A beautiful & efficiently run spa! Everyone who works there is so courteous and friendly. I had permanent makeup performed. Laura is very knowledgable about her art. She was able to correct someone mistakes of a prior tattoo eyebrow job that I had. The colors she picked for my brows & eyeliner were perfect, and The procedure is virtually painless. I was very pleased with my entire procedure, and I highly recommend Laura to you.

Laura and her assistant JJ are just fantastic! Laura is very patient, and explains the procedure in great detail, with step-by-step explanation throughout the procedure. Laura's mannerisms and follow-up show how much she truly cares about each individual.. I am extremely happy with the outcome and will be returning in the future. Laura initially did a good job but when she says she gives 1 touch up in a year, she is lying. Then trys to blame the customer. Just be careful using them and make sure its right when you leave or you will be paying again as they do not stand by their word! As you can see from her response she is trying to blame me. I called Sept 25, 2024 to see if my year had pasted and was told that I already used my touch up, which was incorrect. Laura told me to come back in a month after the first date seen to finish the procedure. NEVER once did she state I was using my touch up. It doesn't really matter since my year had past but I am trying to warn others to not let her do that to them! Hope this helps everyone else!!

Twenty seven years! Yes, 27 years ago I had permanent eyeliner done by Laura and it was still evident! When we did the math we were amazed how many years my eyeliner has lasted. Laura and JJ are great to work with, explaining every detailed step as I came closer to my wish come true! My eyes look great and I have received many compliments. I even got a courtesy call from JJ checking on me to make sure I was doing well! I strongly recommend Permanent makeup by Laura!

Correction to Laura’s reply below: I did not call her and say I was happy with the work. On the contrary, I called to say my eyebrows looked dark AND orange and that I wouldn’t return for a second session. It’s also news to me that she supposedly wrote me a check for reimbursement because I was never told that. She has my address on file at her business and could easily mail that check to me if that really is the case. And, I do want that money because I now have to pay to get laser removal for the mess that was made. Original review: Left me with ORANGE eyebrows, not to mention deceptive business practices with regard to pricing. I scheduled a consultation to have my brows lightened, as I was looking to get rid of previous dark microblading to my eyebrows. I was unsure of what could be done but was told by Laura that she could make my brows look 50% lighter with her technique. Her pricing started at $695 because according to her, I was also going to do microblading. I told her I didn’t want anymore microblading, only to lighten them. I told her I was also considering laser removal when she told me not do that because laser removal also removes all of the eyebrow hair (which I now know to be false). Awful experience overall; Laura did not lighten my brows, she added more ink over them except in an orange color to supposedly cancel the dark color which at 4 weeks looks NO lighter, only orange now. After the initial treatment they did appear to look slightly lighter but that’s because the ink hadn’t settled yet. I wish I would’ve known her “lightening” technique was just to add more ink which I now have to have removed. She also charged me for 2 sessions upfront even though I told her I only wanted to pay by session which she couldn’t seem to take no for an answer. When I called to say I wasn’t going back, she then changed the price on me again and tried to blame me for scheduling the wrong appointment type. Her prices went from $695 to $500 for 2 sessions, then when I wanted back the money for the session I wasn’t going to use she told me on the phone, it was actually $395 a session. So I asked her for the unused amount again, and low and behold, now it was really $500 a session. Don’t be duped here; do your research before agreeing to any service, and make sure you are clear and get straightforward pricing upfront. I’m sure she will reply to my review claiming I’m somehow responsible but I have the text messages and photos to show for themselves and happy to post here if necessary.

I’ve been going to Laura since 2005 for permanent eyebrows and eyeliner. I get many compliments on my eyebrows from my family, patients and strangers. Laura and JJ her receptionist are very friendly and very professional not to mention the clean facility and the comfortable feeling you get when you’re there cause they make you feel like you’re their number one priority in that moment. Thank you Laura for making people feel beautiful again!

I met Laura in January 2024 and I brought her a big challenge; my eyebrows were one of the worst jobs ever done! I tried to remove the ink using laser but it didn't work as I expected so I visited her hopping she could remediate the uneven eyebrows a little. A little???? She did an extraordinary job! I could't be happier. This woman is an artist. Not only that, she is very companionate, kind and fun. She listen to you while your eyes are close...she is the best and I will recommend her to everybody. Either for a new job or to fix a bad one. I am planning to do my lips too.....Can't wait!!!

My wife last saw Laura in 2013 for permanent make up (eyebrows, eyeliner, and lips.) It was a sincere pleasure seeing her again yesterday, July 14 at which time my wife had the permanent make up redone. I chose Laura’s for my permanent eyeliner based on reviews I read and I couldn’t be happier! Laura and her staff were great. The salon was spotless and well maintained. Laura took a photo of how I wear my make up and duplicated it. She let me know during the procedure everything she was doing and was very patient, as this was new to me. She explained the after care well and I had no issues. I will be returning for the complimentary touch up.I think eyebrows are next. I would highly recommend.

I have been going to Laura Frisk since 2001. Yesterday I went in for a refresh of my permanent eyeliner. As always JJ the receptionist was friendly and gives thorough information. Laura is always professional and is a creative genius. This office is dedicated to sterile procedures so no need to worry about the risk of infection. I had my permanent makeup done about 20 years ago and wanted to get it redone. Being new in town, I was very nervous to try someone new. I needed to make sure it looked natural and wasn't so dramatic. Driving down Blanco recently, I saw Permanent Cosmetics by Laura and decided to go in and talk with her. Laura is awesome at what she does. She said that she could add definition to my lips (they were thinning) and make the eyebrow that has been lower than the other for years more symmetrical. She took time to explain everything and how it would be done. I am sooooo glad that I found Laura. I have more confidence and feel better about my appearance than I have in years. I would definitely recommend Laura.

I went to Lauras Salon last week to get permanent lipstick tattooed on me. My mom and aunt have both been going to Laura for a long time and have always loved her work. I was a little nervous to choose such a bright color but I knew I made the right choice as soon as the session was over. The whole appointment took around 2 hours and the numbing cream worked amazingly. I could barely feel anything and when I did it was about a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10. I highly recommend going to Laura for a beautiful result. The healing process is also incredibly simply.

I had my eyebrows, eyelids and lips done recently. I am very pleased with the shape, some of the colors. I’ve been wanting to get this done for quite a few years, finally bit the bullet. It’s so nice that I lessened the time putting makeup on. I looked at all the pictures and the women looked great. F/U-After about 10 weeks when all said and done including the touch up 5 1/2 weeks ago I’m disappointed that lower liner didn’t stay in the corners.Looks like a dotted line. Apparently those are tender spots and eyes get teary and muscles move when I had it done. Impossible to do she says. Won’t lie, the liner hurts a lot. The rest didn’t bother me. I can take pain pretty good. Take a Valium she says to relax before getting done. Ok but then you have to see a Dr. At least tell you before the touch up appt so it can be corrected at that time. Wish I had known that before. The lip color seem to fade a little too much for me and lip liner outlines lips lighter. Everyone says they barely see the liner. Most don’t see the lip color at all. Eyebrows are too dark. In fact the first time they were almost black. The touch up she did was a lighter color but still too dark. Not the brown I normally would wear. I wear a lighter brown for brows. I’ll need to change this somehow. Already paid a lot and just can’t see paying more to fix something.I was so disappointed that when I saw my daughter who had no idea I had this done, she didn’t even notice. But of course she normally sees me with regular makeup on. But surely she would have noticed so I thought. So I am back to putting on regular makeup as before. The whole purpose was to not put makeup on mostly and to feel like you are completely ready to leave the house without spending time with makeup. Laura is very nice and said she had great ideas on the permanent makeup. Just wish it would had been up to my expectations afterwards. Make sure you express the colors you are wanting. I kinda left it up to her since she’s the expert. My opinion I’ll need touch ups on all 3 areas. I’ll have to do this at some point.

I’ve been coming here for maybe 2 years now and Susan always does the best pedicure! My feet are always baby soft until my next one and my nails always come out perfect. I’m always getting compliments on my toes. I highly recommend her! She then recommended me to Shirin for waxing and I’ve been seeing her for months now. She does an amazing Brazilian and eye brow and now 3 of my friends go to her for waxing and love it! And Belinda does an amazing job with my haircuts/color. I’ve received nothing but compliments on my hair and I feel so beautiful with my new look! I recommend this salon 100%!!

Just had my eyebrows micro bladed and I love them. After years of plucking them and then menopause they just never grew back the same. No more filling in with an eyebrow pencil. As always Laura did a great job. Still sporting my eyeliner from 14 years ago too. She's the best!!

Laura and all of her staff are very friendly. I have been coming to her since 2013 when I got my permanent eyeliner done. It's been 10 yrs and I'm just now getting a touch up. Her office is very clean as well. I wouldn't go to any else. I am very happy with her and the work that she has done.

The salon is outdated and messy. There is a rancid smell as well. Additionally, the staff were very condescending and overall not nice to my mother and other potential clients while she was getting her hair done. We will definitely book hair appointments elsewhere in the future. Save your money and time, go elsewhere!

This is my second time tattooing my eyebrows. Laura by far is the best. She took measurements of the eyebrows first before starting. She pencil painted my eyebrows before starting to let me know how they would look and the decision was left up to me. I'm very pleased with my eyebrows and will definitely return to her in the future.

Laura always does such an amazing job! I got the lash lift and tint. The outcome is always amazing and last me at least a couple of months before it starts to drop. She’s always so friendly and you can have great conversations. Highly recommend her to anyone.
