I went there for the first time this week. I was a walk in and was greeted very professionally and with a smile (rare in today’s environment). I inquired on the services and the owner took the time to explain the procedure. It took a couple minutes for her to set up and off to the back I went. Environment The environment was simple and tasteful. Very clean on the inside and had a welcoming feel. There was an absolute treasure of a playlist going that had me beaming with glee. Also the volume was at the perfect level, we could converse, I could hear my thoughts, and still hear it enough to enjoy every song. For me this is crucial because often times music is so loud nothing else can be done. I loved the music and volume here. Customer service As stated above the owner was VERY personable and friendly . She exuded a warm demeanor and smiled all the time. It’s a rarity to be greeted with such pleasantries. Service I got a facial with Beard care. Here is where I struggle not because there was anything wrong but I fell asleep a couple of times because I was so relaxed. The “bed” I was on was super comfortable. The procedure itself was also relaxing. Overall- I have found my new place to get my facials and will go back at least monthly.

I thought long and hard about leaving this review because she is a black-owned business but everyday I look at my brow and have to draw on where she botched, it’s frustrating. I don’t want anyone to go through this as I know how eyebrows are so important in framing our faces. I believe it was the owner that did my brows. She is not a threader and should never offer this service. I went to Latris studio for eyebrow threading about 3 weeks ago. I didn’t see it on the list of services but when I asked, was told they offer eyebrow threading. I went in my for my appointment and when she started, she kept breaking the thread before even starting. I was feeling apprehensive because usually, threading is pretty straightforward. She continued and seemed to have a flow going but I could tell she wasn’t experienced. I hoped for the best and when she was “done” with one brow, gave me a mirror to have a look. To say it was horrible is an understatement. She had taken off hair in the middle of my brow and essentially botched my brow. I let her know I was not happy and this was bad. She was apologetic for “not being able to help” and I left. I’m not sure of her other services, this review is only for what I got done - eyebrow threading. So if you love your brows, this is not the place to get them threaded.

This place is a gem! Had my first of many facials yesterday. My face skin looks amazing! I took my mom for the Mothers Day promotion. At first she was hesitant and not agreeable afterwards; until she saw a significant improvement. She asked me to book an appointment with me for next month. Mel and Candace are knowledgeable and professional! I can’t believe I’m just now finding this location literally in my back yard!

Yesterday, I decided to have a spa day. After getting my nails done two doors down, my nail tech suggested I stop in to get a flyer and try the services at Latris Skin Studio. My experience there from the time I entered the building until leaving was absolutely superb! I was greeted quickly and offered an express facial. The information I learned about my skin and how to correct my problem areas were on point! This will definitely be a monthly add for me!

You must go to Latris Skin Studio. Once you enter the door, you will be treated like royalty. I booked full body- half leg wax. Mel did my Brazilian and underarm wax. Mel was great. Candace waxed my half leg. My legs were so smooth. I will book a facial soon. Treat yourself at Latris!
