Pros: AMAZING massage Cons: Waited at the front desk for 5ish minutes with no staff and no idea how to check in or what to do. I even attempted to call the front desk number. No one answered or appeared to help me FILTHY steamroom which is unacceptable for the price point

The Leaf spa esthetic and spa menue drew me in. I love the concept overall. Everyone was very kind. My massage therapist and treatment were awesome. Once past the front desk area the leaf spa appeal ended. The locker room and lounge area left something to be desired. I’ve been to other fairmont property spas that really lean into the spa experience. This one did not. The finishing touches were not there. I could see stuff hanging out of the storage area. The ottoman in the locker area was stained. The robes were thin and not a good universal size (too small and I am average size). The lounge area felt worn and lacking enough zen ambience (ie mood lighting, fresher appearing furniture) and the showers had halfway working attachments and not clean to my standards. The steam room and refreshing area were nice. Won’t be back to this spa.

The vital force massage with Trina was amazing ! I’ve had massages at leaf spa with other therapists and they were not half as good as Trina. Trina was very communicative and ensured I had everything I needed, she warmed the massage bed and provided additional blankets which helped enhanced my spa relaxation, her massage techniques were amazing ! I came in extremely sore from a boot camp workout and left our feeling 10 times better by the next morning all of my exercise pain was gone ! I’ll be booking with her from now on

I recently visited Leaf spa with a group of friends and wanted to share some constructive feedback about our experience. Firstly, the front desk staff was unwelcoming and rude, which set a negative tone for our visit. This person could benefit from coaching on professionalism and customer service. Additionally, the massage room was uncomfortably hot, and I noticed the therapist had to remove her uniform top due to sweating. It seems the climate control was not functioning properly, which detracted from the relaxation we were seeking. While the therapist was friendly, the massage itself was very basic and did not meet my expectations, especially given my extensive prior experience. Furthermore, the session lasted about 45 minutes instead of the promised 50, and a 20% gratuity was automatically added, which felt inappropriate given the service quality. Overall, this experience was very disappointing/underwhelming and felt like a waste of time and money. I hope management considers this feedback to improve the spa experience.

Just had a massage with Trina today at Leaf Spa, Fairmont Chicago. It was wonderful. What I asked her to concentrate on she did. Requested back and shoulders. She asked if the pressure was too much or not enough. She was very soft spoken and kind. The facility was very clean. They had lockers with locks. Also, the receptionist was very pleasant. Told me all the things I could do before my appointment. All the amenities for after shower were there. Well worth it. Thank-you Trina.🙂

I called to get information on the couples massage. Andrea picked up and answered all of my questions. She was extremely helpful and took the time to explain everything in detail. I have booked my massage and I hope the experience continues to be as pleasant as the call was.

Teri was phenomenal. Me and my bf had the couples massage and it felt Amazing. I was sooo relaxed. Pressure and technique was great. My bf had Jessie and I heard him snoring so clearly she was amazing too. He said she was great. 10/10 will be back again with these ladies. Thank you!

Lovely design of the place and truly a nice, relaxing massage; I believe my masseur's name was Corbin. He was communicative--but not too much so--and provided excellent service. However, I was surprised by the $34 service charge the spa added at the end on top of the price I was quoted ($170)--which, in addition, they also requested additional tip for the masseur. Seemed rather steep to pay $209 for a 50min. massage--especially since there wasn't any hot water in the shower--and the surprise of it all undermined my relaxation.

Had a horrible organizational experience here. The front desk staff could not figure out the very basics of her job. We ended up getting up charged for the facials. The staff had mentioned that masks were included in the package but we were charged regardless. Overall would not recommend. Not the type of hospitality experience I would expect from the fairmont.

The "spa" looks like a large public bathroom. Small. Puddles of water in the middle of the floor. Showers with empty shampoo/body wash. There are only 2 lounges to lay in to wait for your massage. Thankfully I had one but another gentleman had to stand uncomfortably for 10 minutes until his masseur came to get him. My massage was terrible. She talked throughout and didn't understand deep tissue technique despite that being the exact massage I reserved. I paid $700 for 2 massages as they automatically include a huge gratuity. Go anywhere else.

Walking from the concrete jungle through the grand entrance of Leaf Spa, I was immediately transformed to a state of tranquility. I was warmly greeted by Erin, who informed of their concept and treatment process. I was also provided a tour of the sprawling property including the relaxation room, private treatment rooms and an “Intention Tree” (see video 2). The marble locker room had oversized lockers, another relaxation room and a steam room. Marianna was my masseuse. The amount of pressure was perfect and I enhanced my treatment with CBD oil. I was so comfortable I definitely fell asleep, probably for a bit too as the time flew by. After the massage, I took a steam and a eucalyptus shower. I was certainly in a relaxed state the rest of the night, both physically and mentally. I certainly recommend checking out Leaf Spa.

I recently visited this spa and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the facility was spotlessly clean. The 50-minute massage was relaxing, especially with the hot towels, and the eucalyptus steam room was a delightful bonus. I enjoyed my time so much that I ended up staying longer. They also offer fantastic membership packages. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.

Book a massage service with Senada. She was incredible. Her massage was intentional, catered to me needs, and so relaxing! The whole experience was peaceful, tasteful, and relaxing. Every person I came in contact with was friendly but also allowed me to just be and relax. The facility was clean and smelled amazing. Highly recommend.

I had an absolutely fabulous time in the Leaf Spa! The whole ambience is done to make you feel relaxed from the first second you step in. The receptionist Silvia has welcomed my friend and me with the short greeting meditation which put us immediately in the state of calm and tranquility. The massage with physiotherapist Alex was absolutely amazing. Highly professional and incredibly nice person who wants to make you enjoy every second of your treatment. THANK YOU!

I had been on travel to Europe then back home to Hawaii then off again to Japan home then a quick trip to Chicago. I was tired and sore! Sen Ada was a lifesaver! She worked hard on my sore muscles-perhaps in my top 5% of massages. Fabulous!!

My sister and I travel from Detroit to come here! Silvia at the front desk is so sweet and facilitates an intention ritual before you begin your service. The facilities are very clean, modern, and relaxing. I especially love the steam room and hot tea selection. Their messages are top tier and always start on time. Dorothy is my masseuse of preference and my sister loves Alex. It’s an overall great experience and I highly recommend Leaf! I cannot say enough good things about this spa.

So glad I had an experience here! Walking in to a calming nature themed space set the tone for me to relax and immerse myself. I definitely recommend getting there early so you can take in the relaxing sitting room before your treatment. Mariana was my massage therapist and I liked how she took a couple times to ask if the pressure was a okay because I sometimes feel like I disturb the flow if I speak first. I didn’t take advantage of the sauna so I can’t speak on that. Even their robes were suuuuper comfy and I can’t stop thinking about them! Overall I really enjoyed being able to remove myself from the hotel and feel surrounded and immersed in the spa.

TLDR: Sonada is a miracle worker and Misha is the best. Amenities were alright but services were amazing. I took my mom here for her Christmas present and we both got massages and facials. I had Sonada & it was the best massage I've ever had - hands down. She listened to exactly what I needed and applied the perfect amount of pressure while checking in with me on how it felt. Amazing. My mom had Misha and said she was so amazing as well. She made my mom feel so comfortable. I had Misha for my facial and I fell in love with her & my mom had Alison and said she was great. The only thing I thought could have been better was the amenities. The steam room was a great size but it kind of smelled musty - it would have been great to have essential oils or something to put in there. The bathrooms were a little dirty but the attendants and people at front desk were so sweet and loved the hot tea available! Highly recommend the services here!

What a lovely hidden sanctuary! Silvia at the front desk is incredibly sweet and welcoming. I loved the ritual/ceremony and hot tea (couldn't get enough of that tea!). The spa was pretty empty so I was able to enjoy the tranquility of the amenities alone - which included drinking some bubbly before hopping in the steam room and then finishing with the eucalyptus shower. The massage was very relaxing - would recommend the hot stone add-on. Thank you, Leaf Spa!
