Went to have a basic manicure halfway through the owners husband and wife began arguing it got very loud and intense. At one point a nail dryer was thrown on the floor. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. This occurred in front of their young children and customers. Will NEVER return.

I had an appointment at another salon and it got cancelled. Layla fit me in on the same day and worked with my tight schedule. The service was fast and friendly & I got exactly what I asked for. Will definitely return!

Have been going to laylas for about 6 months now, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Nails are great and they’re so good at copying from a picture. Price is great too :)

I never leave reviews but this was such a horrible experience today. If I could give 0 stars I would. I went with my mother in law to get our nails and toes done and while she was getting her toes started, the lady (who I believe owns the place) started on my nails. All I wanted was white tip nails. Everything was good until she started to paint. I asked nicely for the white to be thinner and I pulled up a picture because I couldn’t really explain it and then she understood what I was asking for, but right there I could tell she was not happy with me just because I asked that. She was shaking her head and grabbed my fingers aggressively to wipe off the paint and start over. Once she did it the 2nd time I told her it was perfect. After doing all the tips there was still streaks of white on one of the nails from when she wiped it all off with the worst attitude and she still decided to go over it with the clear coat…. So I asked her if she could please fix it. Then she threw my hand back and told me I should’ve told her sooner now I have to wait and “she will do it later”. Which as a nail artist, if you made a mess with the paint, wouldn’t you clean it up BEFORE adding a top coat?? At this point my MIL came and sat next to me to get started on her nails, I looked at her and said I’m not getting my feet done anymore I’m not happy. Then the lady decided to step into our conversation and loudly say yeah I don’t want to do her nails either and starts to say I’m throwing my money in her face and I’m wasting her time and money and she’s not doing it, which I still haven’t even paid or been told how much my nails would be… so idk why she mentioned anything about me “throwing my money in her face”. Then as my nails are finishing drying, she’s cleaning her station where my phone is sitting and grabs my phone to move it and SLAMS IT on the table. My property, she picked up with an attitude and threw it down… then proceeds to walk to the back and COMES BACK OUT to argue and say “now the customer is always important but you coming in here talking to me like that and throwing your money” and idk what else she said and I responded with “ma’am I have no Idea why you’re so upset with me I didn’t do anything and I haven’t thrown anything in your face and I told you I was happy with my nails” she ignored me and walked away. At this point I didn’t even want to pay, yet I still did. I was never rude to her nor did I talk to her in any bad way. Also I have never not tipped for a service like this. But I definitely didn’t tip her she did not deserve it. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I ever been treated that way especially in a nail salon where I’m planning on spending money. I’ve been getting my nails done for a long long time and have never ever experienced something like this before. I enjoy going to the nail salon and getting stuff done but I will absolutely never be going back to this place, and if anyone does go here, you don’t want her to do your nails.

Was shopping in town and decided to see if they did walk ins for a pedicure.. The answer was yes and they couldn’t have been more welcoming. Business was very neat and clean. Staff was courteous and did a fantastic job! I am so glad I decided to try them out and will definitely be going back!

I absolutely loved how my nails looked after i left. I have never been happier to have found a good place to get my nails done. I’ve had such a great experience there and i’m so happy that they’re all so nice! I will definitely go again!

I was so disappointed, upon entering the owner (the man) was very short with us and not friendly at all, abruptly told us to come back in a half hour so we did....the owner's wife was very friendly, but rushed me through in about 20 min, didn't even push back my cuticles 😥 super disappointed

I wish I could give more stars. The services were great. Unlike other places I've been to, they listened to what I wanted and did exactly as instructed. The prices are reasonable. The place is super clean and modern looking interior. I liked it. I'd recommend it.

The salon is very nice and owned by a beautiful family. I was very disappointed as we were not greeted by the owner in a friendly manner at all in fact he abruptly told us to come back in 30 min so we did, and then my pedi by the owner's wife was very rushed and not well done. 😥 will try again ....

Absolutely dissatisfied…..it is a treat to go in (and relax), to have a manicure. It was hurry in and shove out as fast as you can. It took 20 minutes for her to do a gel manicure, which she did not put a top coat to finish them. They lasted 1/2 a week. I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK

I called Layla Nails and stated what I wanted done. I needed 2 nails repainted as the paint was chipped. I also needed a new nail for one of my thumbs. I was told to show up anytime the next day. I showed up during my lunch break I figured at most it would take 20-25 minutes. They had me sit down when I walked in with a friend, she sat next to me. I told the lady, one of the owners, doing my nails that I was on lunch break and she had half an hour but to not rush. The other owner overheard and entered himself in the conversation. He told me I couldn’t leave until they were done. I was immediately surprised at the lack of professionalism. As a new business owner I would of NEVER told one of my clients they can’t leave. The girl doing my nails shook her head over and over. She was sloppy. It took 10-15 minutes. I went to pay and the total was $10 to repaint 2 nails and to have one replaced. I was told I couldn’t use my debit card to pay because of the amount. Luckily I had cash on me that I didn’t want to use but, had no choice. I left without giving a tip(normally I leave $5). We walked out and my friend looked at me and said “If someone talked to me like that I would of walked out.” I should of. The moment he spoke to me with such disrespect I should of left. I got to my car and realized my nails weren’t even dry. Throughout the rest of the day and on to the next the paint underneath was wet and had bubbles. I will NEVER be going back. I would rather spend the gas money drive to Peru then to step foot back into Layla Nails. They did my nails before I went to get them fixed. Why did I receive such a negative visit when they were the ones who rushed through them to begin with when I went in for a fill? Thanks Layla Nails you ruined such a good environment with your lack of courtesy and disrespect. You’ve lost my business as well as my friends and family.

So I’ve lived in Princeton for two years and would travel back to my hometown to get my nails done by my nail tech. My nail tech in my hometown left that salon so I didn’t want to drive there for someone else to do my nails and give me less of what I wanted, I decided to try out this nail salon today and OMGGGGG!! Let me start with this, I’ve never felt more welcomed into a nail salon like I did today. Liam did an amazing job on my nails. I guess I found my new permanent salon! 😊 also, I called earlier today to set up this appointment and he went the extra mile to be able to fit me in. I’m so happy I decided to try them out! Best place I’ve ever been!! Thank you, Liam!!

Today was my first time getting my nails done here and let me say they did an amazing job! As soon as I walked in I was greeted and the place looked nice and clean. I really loved all the color choices they have to offer and all the different choices of pedicures. I also liked the fact that I didn’t feel rushed at all and before I knew it I was in and out..

Great nail salon! Liam & his wife are wonderful. They stay pretty busy so make sure to call and make an appointment. Salon is very clean with a friendly atmosphere. Have been coming here almost 4 months now for my acrylics and I absolutely love them.

I am literally sitting outside of this salon writing this review as I was just turned away from an appointment that I called and made yesterday for 5 pm tonight. The incompetent business owner that I spoke with on the phone just yesterday and told him I hadn’t been to his salon before and wondered if they took walk-ins or by appointment only. He said appointments and I said great, can you do 5 pm tomorrow? Yes, he said, 5 pm is available. I drove 25 minutes for this appointment and when I walked in he rudely says “what’s your name?” Immediately after I just told him my name and why I was there. He then looks at his book and says…”No, I don’t have an Erica for 5 pm and we’re all booked for tonight!” Apparently these people don’t want or need any new clients. Don’t waste your time with this shady outfit. I doubt they’ll be in business long if this is the way they run their “business”.
