I went to Legendary West Loop for the 18 months leading up to my wedding. I did the Core Facial membership with Katie as my esthetician and gel overlay mani ever 5 weeks to keep my nails healthy and long. My wedding was last weekend, my skin was glowing and my nails looked amazing! My make up artist kept complimenting how clear my skin was and how small my pores were! Katie helped me set up a strategy leading up to my big day so that my skin looked it’s best! I’m 5 days in to my honeymoon on the beach and my nails still look amazing! 10/10 recommend!

I do not have enough positive things to say about Nina!!! She is the best nail tech I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She is so detail oriented and so kind. If you are looking for a PERFECT manicure look no further- she’s your girl!

I wanted to try this place after seeing all the pretty nails pics they'd post on insta. I was scheduled at the wicker park location and was switched to the west loop one. This was fine but then they switched the time. And then tried to move my time again. I was going for nails for a wedding | was in, so l was excited. But the nail tech cut my cuticles way too short and kept making me bleed. My thumbs bled so bad that dried blood got trapped underneath the gel x apres. Also the tech really held the apres extensions super close to the light which kept burning me and causing a lot of pain. She also picked out some of the extensions that were way too big. I am not even at the 2 week mark for these nails, and I've already had two nails pop off. The color and chrome finish were exactly what I asked for but were not worth the physical pain and also skvrocket price. My friend went in a few days after I got my nails done and she experienced the same things with being cut and bleeding. Really sad this wasn’t the experience I expected.

The nail tech cut my cuticle and it bled. Unbelievable. Also, I've been to this place 3 times and each time they never have the polish color I select from their book. The awful receptionist said, "I'm not the company so I'm not in charge of the polish." Why not apologize and say you'll notify the manager? Never. Going. Back.

I’ve been going to Legendary for a couple of years. I always get the gel overlay - sometimes with art. As a life-long nail biter, nothing has worked better in helping me stop. The nails truly last 3-4 weeks, and they always look fantastic. Highly recommend!

I have had THREE terrible experiences with legendary. I have no idea how this place has high reviews. First off, they have canceled on me last minute on two separate appointments and did not offer any solution. The last time I went to my appointment no one would open the door for me since it was locked and they would not answer the phone. I was knocking and shouting for 10 min until a customer saw me and waived someone down. On top of that, they made me wait 30 minutes because they were running behind. Just overall terrible customer service and zero professionalism. Also the nail lady completely damaged all my nails when she removed my gel because she shaved my nails so thin rather than soaking them. My nails were so sensitive and painful to hot water for the next month because of the damage. I will never go back

Beautiful location! Legendary Spa offers spray tans through Beauty Commons. I've been searching for a new go- to place for my spray tans recently and found how amazing Beauty Commons is! Their service is unmatched. Please check it out if you are looking for a new place to get your spray tan. My skin is STILL glowing and I cannot rave enough about this place. Also, it's always a plus when there's parking available!

I got a spray tan from Beauty Commons which is located inside of Legendary Spa. My tan was done by Natalya and she is great! She is knowledgeable with knowing what type of tan would look good on my skin tone, she explained how to take care of the tan before and after and how to make it last long. I don’t get tans often and she made sure it looked natural . She was great to talk to and made the whole experience fun! Definitely booking with her again!

I’m not gonna lie, some of the nail reviews were making me nervous, but I live in the neighborhood and consider myself daring sometimes haha. Listen… I got one of the BEST manicures I have ever had here. My girl took her time (which is something you want to keep in mind) and finished my mani/pedi with absolute surgical precision!!! I almost didn’t even want to paint them bc she made my hands look so pretty. I wish I had a before pic of my cuticles and the mess I brought to her. But I swear miracle was witnessed here, okay! 🤣

Not impressed. The price doesn't match the service. My husband and I had pedicures. The heels of our feet were not smooth afterward nor were our cuticles cleaned properly. This place is a hard NO for us.

I’ve been going here for months with awesome results but recently had the worse manicure of my life at this location. I’ve been getting gel overlay on my natural nails and was looking to get a new gel overlay mani. The nail tech (I hadn’t seen or used her before) drilled down my nails so thin that in 3 spots you can see the red skin underneath. It’s the most painful thing I’ve experienced. I immediately stopped the tech and left without finishing my nails. Upon getting home I realized they were so thin that I had to cut every nail short to prevent them from breaking. Now I’ll have to grow my nails out for the next 3 to 4 months before I can get them done again. Totally ruined my nails. Haven’t heard back yet from the location …. I sent them photos today. Waiting to hear from the manager.

A friend and I came for a pedicure last week after being very excited to try the spa and ended up being very disappointed. It was by far the fasted pedicure I have ever received in my life and not even close to relaxing. My nail tech was in a rush and grabbed her personal belongs, sprayed my toes and then left. There was no communication or eye contact throughout the experience. My friend had a better pedicure experience in terms of customer service but a few days later… her second toe has become red, painful and inflamed resulting in being put on antibiotics. All in all, this service did not meet any of our expectations.

Came here twice, and both times, my nails broke within two days. They do fix it but are very inconsiderate of their customers' time. They will always start 5 to 20 minutes after your appointment time, even if you have the first appointment of the day.

I had an incredible facial + lymphatic drainage add-on with Michelle at Legendary! Michelle asked about my skin before the service and adjusted her treatment accordingly. She was incredibly easy to talk to and very insightful on how to care for my skin inside and out. The interior at Legendary was also cute and nicely maintained! I will definitely come back for more treatments. :)

I tried luxe spa pedi here which felt very good and elevated, the place is cozy. They don’t use massage chairs but their chairs are very comfy. The place is relaxing and the service quality is excellent!

Service was decent but I got nixed with my pedi quite badly. They have a discount on the final price but I don’t think I’d return. My mail therapist and I couldn’t communicate well due to her limited English language skills

Update: This is my fourth month after my first Gel X overlay, and I’m obsessed!! My nails have never looked better, and I’ve had no issues with the gel x weaning my actual nail. Every single person who has done my nails has done an amazing job and their attention to detail impresses me every time. It was my first time getting the Gel X overlay. My nails are very thin and traditional gels destroy my nails. Cant wait to see how the Gel X lasts over the next 3 weeks, but initial thoughts are the nails look great. They are slightly thicker than a dip or gel manicure, but I prefer that as my nails are thin.

Visited the Legendary West Loop location yesterday and had a very positive experience. The space was clean and relaxing and my nail tech was so detailed with both my manicure and pedicure. I’ll be returning for sure. Worth every penny!

Worst mani of my life and horrible customer service! I decided to book for an overlay and nail art manicure. During the appointment, I requested pressed-on flowers and asked my nail tech to show me the options before choosing the nail color. However, she needed help understanding my request due to the language barrier. I then asked the receptionist to help convey my message. Unfortunately, the nail tech never showed me the flowers; the receptionist only mentioned that they varied in color. As a result, I decided to proceed with my nails without any nail art. During the application of the thick overlay, my fingers began to burn under the UV light. I told the nail tech it burned as I removed my fingers from the light. At the end of the appointment, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the thick overlay and nail polish, which made my nails look unnatural. I have had overlays at other salons; my nails never looked like this. I emailed the salon about my experience immediately. It's been a week of horrible communication, constantly following up with them to receive a refund or book a fix. The no-chip started chipping 2 days after.
