Got a haircut and blow dry at Le Posh on UWS! I had Artem and he did an amazing job with my hair and was extremely kind throughout the whole thing. The staff are very friendly as well. Prices were reasonable and overall had a great experience!

I had a very good experience at the "Le posh”. Everything is good there from the interior environment and the way the staff welcomes you. Olga is a true expert, very careful in listening to what you really want. I highly recommend this place

I had the absolute good fortune of being one of Le Posh’s holiday giveaway winners for a free cut and blowout with Olga. I also received a wash and complimentary conditioning treatment, and as part of the giveaway was also gifted an Aveda hair product set. I showed Olga some inspiration pictures and asked for her expertise on what length would best suit my face shape, and I’m truly in love with the end result. The staff at Le Posh are so incredibly kind and talented — I can’t thank them enough for a wonderful experience!

I came across this place because of an ad on instagram stating that new time clients will recieve 50% off a package containing balayage, cut and style which came up to $200. The stylist that did my hair was sweet but she let me know that to recieve the desired or close to the look I wanted, I needed to get a toner and it was $150 extra. I was a bit perplexed because toner should already come with balayage service. Whatever, I agreed. Now I am looking at reviews and see that others were charged a drastically lower amount than what I was charged. I read that another woman was charged $50 but than I was charged $150. Why is that? Also, The stylist did the most she could but my hair doesn’t even look like balayage. It looks like regular highlights. Positive I won’t return.

went here last year to get a single color and cut. receptionist waited until after dye had been generously applied to my head to tell me “we thought you were just getting a root touch up, so because youre getting a full color, we have to charge you for a double instead of a single color.” i didn’t get any toner, no gloss, no highlights, etc., so i have no idea why i was suddenly charged for a double color service when that’s not what i received. plus, i booked online for the cut and single color, no idea where they got “just a root touch up” from. since when is it a double to put the same color all over my hair (aside from just the roots) when i didn’t get a “second” service?

I used to love my hair. After my appointment with Le Posh, I now hate my hair. Everyday, when I have to style my hair, I’m reminded of the regret I have for making the mistake of coming to this salon. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don't step foot in here if you have curls. They used thinning shears, which is a well-known NO for curly hair. They thinned my hair from the ends to the roots. The stylist did not inform me in advance of his plan to thin my hair. I only found out afterwards, when I checked back in with the salon about why I suddenly had frizzy hair. I have reached out and followed up to discuss potential opportunities to undo their damage. The salon hasn't responded to my emails or calls. I don't recall that I've ever written a negative review before, but this salon's lack of professionalism warrants this warning. I now have to wait multiple years for all new hair to grow in. Le Posh didn’t style my hair; they destroyed my hair.

BLEACH DAMAGE - WORST SALON EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I wanted highlights and got WHITE stripes in my head. I have been experiencing breakage and dryness for months — my curls are NOT the same. I showed Olga, the stylist, photos of exactly what I wanted (blonde sunkissed highlights). I showed her several example photos and told her to not make it too drastic. She barely looked at the photos and immediately started slathering bleach on my hair. The bleach was on my hair for SO long. The stylist was not paying attention to how long I had the color on whatsoever. She took the foils out and I was left with whitish-grey hair that was not blended whatsoever. The technique, placement of foils, and color was not just wrong, but DAMAGED my hair. The stripe-like pattern was just horrible. She told me “it would fade over time,” and that “it normally looks different on straight hair.” The stylist, Olga, has apparently been doing hair for decades. I immediately started crying and they charged me $200 for this. I had to go to another salon the next day and pay another $300 to fix it. I have asked the salon for a refund multiple times and they refused. I really wish I could give zero stars. I’ve been to dozens of salons in NYC and I will truly never forget how terrible this experience has been.

I love coming to Le Posh! Olga always takes the best care of me, and you can tell she truly wants to make me look my best. This is my first time growing out my hair, and Olga is very sensitive to that and confidently went on this journey with me. She makes me feel so comfortable and always does a great job! Plus, her hair is fabulous, so I trust that she knows what she’s doing.

Not to be dramatic but this may be the best haircut I’ve had in years (if not ever). Not to mention the SHINE! I gave my stylist, Vanity, a pretty ambiguous description of what I wanted (dark brown, keep length but give it movement). She did more with that than other stylists have with picture references. I think as a society we need to accept that getting your hair done is expensive. While I spent more than anticipated, I didn’t have a heart attack. I’d be remiss if I didn’t talk about the hair washing experience and that head massage. I felt so relaxed, I think I actually fell asleep for a moment. Overall I had a really great experience, which has not been the norm in my NYC salon search. Usually I wait until I’m visiting my parents in Jersey to get my hair done, but I think I may have found my new spot!

Romina is the Best in NYC!!! 🙌🏻❤️‍🔥✨ only one I can trust with my curly hair. Caring, Detailed, fast and precise and her scalp massage is so relaxing, my favorite. My hair is never puffy or frizzy and it fully dry without a flatiron. I have never left with my neck hurting from so much pulling and she has never burnt my scalp or ears. She’s a natural! She’s able to blow dry to perfection, where it literally lasts me a “week “with my dry shampoo. I’ve been to many places in different states including CA, TX, NJ and RJ and she’ truly has a gift. She’s passionate about her cosmetology work and I love it! That’s why I always recommend her. Grateful for Romina and her Great calming energy.

Olga and Daisy are super welcoming and lovely. I went in for highlights and wanted something subtle and natural looking - I put my full faith in Olga and she did exactly what I hoped for! She walked me through the process and made me feel at home. Highly recommended, great prices and great staff, great color!!

I had an exceptional experience at LePosh hair salon in the Upper West Side NYC! I can't recommend them enough. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was welcoming. Vanity, the stylist who performed my Balayage, showed professionalism and skills, creating a flawless, sun-kissed look that exceeded my expectations. Daisy's assistance was equally impressive, taking care of every detail and making the entire process smooth. The results are stunning and I have already received a lot of compliments.

I’m so freaking happy with how my hair came out. I’m a first time client, so I qualified for 50% off services, Eddie and his assistant Edisa did my balayage+haircut+blow dry and I am so in love with the results. They both were genuinely great people to talk with, not only did they take care of me every step of the way, they did it with a smile on their faces. I appreciate that Eddie poured his hard work and great energy into my hair, I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Olga is a lifesaver! My hair was severely damaged and needed to get chopped. It’s now shoulder length with layers as I asked for and even better than I could’ve imagined! Very reasonable price for a wash, haircut and blowout and I can’t wait to go back to have her do my color. I trust her to do whatever she wants with my hair now!

Paid $250 for something I could have done at home. Asked for 3 inches minimum off of my hair and they took off 6 inches. I went here three months ago and my hair has barely grown back. Upon leaving, it felt so dry and damaged like never before. I asked for something low maintenance but I needed to re dye it after 2-3 weeks…The man dying my hair was extremely rough and barely spoke English as well. Do not recommend. (I would gladly pay the $250, with no complaints, if it lasted more than one month!!!). Clean environment but mediocre service.

Olga was great. My hair is exactly the colour I wanted, and so bright and perfect for summer. Was also quick in a way that didn’t feel rushed. Highly recommend!
