Fist time receiving a Chinese massage, it wasvery effective in releasing tension and helped with reducing pain in my neck and shoulders. A few tips. If you do a non-oil massage you will need to wear a baggy tshirt and shorts, I will bring my own next time. The day I went it was noisy. A fire alarm went off, staff were chatting, other guests were also loud and talkative, and a cute litte dog barked a few times. So, not a typical quiet spa experience.

I had gone here a few times for a foot massage when I was pregnant and always had a great experience. I went recently (about 5 months after my second pregnancy) and am so impressed. I had horrible SI joint pain, but 2 days after my full body massage here my pain has been gone! I had this pain for almost a year and I cannot believe it’s gone! I think I had “Angela?” Cannot recommend this place enough!

Really sweet people. Really fair price. The folks there worked hard and my partner and I really appreciated it. We talked about making this a monthly thing because we were so satisfied. Will be back.

Actually very annoyed about this 'experience.' I had an appointment scheduled (I booked online), I booked exactly what I wanted/was requesting. I show up 5 minutes before the appointment, and the guy at the front is asking me all the questions about what I booked, when it was clear what I booked. It's like he was trying to get me to do a foot soak when that's not what I was interested in. He said they're running behind by 10 minutes.. I can be understanding, fine, no problem. Well I'm still waiting and a guy who walks in who just made the appointment goes back right away (I even heard him say he wants to do a 75 minute, this wasn't prebooked). So, the front desk guy tried to bring slippers over for me to wear, respectfully I declined as I don't want to share shoes with anyone, and he seemed very confused by that. Then, he brings out a T-shirt! A T-shirt for me to go change into?? Then I find out these are not private rooms. If you're going to have a set-up like that, at least get some SPA ROBES, not a freaking T-shirt. I said I wasn't aware these weren't private rooms and the whole thing so far makes me uncomfortable. Again, the therapist was running late by 10 minutes, but at this point it's past the 10 minute mark. So I asked for him to just cancel and refund my card as I had prepaid. He said he didn't know how to do that. Well, I'll give him a little bit of credit for figuring it out and actually refunding me. However, this is not a 'spa' or a regular massage experience, if you know what I mean. I'm quite upset I wasted my time from driving there, being on time, being stalled, to end up feeling so uncomfortable to the point I had to cancel and not get a massage today. It's unfortunate. Do yourself a favor and pick a small business in the area instead.

Had my first Chinese massage here and it was great. Wendy did a fantastic job. It was different than I’m used to but I loved it. Gonna try the Thai massage next time. (Actually Adam, not Laura. Acct under wife’s name).

Had a massage with Emily & she included some Thai stretching in my already amazing combo massage. Such a great value, very clean, easy parking & so friendly. Definitely recommend Emily & her pressure was deep as I requested. I usually request a male & she was great!

We took a couple’s massage here and it was absolutely amazing. It’s a very cute and clean place. Everyone working here is very nice and accommodating. We left very relaxed after the massage.

Went for a couples massage. They were friendly when we got there and we added the hot rocks! That was awesome. The massage itself was the best thing I think I will ever have. They strip you to just your undergarments and then it begins. I lost track of time and loved every second of it. Highly recommend. I tipped generously because it was so amazing. Fixed my neck and back issues as well.

First time here, best massage I’ve had in years! I feel so good post-massage.🥹 I typically get deep tissue, but Chinese massage always hits different in the best way. The massage tables are in one large room with privacy walls in between tables. Different from the usual individual rooms, but it doesn’t take from the experience in any way. You change in a nice large bathroom where there are lockers to store your personal items. They gave me sandals and baggy shorts and top to change into. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! If you enjoy deep tissue (deep pressure), come here! The quality of massage .. price of massage … it’s a true gem. GVR is lucky to have this place!

The spa was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and inviting. The massage was very good, good pressure and technique, helped relieve my pain and soreness from a long week of skiing.
