I have been a long time client of many of the stylists at Layne & Co. The entire team provides me with top tier customer service each visit. I drive all the way from San Antonio because I know my hair is in the best hands & I will be treated with kindness and compassion. In addition to their specialized extension knowledge & training, they carry premium extension products which has ensured my natural hair remains undamaged and my extensions last well over a year. My hair is always matched perfectly to my extensions & blended seamlessly, making them look so natural. I cannot recommend Shelby & her team enough.

I recently visited the salon for a full highlight and toner. Unfortunately, the stylist had dinner plans and was only able to complete a partial highlight. After blowdrying there were some orange and yellow tones that needed toning, she acknowledged this but didn't offer to fix it or schedule a follow-up appointment. Despite the stylist’s excellent customer service, I left feeling disappointed. After spending almost $200, I now need to find another place to correct the color. I understand that she recently started doing hair, which might explain some of the challenges we faced. I appreciate her effort, but the end result didn’t meet my expectations, and I'm hoping to resolve the issue soon at an another salon.

Stella did an incredible job taking my hot mess and turning it into one of the best styles I’ve had in years. I’ve gotten so many compliments from friends, family, and strangers. I’m having a blast being a redhead these days and am so happy I’ve found a salon I can trust and that is so affordable! I’ll be a lifetime patron for sure! Thanks y’all

Stella's talent as a hairstylist is truly remarkable! She transformed my box-dyed hair into something stunning once again! Not only do I feel younger, but my hair radiates health and vitality. The balayage, paired with a fantastic haircut, has rejuvenated my look in the most incredible way. It's been years since I've felt this thrilled with my hair. Thank you, Stella! 10 out of 5 stars is what they deserve. Not only is scheduling always incredibly easy and reliable but I never have to worry about leaving disappointed in what my hair looks like. They take the time to remember their customer's needs/wants and make sure they are happy for the entire Layne & Co experience. Even if you are not near cedar park, I would still 10000% recommend checking them out!

Cassidy did an amazing job on my hair! This was my first time at this salon and it’s so cute inside! Loved everything about it and I can not say enough good things about Cassidy! She worked some miracles on my hair and it came out better than I imagined! She is patient, listens to your ideas and gives great feedback so you come out looking your best! I have been coming to Shelby for over 5 years now for my hair… FIVE YEARS. She is the easily the ONLY stylist/human being that I will allow to even come close to my hair. I am a natural dark brunette, and I have now been a successful, happy, healthy blonde for the last 5+ years and I have not had one single complaint in the entirety of the time I’ve been seeing Shelby. My hair is treated nothing shy of a healthy manner every single appointment, but still hitting the all the results I wanted, every single time. Shelby and Layne & Co. Salon are nothing but professional and the upmost client satisfactory oriented business. I HIGHLY recommend Shelby and my girls at Layne & Co. Salon :)

I had a wonderful experience with Kenna as my stylist. She was very thorough while discussing my options and how we would achieve my hair goals. Throughout the appointment she communicated what she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. Not only did she completely transform my hair, but she also made me smile and laugh, and she was very friendly and we had great conversation during the appointment. I knew before I even saw the end result that I wanted to leave her a good review. Thank you, Kenna, for transforming my hair in a way that was better than I could imagine!

I love this place and can not recommend them enough. Shelby and Cassi have both done my color and cut for the last 4 years and are such savvy professionals. Shelby taught me how to communicate what I was looking for (she also read my mind) but also took the time to know my maintenance level and gave me more than what I asked for going above and beyond. Cassi has also done a beautiful job of helping cover my grays and adding dimension to my brunette hair. She also gives me a great cut!! Any compliments I receive on my hair go to these ladies and this great salon. Thank you ladies!

I've been getting my hair done by Shelby since before she graduated from cosmetology school. She is incredibly skilled and holds herself to the highest professional standards. My hair is always gorgeous after Shelby gets her hands on it. In the growth of her business, I've also received services from Cassidy and Meagan, her employees. Both of them are attentive to detail and did a wonderful job. If you want the best looking hair in the area, go see the girls at Layne & Co... plus it doesn't hurt that their new space is absolutely beautiful! UPDATE 2023- I continue to trust Shelby and her team with my hair. They have cultivated a fun and enjoyable environment (with a handsome salon dog!) to relax in while getting my hair done. Shelby also is thoughtful to have trays and tables available for those who like to work while getting their hair done. Cannot recommend Layne & Co enough. Also love that Shelby often features other small, woman owned businesses!

I just got the best haircut and style by Maegan Carpenter! She took the time to talk to me about what I wanted when I walked in, walked me through what she was going to do to make sure I was ok with it, then was very detailed in making sure the cut was perfect. And it was! She showed me how to style it and which products to use and why. Also, I was her last client of the day (and the whole salon) and I did not feel rushed AT ALL. I really appreciate that. Maegan is so sweet to chat with. I will absolutely be going back to her. Thank you Maegan!

I loved this Salon. Cassidy was wonderful to work with 😊😊. She was perfect with my haircut and Balayage. I just love what she does. She will listen to you, provide you suggestions and will do everything calmly. I haven’t colored my hair in the past. I was nervous. The end result was Amazing 🤩. Just what I wanted. Thank you so much ☺️. Booking an appointment was easy and quick. They also send reminders in case you are busy with your daily schedule. I really like that. Will definitely recommend this place ☺️☺️.

I can’t say enough GREAT things about Shelby, her staff and her beautiful new salon. Shelby has been doing my hand tied extensions and color for 1.5 years now. She gets my blonde perfect every time. I get so many compliments on my hair and have to give credit to her because she is the BEST! Even with her busy schedule she continues to educate herself on new techniques and researches all her products to make sure she only uses and sells products that are good for your hair. Whether you are looking for a cut, color, blowout, or extensions Shelby and her staff will not disappoint and I promise you will be a client for life!!!

I have known Cassidy all her life. No literally she's my daughter. She's the only one who cuts my hair anymore (what there is left😔) But seriously they are a amazingly talent group here and you should try them out. Especially if you spend more then 10 minutes daily on your hair, unlike me. Beautiful new salon with nice decor and some complimentary beverages (the best kind).Don't just take my word for it (although you should cause I'm her dad and would I lie?) Give them a call for all your hair and beauty needs then like me you can be one of the cool kids 😉

I was referred to Shelby by a co-worker. My hair was broken, damaged and brittle. My color was not perfect until I became a client of Shelby’s. Now I have healthy beautiful hair, and get compliments all the time! I’ve been with her since 2018. I moved to Rockport 2 1/2 years ago and still make the 4 hour trip to see Shelby for my cut and color! She allows me to book out in advance which is very convenient since I live so far away. I always look forward to my appointments, and walk out with amazing highlights, cut and style! Shelby has become family! I wouldn’t go anywhere else no matter how far away I lived! The new salon is spacious, classy, clean, with a sprinkle of boho! Very fitting for Shelby’s personality!

Shelby and the ladies are amazing! Always a relaxing, fun experience. Granted, I can't get this color ANYWHERE else, but almost equally important, snacks and drinks! The new salon is so beautiful. I would want anyone in there work on my hair, all are wonderful.
