Chelsey saved my hair !! After 3 years of over processed bleaching, my hair was beyond fried. It was falling out, wouldn't grow, and pretty much looked and felt like hay. I knew I wanted to dye it back to brown and get extensions before my upcoming wedding but I didn't know who to trust with that level of color correction and care needed- my hair was SO fragile. A friend of mine recommended Leda and the rest is history! My hair is healthy again & growing, and the extensions for added length and volume are the cherry on top! So happy I found Leda. Chelsey does *amazing* work - every appointment I'm amazed at her speed and quality of services and so so thankful for my dream hair!!

Leda is soooo cuteee. Chelsey absolutely changed my life with my first set of professional extensions! Chelsey is extremely knowledgeable and knows what she is doing! The salon feels intimate and is in a perfect spot in Brooklyn! I received so many compliments on my hair and even grown out, it still looks perfect. Chelsey even took the time to add highlights for an even more perfect blend. I’m obsessed.

Moved to NYC and after doing A LOT of research online I found Chelsey’s salon. Been going here ever since even though there are many places closer to home and work, I don’t think they could compete. Chelsey is amazing, the salon is super cute and my hair has looked better than ever! Chelsey really really listens to what you want, thinks along and makes it work.

Nora is amazing! I decided to go from mid-back length hair to a bob and there’s no one else I would have trusted to do the big chop. She was very methodical and gave me the perfect cut to fit my hair type and my style - it really brings out my waves and looks effortlessly chic. I’m so glad I trusted her with this cut and am so excited about my new hair!

Nora is the best haircutter I've ever had across all of the New York City and two other countries, and many decades of haircuts. She is a hair intuitive or a hair whisperer; intuitively understands my very unruly thick curly hair and eccentric personality. I am so grateful to have met her. She is also a very kind, smart and compassionate person to boot! I found her by asking a stranger with the most bomb hair I'd ever seen who cut her hair! We love you Nora!

Chelsey is really kind, talented, and careful. She does a great job at preventing damage, and is very knowledgable and helpful at sharing what I need to do between appointments. Her salon is peaceful and clean, and I feel like a million bucks after leaving. I have one row of hair extensions and they look incredible and so natural. She's also honest about how much would be *too much*, either because your natural hair might be too thin or if you aren't willing to put in the work to care for it. I'm appreciative she doesn't push me / upsell a service that wouldn't look good. Recommend her to everyone I know 🩷

Chelsey was fantastic! I’ve had a bit of a mishap with my hair and it was feeling really unhealthy and orange tones that I didn’t want and she took so much care to nourish my hair back to health. She’s also lovely company. I’m very excited to become a regular ❤️

Nora has been cutting my hair for the last 8 years, and is such a talented hair stylist. She has really gotten to know my hair over the years, and has helped me experiment with so many different cuts, that still always match with my style. She also always has an eye for how the hair will grow out, giving me cuts that I love even months after my haircut. I am currently rocking a mullet that I am constantly getting compliments on, all thanks to Nora. I honestly can’t recommend her enough!

Chelsey has been my hairstylist for over 5 years and I truly could not live without her. She is ridiculously talented with both color and cut. She also is a lovely person to spend time with and makes me feel great inside and out. Also her studio is lovely, I love the intimacy of it rather than a big busy salon. My friend circle all now goes to Chelsey because of me so it’s safe to say I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

Chelsey has created a true oasis in Bushwick. Her space is inviting and tranquil and the product line she carries, Davines, smells fantastic. Oh, and then there's her skills! Expert colorist, cut, style, blow outs, she can do it all, and do it well! Most of all, she listens and gives guidance but is not imposing. She wants you to look beautiful, and feel beautiful, too!

Chelsey is AMAZING! Her private studio is so dreamy - especially during COVID times. It feels so safe - I love not feeling the stress of not being in a crowded hair salon. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. She is the official hair stylist of my friend group who are all different ethnicities and hair types. I love love love her - and I know you will too!

Hands down the only person I’ll let color my hair I like changing the color of my hair every so often and Chelsey has been able to achieve the look I want EVERYTIME. I recently went blonde and am completely satisfied with the look and texture. NO damange! Chelsey has that magic.

I had my first hair cut and styling experience with Chelsey yesterday and it exceeded all my expectations! It was like hair therapy, seriously! Really knows her stuff. She was so caring and attentive, and encouraged me to embrace a more natural look to avoid future hair damage. She took extra time to teach me a healthier haircare routine that I will use going forward, and had great product recommendations. I’ll definitely be going back for cuts in the future, and hopefully color too!

I have been going to Chelsey for my cut + color long before she was in Brooklyn. I used to travel all the way to New Hampshire just to have her do my hair! Thankfully for NYC, she has been working in Brooklyn now for years. She is so amazing at taking an idea or vision and running with it. I have been going to Chelsey for the last 3 years and have loved my cut and color every time! She knows how to breathe new life into lived in color and always has great suggestions for what will work for your hair type/always makes sure your color compliments your complexion. She is not only an incredibly talented stylist, but a wonderful person who makes every visit so enjoyable. I always look forward to going to see her. As for the salon itself, it feels like Chelsey from the second when you walk in and is every clients dream. Its perfectly styled just like her and is spotless and SO aesthetically pleasing down to the wall hangings and cute little mini fridge.
