Went for the first time today along with my fiancé and saw David for a cut (+ color for me) and we have never been more happy! David was a joy to talk to and he did an amazing job on our requests. He’s truly a professional and I would recommend him to anyone needing a breath of fresh air with their hair!

I found Lather Hair Salon from rave reviews off of Nextdoor in my neighborhood. I was searching for a salon close to my home in Brier Creek. After review of their well done website, I scheduled with Katie. The staff was welcoming and the salon is cozy. It was evident staff have fun working together! Katie did an excellent job consulting with me and I felt she listened and understood my requests. Katie was patient and gentle with my hair which is thin and straight. I needed color and added in a cut while I was there which Katie was able to accommodate. I'm a senior and have had lots of salon appointments over time and I was most pleased with Katie's work. My color was spot on and my cut was detailed. My hair feels good even after several home washes. This salon is a hidden gem right off of Glenwood Ave close to Brier Creek. You can easily book from the Vagaro app which I like as I plan out my appointments for the year in advance. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

I got a haircut here today and its not what I asked for, the lady that cut my hair didn’t stop to ask once if it was looking good. It wasn’t till she was done that I saw that my hair looks like someone just went and just chopped away, the sides look fine but the top she cut way shorter then I asked I would have said something if I could actually see myself in the mirror during the process but I was put at a angle where i couldn’t see. Just dont come here if you are a dude looking for a cut, i mean you’ll definitely get cut alright.

I got a too-short haircut at another salon, my usual, but my stylist didn't understand what I wanted and proceeded to give me a haircut about 1.5 inches shorter than I wanted when trying to fix it. I made an appointment with Charlene W. at Lather Salon, and she was sooooooo amazing. I told her what happened and said what I wanted (same words as to the other stylist) and she knew exactly what was up. Charlene fixed my hair and I LOVE MY HAIR NOW. She's definitely my new stylist. The reason there is 1 star off is because the last time I made an appointment at Lather, it was in 2018. I was rescheduled not once, but twice. So I thought, never again. I'm glad I was desperate to try Lather again. But only Charlene from now on. THANK YOU, Charlene!!!!

I saw Katie Black for a highlight/low light as I had grown out roots and was looking for some dimension. She is a dimension specialist and did an amazing job. Our consultation was easygoing and she didnt hesitate to provide a great solution for me. She is my go to girl moving forward. She is kind and very efficient with her time and skill. So grateful to have found her and highly recommend her to anyone.

Katie was so professional! It was reassuring having a stylist who is so knowledgeable in her field! Her quality and attention to detail allowed her to make my haircut perfect for my demanding expectations of performance. David went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and I am throughly happy with their customer service. I’ve been to all the top salons in the area and often explore new venues to recommend to my luxury clientele. This will be my go to recommendation from now on! Great job guys keep it up.

This team is exceptional! They have a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and it is so much fun! I have to give a special shout out to Katie. I had stopped working with a stylist months before, so I came in with 3 months of untrimmed hair. I also had an idea of what I wanted and showed her pictures from my past. She reviewed and delivered EXACTLY what I was looking for. I am looking forward to many future collaborations with this artist! I am extremely happy with what she provided! You owe it to yourself to visit these folks and look forward the most beautiful you!

Cassie Jo is the best stylist I’ve ever worked with, and as someone with naturally curly hair, I’ve worked with a lot trying to find one who genuinely cares for their client and KNOWS how to cut curly hair the right way, but can also provide quality color services, and Cass checks all the boxes. She even taught me how to style my bangs when I was struggling to, and sent me home with a list of everything she taught me. I always have a good time and get up from her chair happy, highly recommend

Found Cassie Jo through her amazing social media pictures and was able to talk with her about my wants and realistic achievable goals. She knows her stuff and I keep going back. I get compliments on my hair color daily and have already sent my sister to her as a referral. The Salon itself is wonderful, the staff is always warm and checks in on you during your service. They don't try to upsell you anything and they have a great environment.

I have been going to lather salon for almost 10 years, and I've been seeing Jess for the past 3 at least. Jess always starts on time, I've never had to reschedule, and she's always been able to accomplish the goal I'm looking for with my hair. I'm a natural dirty blonde (with fairly thin hair) and I like to keep it an icy blonde: Jess has been able to maintain my hair and gives me excellent recommendations for in-salon hair treatments and products for home use. Jess also cuts my 8 year old daughter's hair and my daughter is always super happy with her cut. I can't recommend Lather Hair Salon and Jess enough!

Jessica is amazing. She has been transforming my hair since I started working with her years ago. Not only is she an amazing artist and designer...she also an an amazing human. My experience at Lather Hair has always been the best especially with hairstylist Cassie who always gets me right! Been in 4 times to get my hair ombré and every time she does an exceptional job. The place itself is nice & cozy and the hairstylist really know how to make you feel at home. Last visit I went in to change my hair to blue and lets say the images speak for themselves! This is definitely the place to visit!
