I was really disappointed with my haircut. I specifically asked for a simple and clean cut with NO layers but the hairdresser added layers anyway. Now I have to wait for it grow out, which is extremely frustrating, especially for this price (more than $100)

I went in with hair down to my literal hips and asked for a trim, 3 inches off, and a little maintanence on the layers I already had. My hair is quite literally an inch past my shoulders right now and the layers were so poorly done that I look like dora with a straight thick bob. The ladies are nice but the work was horrible

Danielle has been been my stylist/colorist for 15+ years and I trust her with everything from color, cuts, updos and she's a great makeup artist as well. She takes care of my daughter's extremely curly hair as well. The service at laveli is amazing from the minute you walk in the door so if you're in the neighborhood stop by have a great cappuccino and ask for Danielle.

Great dependable salon in the neighborhood. I’ve seen tanzina usually for toners, cuts and blow drys. She’s super pleasant and knows what she’s doing.

This place deserves 10 stars. I visited this salon for the first time yesterday and Suzy was the best stylist I have ever had. She gave me honest recommendations and even saved me money by offering the services that my hair needed. She was not a sales person. I don’t like when stylists take on a sales role. She took the time to color, cut, and blow dry my hair all by herself while in previous places other stylists share that work. I was literally the last person in the salon and she was willing to stay to complete all the work. I really appreciate her patience and dedication. She provides outstanding customer experience and goes above and beyond. I also want to thank the receptionist (can’t recall her name) for staying late yesterday. This place rocks and I can’t wait to go back in a month or two. Suzy and team - keep up with the great work!

I’m so glad I found Sara. I’ve been going to her for almost a year now and she has become my go-to. I have naturally dark hair and she is the only stylist that can blend highlights perfectly into my natural color. She has also mastered getting the perfect waves in her blowouts. My highlights were done over a month ago and still looking amazing. I only wish she worked more than once a week so I could make getting my hair done fit into my schedule better. I also like that the staff and stylists who help wash and prep are friendly and welcoming, always offering a drink and make the experience nicer.

Danielle is by far the best stylist in this entire salon and I will always come specifically for her or follow her wherever she goes! She can simultaneously bring me to the brightest platinum I’ve ever had or give me the most vibrant non traditional colors. If you’re not booking with Danielle then you’re probably going to her to fix what your previous stylist did, so save yourself the trouble and get it done right the first time.

I’ve been going to Laveli on W72nd St for years. I’ve always been happy with the service. I’ve been seeing Illias and Jeff most recently. I’ve also seen Carmen in the past. My whole family uses this salon and we’ve always been pleased with everyone we’ve seen.

Great atmosphere and a very beautiful salon. I enjoyed the welcoming service, I was offered a really good cappuccino. The haircut and Blowdry were perfect, it was my first time in the salon and I’m definitely coming back. Suzy was very friendly, and positive and suggested me a suitable haircut option for my face. I was very satisfied with the visit.

I panicked when my hair cutter of many years retired, then i researched and found TANZINA - she did the two things a good hair cutter should do 1) looked at my hair BEFORE the shampoo 2) passed the test...you always look good when you leave the salon but it's LIVING with cut (after a couple of shampoos etc.) that matters. And she is as pleasant as can be. Kudos to TANZINA

Update: I’ve seen Suzanne twice now, and she is wonderful! Great stylist, great person! Love her! Just went to Laveli Salon, and was blown away! The salon is super clean and bright, and my stylist, Suzy, did a fantastic job with my frizzy and difficult hair. She is warm, friendly, and a real pro. The ladies at the desk were great, too. Laveli exceeded all expectations. Highly recommend!

Went in for a walk-in appointment and was immediately paired with a professional and attentive stylist who was able to turn a tangled mess into a short, clean, interview ready haircut with very little guidance necessary.

I followed Jane from her business to Laveli 7 years ago then life got in the way. I just found my way back. Not sure what I have been waiting for, she is the best at what she does. Her hands are magic ! Love love love her and everyone at the salon. Had a great wash and blowout as well. Can I give 6 stars?
