Came here to do an organic perm for my 21st birthday as a gift to myself, I was nervous at first since I never did anything to my hair but they made me feel welcomed and confident in their work. They were very polite, friendly and attentive also after informed me on how to keep my permed hair maintained for the best long lasting results and overall just made this whole experience a 11/10!! Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Lovely lovely lovely this is mt third time coming here and I’ve never been disappointed. Lovely service and wonderful staff.I first had a perm done with Tina and after I left her salon for the first time I was so pleased with how soft my hair was and two months later I still get compliments ✨.Two months later I also dyed my hair again with her and it’s so healthy shiny and soft.I truly recommend especially Tina.So soft and gentle with the hair.I truly appreciate it and recommend 🩷😩

Came in for an organic perm. Owner is very outspoken by makes for great conversation. She’s amazing with hair! My curls came out how I wanted. Following her aftercare instructions!

I came here to apply my own henna mix on my hair - but Ashraf has suggested that I try their organic hair color solution that would give me similar results without the hassle of organic henna and the long hours wait - do I did! I loved the results and in fact my hair is still healthy and shiny ! I even cut my hair with Ashraf who did a fabulous pop cut to me that really made me so happy :) thanks Ashraf for your advice and for your kind service:) truly an artist !

Tangled my straight hair in wash so bad it took 35 minutes to detangle, used clarifying shampoo to wreck my color, used half a tennis ball of product on fine hair, and then tried to give a blowout by drying with a flat detangling paddle brush…I left halfway through. Do not go here.

If you’d like your hair done with a side of negative energy, go here. Went on my lunch hour and left drained at the pushy toxicity of the hairdresser, who kept talking about how we are barbarians for eating animals and how I don’t know about hair because I don’t brush in my conditioner. Definitely would avoid.

Ashraf is a genuine expert in all aspects of hair! I’ve been going to her for years and when I travel and miss my appointments for long periods the state of my hair declines! She restores it back as soon as I resume her treatments! She has the most amazing and deep routed knowledge of her products and her ability to immediately diagnose what is causing my hair to fall or break and remedy it is magical! She is worth more than five stars! The salon and products are incredible but without her expertise they would not be as valuable!

I came here for the first time and it definitely gives “hidden gem” vibes. I saw Zinniah for a hair coloring and cut appointment; did not disappoint at all. She is very thorough and knowledgeable in what she does ensuring to not compromise the health of my hair. This is especially important for me as a curly haired girly who wants lucious blonde curls. It’s fairly quiet and relaxing here, my experience overall was a 10/10 and I will definitely come back. P.S. they’re exclusively organic and that’s a huge plus for me!! I like this Le Salon due two reasons, firstly the products that they use for coloring is Organic and do less harm to hair. Secondly, the hair stylist, Ashraf, pays lots of care to the well being of client’s hair. Fair price for New York City.

I’ve known Ashraph, the owner, for over 30 years and she is the most talented hair dresser I know. Her cuts are amazing and look as good the first day as they do a year later! I have always gotten compliments on her cuts even from strangers! I sometimes don’t see her for a few years, but I always go back. She is one of a kind and truly amazing. She always tries to make you look your best! Love her!

I’ve never been loyal to any salon/ stylist. Ashraph is the absolute best! This place blew my mind. Asked for a simple trim with layers- (I’ve had this cut many times in my life). I look like a new person- bouncy hair, volume, and also exactly what I wanted for a reasonable price. They use all organic products and it’s pregnant- friendly. Obsessed.

One of the most terrifying salon experiences ever.... I called in advance to see if they did K-Gloss treatment- the lady on the phone I insited I come in person. As soon as I walked in, she started selling me on her keratin. When I asked if she had the name of the product she started yelling me at going hysterical! Saying I have bad hair because of my shampoo? (so random). I expressed, I've had bad experiences and rather do research. I asked for before and after pictures and she began even more aggressive and picked up a dirty brush and aggressively started to brush my hair telling me "UGH! I'M THE HAIR PROFESSIONAL! YOU LEAVE IF YOU ASK TOO MANY QUESTIONS!" It was so scary... I would've been terrified to have her do my hair after that unprofessional interaction - thank god she hadn't started, I left immediately! Unhygenic, unprofessional, lack of information. I do NOT recommend this place to any normal person searching for decent service.

Went to get my hair colored and a trim. Color is amazing, will definitely be coming back, have gotten a lot of compliments! The woman who did my hair coloring and trim was very kind. Clean salon environment as well. Even came back the next week to buy the styling products she used on my hair!

Zinniah did an organic color touch up, deep condition and blowout/falr iron on my hair. She was phenomenal and my hair feels and looks amazing even days later in this NYC confusing weather. The entire salon radiates a luxurious and happy experience. I already look forward to my next appointment

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. My experience at Le Salon was nothing but horrific. I made an appointment last week and when I got there, the colorist was overbooked and already had three people in the salon. That should have been my sign to never come back, but I decided to come back the next week. Before leaving I made the appointment with the colorist at 10:30am. I arrived the following week at 10:30 and was told by the owner that the colorist arrived at 11am - they do not honor appointments. I went in for a single process and highlights, and I was given a haircut by the owner as I was standing. She butchered the rough cut and said she would finish it after the highlights. Once the colorist got there she started with the single process and given that they have only one hair washing station, I had to wait much after to get the dye removed because someone was getting a perm. I was then given a hair treatment but again had to keep the treatment on for over an hour and a half because again, there was someone in the hair washing station. At that point, I had been there for over 4 hours and the colorist kept taking other clients. I decided I was leaving because it was no longer worth the wait. I told the colorist this and she told the owner to wash my hair since she was working on another client. When I went with the owner, Ashraf, to the back she started verbally attacking me saying I was "a difficult woman" and that I better stop whining and that people all the time have to wait at her salon and they stay there over 10 hours. IF SHE HONORED HER APPOINTMENT TIMES, THIS WOULDN'T HAPPEN. She said, "people are dying and you are complaining about your hair. It grows back!" When it came to drying my hair she was very aggressive and for a moment I had to tell her to stop because she kept hitting my forehead. She was visibly angry that I was choosing to leave, which I have the complete right to, but she still had to fix the butchered haircut. To fix the butchered hair cut she angrily took out hair clippers. That's when I told her I don't want her to use hair clippers because I was scared of what she would do with them. She then got more angry and ignored me and went to work on a different client. In the end, she ended up cutting my hair with scissors and it was an ok haircut. DO NOT RECOMMEND. STAY AWAY. THERE ARE BETTER ORGANIC HAIR SALONS IN NYC. What happened to the 100% customer satisfaction? I was forced to pay $180 for this horrible service, when I should have just walked out. When I tried speaking up for myself, she kept calling me a difficult woman and saying that people die all the time, it was a truly unprofessional environment for a subpar hair job.

It’s absolutely amazing place to get hair done. The owner is the top professional, the service is exceptional. The organic products are great. It’s a hidden treasure in Manhattan. I am grateful to find this place and will be back anytime I can.

The hairdresser their was doing what she wants not what I want, she used the curler although i said don’t use it, also used products for my hair without me asking 😡 It was not a nice experience & expensive as well

When in doubt leave it alone! $110 for six foils. Disgrace! Because something is organic in nature for hair doesn't mean it's the best for every type of hair. I took a huge risk going to this salon, the owner who seems sugary, but ended up being a sour lemon. Being highly sensitive to both wheat/soy, many of the products listed as "The best stuff on Earth" is far from it, they have soy. Next, the service I requested was only to have 6 foils for the middle section, that's it, folks. I was told it would not break the hair with the baby lights - A huge lie, the front foil broke my hair indeed. I had to rush home to rinse off the itchy sensation from the salon "organic" line when I noticed the frontal breakage and parts of the section. Horrified!!!!! Pricing - I was charged a huge amount for the broken hair and not the exact match to what I already have. Though in their lighting they seem to think gold is ash blonde. Wow! Owner - By far your attitude was disgraceful, instead of asking me to communicate or contact me when I was alarmed by the overpriced foils you turned your back and smiled. Thankfully, I would never return to your salon, even if the service was free or recommended.  There is something to be said about women in business who don't seem to care much about the client rather than their wallet. A bad exchange of energy here. A 1 star is being kind!

Easy to get in, reasonably priced, quick and effective. Hayda really listens. Did not make my very fine, long, highlighted hair too short. And the ends are super blunt making my hair look much thicker. I almost always hate blowouts because I get super flat hair plus flyaways. This blowout and whatever products she used were also great.

I loved my experience at Le Salon, it was actually my second time going. It is great quality and amazing customer service, makes you feel at home. Their perms are long lasting and very on point. Products used were organic, and clean. Definitely will be back!

I've been frequenting this salon since 2013 and my hair has blossomed under the owner's care. I have curly/ethnic hair and the keratin treatment is god sent. Love this place !

This has been the worst salon experience I've ever had in my life. I went in for a curly perm with highlighted hair, I repeatedly asked ashraf if it will damage my hair and she told me that it will improve my hairs condition and my hair needs this, it will make it shiny and healthy. She started off my combing my hair aggressively and ripping out a lot of it. 5 hours later when we removed the curling rods from my hair, my hair was gummy, falling off and super crunchy and damaged. I was shocked. I asked her why my hair looked like this and she told me "well what do you expect your hair is bleached" as if she knew all along this would happen. There was no remorse whatsoever, I left in tears and had to do a major chop the next day. I chopped off my long hair to a length above my shoulders, and it's still super damaged and has a long road to recovery ahead. Please be mindful before visiting this salon. Worst experience ever.
