Beyoncé was incredibly helpful and I left looking and feeling beautiful! I have curly hair and it can be hard to find someone that specializes in curls and she was wonderfully helpful and really knows her stuff. Best salon experience ever!

Every time I come into this salon I am immediately greeted with a smile and a coffee! They know I LOVE my coffee. ☺️ From start to finish you are treated like a queen. Everyone is so positive and eager to make your experience as relaxing as possible. I adore all the women in this beautiful space, the vibes are always the best! I see Tiffany for my hand tied extensions, cut and color. She is the sweetest woman I have ever met! Not only does she do an IMPECCABLE job on my hair but the love she pours into her people is infectious. She really cares about making her clients feel as confident and beautiful inside and out. I am blessed to have found Meraki! These ladies are the absolute best.

Nallely is amazing! I had extensions done at another local salon and they were so uncomfortable I had to have them taken out after a week. When Nallely installed them, they are so much more comfortable. What a relief! She also colored and cut my hair which turned out amazing. Ten out of ten! Also the salon is absolutely adorable and everyone is so nice!

The best hair salon in San Diego. I have been coming to Tiffany for years and when I first came to her my hair was completely damaged. She worked with me to get hand tied extensions which she installed perfectly. She brought my hair back to life! I am forever grateful for Tiffany and her team. My hair to this day has never been healthier. Tiffany is a perfectionist and has a passion for her business. Highly recommend!

This hair salon is legit top notch. I’ve been going to Lawa Meraki for over 5 years now and I always leave happy and LOVING my hair. Everyone is so professional yet the vibe is still fun. The salon is so full of natural light and is huge. Their ABUNDANCE hair extensions are so beautiful and such amazing quality. I highly recommend Lawa Meraki. You will not be disappointed!

Tiffany Hoover has been my hair stylist and colorist for about 10 years now at Meraki Lounge and Salon. The staff at the salon are all very welcoming, friendly and professional. Tiffany is an amazing hair artist and works magic on her client’s hair with her balayage and hair extension skills. I always feel beautiful after all my appointments because Tiffany and her team strive to ensure that the clients are well taken care of. Highly recommend!!!

Hands down the best luxury hair spa/salon in San Diego. I’ve been getting hand tied extensions from Tiffany and she is an artist and knows how to make you feel like the best version of yourself. She cares about the integrity of your hair, mindful of your budget and never sales-y, and literally gives me the most natural looking hair extensions ever. I’m a busy mom and taking care of myself often falls to the side so Tiffany and her amazing staff never fail to make me feel taken cared of and beautiful.

WOW I am so impressed! I called the salon and they got me in super last minute on Saturday for a blowout with Siara. I am in shock, hands down THE best my hair has ever looked, it’s now Tuesday and it still looks flawless! I’m so happy and cannot wait to go back!

Stopped in while walking around town and asked how much for a blowout. I was told $65. Booked on their website which said blowouts “started at $65”. Salon was clean. Stylist was friendly. Upon checkout, my blowout was $85. No mention before hand or discussion about the price or upcharge. When I asked why it wasn’t $65, I was told I had “curly, longer hair”. My hair is just below my shoulders by about 2”. My blowout took 40 minutes total including wash. No styling, just a round brush blowout. It was good, not great. Not worth the money. Find somewhere else.

I loooooove my Keratin treatments with Zac! They are a “must” every 4/5 months! I naturally have really curly hair and with this treatment, my hair is silky, smooth, much easier to manage!! I also get highlights, and a layered cut (I have long hair) whenever I’m due. His highlights are very natural looking and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair! He’s the BEST!

Tiffany gave my hair CPR 4+ years ago from a terrible cut I ran into. She put in beautiful hair extensions to repair the bad cut and resolved the hair emergency. I have stayed as a dedicated client since, and I am over the moon happy with her salon staff and talented services. I come in every three weeks to color and SHINE! Happy hair = Happy Woman! Would like to start by saying how amazing and iconic this salon is and feels. From the moment you walk in you feel like a movie star. And everyone there plays their part 👌 Had a minor issue but the manager Tina and the owner Tiffany went over and beyond and took care of me. No doubt Tiffany is a master at Highlights and Baylage, look no further! I have tried MANY hairstylists in San Diego and hands-down Tiffany is the best!!! I came in last week to get a butterfly cut with long layers. I had dry hair and alot of dead ends. I booked an appointment with Zac Stachulski and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! First of all, the salon is absolutely gorgeous and it feels so luxurious. Zac was very welcoming and kind! He is very experienced and a professional at what he does. He gave me a beautiful butterfly cut and left me with long, healthy, bouncy layers. It is safe to say that my hair looks and feels way healthier than it did before. He also framed my face perfectly and it altered the way my face looked in such a great way! I cannot recommend Zac enough. Thank you to the Maraki Lounge staff for being so sweet and helpful!!

I had booked an appointment with Gabriela Mendoza “Enjoyelaa” and the process was very stressful and very disappointing. At first I had booked 9:30am on the slot available then she rescheduled me to 9am. That should have been the first red flag! I usually make 15 minute drive from my house to the this location and I decided to leave 40 minutes before to arrive on time. I did not want 9am on the first place because I know traffic is bad and there was an accident on top of that. I let this stylist know beforehand I would be a few minutes late according to GPS and they told me that after 15 minutes the appointment would be rescheduled. So I was charged a 100 dollar fee plus the 100 dollar deposit. I am beyond upset and disgusted that I was robbed 200 dollars for a service that was not provided. I even mentioned if I could arrive a few minutes late for a treatment or to make my appointment shorter but no. Please beware of this person; I am out of $200, with nothing and with this economy. Also, once I added my credit card I had some weird charges on my credit card and I am curious as to why I got these charges after adding my credit card on file? This is beyond disgusting and the messages were cold and not understanding at all, no apologies.

I had to cancel my appointment tomorrow due to Covid. I know how imperative their time is, but illness is something we can not control. So, instead of being understanding and accommodating they charged me a $65 fee. I know this is to pay for time and a waste of a day for the stylist, but for this just being out of my control was just shocking! I should of kept my appt and gave everyone covid then cancel.

I was so nervous to find a new hairdresser when I moved to SD but Abbey always knocks it out of the park! I’m so grateful that I found her. I really enjoy the atmosphere at Meraki Lounge too - the decor is awesome and Onyx the Schnauzer is great company.
