredible experience. I have dark brown skin (african descent) and dark hair and I was worried about if laser was right for me. But I’m glad I went with lapiel, it has literally changed my life and the quality of my skin, especially since I deal with skin sensitivity like ingrown hairs. They use a YAG laser, which is industry standard for darker skin types. Angelica, the technician, is so sweet and welcoming. It’s such a friendly and inviting environment. It’s been such a pleasure to get more acquainted with the staff at every session.

Finally found a perfect place that is a local business. I don’t ever go to chain businesses because I don’t think the service is top-notch. Lapiel Laser Center is hands-down the best laser center in Chicago. Everyone is always very welcoming everytime I go visit. Angelica has been very thorough with the process and makes one feel very at ease. Never had a bad session with her.

I have been visiting Lapiel for years and have nothing but rave reviews! I have seen Angelica regularly for, laser hair removal, botox and laser facials and she is incredible and always makes you feel very comfortable. I also see Julie for diamond glow facials + peels which have been my secret weapon! Can't recommend Lapiel enough!!

Highly recommend Lapiel. They always provide full information about services, which are delivered with care and attention. My appointments have never been delayed, price changes, which have been very few, have been communicated in advance and they don't push to upsell. Catalina is wonderful and kind. She does a great job and is trustworthy. I would never go anywhere else.

If you’ve been considering permanent laser hair removal, you should stop considering and go to lapiel. The cost can seem daunting but it’s some of the best money I’ve ever spent. It’s permanent. It’s effective… but being humans we’re vulnerable, which makes the care provider and quality of care an important choice! I’ve been a client at lapiel for over 10 years! I’ve had many areas treated for hair removal and the results and process are both remarkable. Cat is a careful, professional; she’s kind and helpful to help you feel your best.

I used to visit this place regularly when I lived in Logan Square, and it was truly one of my favorite spots! The only reason I had to stop going was because I moved too far away—otherwise, I’d still be a loyal customer. This place is absolutely amazing! The team is not only incredibly skilled but also so kind and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. As someone with a Fitzpatrick skin type IV, I can confidently say that this is a safe and inclusive space for brown skin. They have the proper laser technology tailored to our skin type, and their expertise is unmatched. You can rest assured that you’re in AMAZING HANDS here. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Angelica is incredible. I’ve been seeing her for almost 2 years now and the results are awesome. I keep coming back for more and more areas of hair removal. She makes you very comfortable and it’s a quick process. I’ve tried other laser places in the past, but have noticeably better results coming to Lapiel.

Could not recommend enough! Lapiel is the best Med spa I have been to. I have gotten multiple sessions of laser hair removal on my armpits and bikini. Catalina Ruiz NP does an amazing job taking care of you during treatment. I have immensely enjoyed the benefits of this laser. The team is amazing and very easy to book with. Overall, great experience!

December 2024 update!! My legs are still hairless, my jaw no longer hurts, and my skin is glowing. Love you, Lapiel!! December 2023 update! Lapiel is still my favorite place! In addition to visiting Lapiel for diamond glow, peels, and laser hair removal, I started seeing Angelica for massester Botox and it has been LIFE CHANGING!!!!! I no longer wake up with a sore, clicking jaw. I used to have TMJ headaches at least 5 days/month, and haven’t had one since I’ve started treatment. Angelica took the time to educate me on the procedure and taught me about my face musculature. She assessed the size of my muscle, noted that my dominant side would require higher units, and injected a conservative (and very effective!!!!) amount of Botox. I love at Lapiel I can trust they won’t push treatments and units of Botox I don’t need. Angelica, Cat, and Julie really pay attention and customize treatments for you. Lapiel has been taking care of me for years and have continued to make my skin the best it can possibly be!!

Hello Lapiel. I have visited many times and have always been impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the practitioners. I just wanted to send appreciation for my recent diamond glow facial. Of course I left with my face looking cleaner, more radiant, and tighter. it was so relaxing and Julie did a great job. What I did not expect was the transformation on my neck! As I age, that skin has been changing in texture with a sagging crepiness, but after the diamond glow, it completely transformed my neck. I've been coming to Lapiel for years now for both Diamond Glow and chemical peel treatments, and my skin has never looked better! After trying a thousand different ways to 'fix' my problem skin, I started coming here and investing a bit more into my skincare routine rather than over-the-counter products, and it's the first time my skin has been beautiful and clear since I was fourteen. Staff is always so welcoming and they buzz me in right away on cold days, and Julie is an expert aesthetician who offers excellent skincare and treatment recommendations (and holds me accountable to take care of my skincare in-between treatments). I could not recommend Lapiel more, they're good folks and I trust them fully to do stellar work.

I’ve been coming here for over a year, receiving laser hair removal on my facial hair. Before coming here, I felt super insecure about how thick my facial hair grew in. I tried other services (waxing, threading, other first time laser consultations) but nothing compared to how effective this treatment has been, on top of how helpful and friendly staff are. It was a journey, but I can honestly say my hair has grown much thinner, or disappeared in some areas. I feel much more confident thanks to them. Special shout out to Angelica, who has provided the laser hair removal service. She has been a savior through this. Very good at explaining the treatment/service, and attentive to your needs.
