Had my first appointment with Laura today and wish I had heard about her sooner. I had a really bad A-line bob haircut and Laura turned it into the beautiful, even, precise haircut that I wanted. I feel this is the best haircut I have had since I have lived here in Colorado Springs. Everything you read in the reviews is true. She is very professional and kind, she explained what she was doing the entire time she was cutting my hair, she also kept everything spotless before and after my appointment. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. She truly knows how to cut hair no matter what the texture and style is.

I just moved here and Laura came highly recommended by countless women in my new community. I now understand why they rave about her. She gave me what I think is the best haircut of my life. She is warm, kind, and is really just a gem. Her salon is clean and comfortable. She uses ecologically responsible products, which I love. I am so glad to have found someone to take care of my curls.

Laura is THEE best I have ever been to. I showed her a reference photo and she literally pulled up the stylist to show me other cuts by him; it’s so inspiring how much time and love she puts into her work. She gives beautiful results in an extremely loving and welcoming environment. All of her reviews speak for themselves. I will never go to anyone else again.

Good vibes all around! This was my first haircut with Laura and certainly not the last. I had very long, heavy hair and she gave me a much needed & wanted transformation. Laura's technique, kindness, and expertise is top notch and she made me feel like a million bucks. I am so happy with my experience and highly recommend. 5+ stars without a doubt!

I am so happy to have found Laura!! I've been searching for a new hair stylist since I moved to the area almost three years ago. Her salon is cozy, comfortable, and a great atmosphere! She knows her stuff! I came to her with a somewhat crazy change in color and she was able to provide me with a better mix than I could ever imagine!

I had two hair services with Laura Allen in past two months an both times it was amazing! Don’t really remember when last time my hair looked so healthy and color was like I was born with it. So happy I found Laura and definitely will be returning client. Hair studio is super clean and nice.

I highly recommend Laura if you need a new color done to your hair. I have natural dark brown hair and have dyed it with highlights for a really long time that the blonde stuck in my hair. Laura changed my hair back to brunette long story short the first try didn’t work the first time so she didn’t let me leave until she had it right. She was able to get the blonde out with the next color she added. I loved how she didn’t give up and she didn’t let me leave her chair until I was satisfied.

I recently moved to Colorado Springs from California and had no clue I would be lucky enough to find such a great hair stylist and friend. Laura Allen is an amazing and devoted professional in what she does. She makes sure you leave happy and loving your new look. Laura not only took the extra time to make sure the color I wanted would work with my hair, but she also made my time in her studio fun and pleasant. We talked and laughed though the whole process. She is amazing!

It’s always a little overwhelming and scary to have to find a new hairdresser every time you PCS. I found Laura while looking for recommendations on the local wives pages. Not only is she incredibly personable and easy to talk to, she is an OUTSTANDING hairdresser. She listens, assesses, and explains why she is doing what she is doing. 10/10! Book with her, you’re going to love her!!!

Laura and Clay Josh did hair and make up for my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother in law, and me for my wedding. They were amazing, from the first bridal consultation to the final hugs and well wishes before I walked down the aisle - I cannot thank them enough for the care and attention to detail they gave on my wedding day. Everyone commented on how awesome my hair and make up looked, AND how well it held up after the whole night was over. I felt beautiful the whole time, and I have them to thank for it. They both went absolutely above and beyond on the big day. They rolled with the punches so effortlessly, it made getting ready so easy. At one point my husband accidentally cut himself shaving while getting ready, and Clay Josh swooped in with a little concealer to save the day. Laura also whipped up a really cool flower crown braid for our flower girl at the last minute! My bridesmaids looked amazing. We all cried happy tears and then danced all night. And when we took selfies at the end of the night - our hair and make up held up so well, you'd have no idea we'd been out all day/night. Laura and Clay Josh approached each person as an individual making sure they had the look that would enhance their already natural beauty. 100% recommend both of them for event hair/make-up, and also for everyday looks. Love these guys, they'll always be a part of the wedding day memories.

Laura gave me the first wonderful haircut I’ve had in years. She was happy to email with me before I even booked an appointment. When I walked in, she knew exactly where I’d gotten my inspiration pictures and had a good grasp of what I was looking for. She made recommendations, taking into consideration my hair and face, and she took a great deal of time and care. I have fine hair and so often I get so-so cuts, but Laura was incredibly precise and deliberate. She also gave great advice about upkeep.

Laura is absolutely fabulous! I never understood the idea of enjoying to go to the salon before seeing her! Such a comfortable atmosphere and she does amazing work. I feel like a new woman every time I get out of her chair! I can't wait for my next visit.

Laura is someone you can trust. I have long dark brown hair that I cherish and love. Laura is the one stylist that has cherished and loved my hair more the me! She cuts my hair perfectly... Every. Single. Time. Plus she really listens to my ideas and concerns to create a beautiful masterpiece. Reciently she touched up my color with (highlights?) and it’s given my hair life. I feel young and beautiful again!! I even had some scalp dryness I was struggling with (Colorado is so dry!!) and my scalp can finally breath. I would strongly recommend Laura.

Oh she was so great!! I have never had shorter hair so I was super nervous for this cut! But Laura really made me feel confident as she was cutting my hair. She made sure I felt comfortable on what she was doing. Now I just love my hair!!

WOW! I am beyond impressed with the skills and ability of Laura. Today was the first time in YEARS that I have walked out of a salon feeling 100% satisfied with my hair and with the customer service. What a joy to spend the afternoon in exception hands and chatting away with like old friends with Laura and Clay Josh.

Laura is a fantastic hairstylist and cool human being! If you have textured hair, she’s the one to see in Colorado Springs! It’s important to me to have a stylist who is consistently learning new techniques and learning how to work with different textured hair, and Laura does that! She wants your hair to be the healthiest it possibly can be and will recommend a plan to get to your goal hair while still keeping it healthy! I’ve had many hair stylists over the years and she has been the best one to cut my curly hair so it looks great leaving it curly but also looks great when I decide to straighten it. So glad I stumbled upon her Facebook page and found her! ♥️

Laura is amazing!! I have never been to a salon before because I have super curly hair and was afraid it would get messed up. HOWEVER, I went to Laura originally for a hair styling and because she took great care of my hair I went to her for some face framing layers (which she recommended) And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. She has such good skill with curly hair, she knew exactly how to cut it. She’s super sweet and explained everything she was doing and going to do prior to starting. So if you have curly hair, hands down, you NEED to go to Laura! And her prices are great!

When I went to see Laura I was concerned about breakage in certain areas of my hair. Laura took the time to get to know my hair and helped me understand what was happening with it. She brought my hair back to a healthy state and shaped it so that I would have more volume in the areas that needed it! I highly recommend Laura, especially if you want a tailored experience with a true artist!

literally just left and couldnt wait to post a review. wow! just wow! my hair has been brought back from the dead! its gorgeous, everything I hoped for and more!! and what a pleasant young woman! it was like hanging out with a friend, a really good friend with amazing hair skills. cant wait to come back to her ♡♡
