I'm really sad to see this place close. The last time I was there, Heather yelled about the cost of the place in front of the customers, which was very unprofessional. I'm happy that I still go to Maddie at her new salon, Good Juju Hair Studio.

I've never written a review so bittersweet. Just when I thought I found the salon and hairstylist of my dreams, I'm told Lemon is closing :( Last week, I got the best cut and color from Julie!! I love both but am so sad that this incredible salon a few blocks away will be gone in a couple of months. If you read this, please make an appointment to support them and let them know how much you want them to stay.

Guys, never go for keratin here! It doesn’t work at all. It’s very bad and I got my curls the very first wash! I got back to the person who did it and she has been avoiding me all the time. I spent my money for nothing guys. Totally heart broken as to how irresponsible she was. I will never suggest this place to anyone! Totally unhappy with my keratin. I wish there was a dislike button.

I got my haircut by Maddie and she was honestly the best hair stylist I have ever had! She was so good about checking in at each part of the haircut to see if I wanted it shorter/different. She’s such a nice person too and a delight to talk to. I only visit St. Louis a few times a year but I will forever be sure to get my haircut by her whenever I visit!

I have curly hair and have really struggled to find a great stylist. Heather at Lemon Salon has been amazing. I’ve stopped “shopping around” since seeing her and now come to her every time I need my hair cut. She’s 100% worth it. I always leave with a haircut I love, and she’s always so open to my questions and happy to explain her haircutting and styling process. I highly recommend her! (Note: my hair is colored in my photos but that’s done at home by me. I’m sure her coloring skills are far superior to what you see in my pics :) )

I live close by, googled salons and read A LOT of good feedback about Maddie. I did a haircut with her and then a 4h balayage. It was WONDERFUL! Maddie’s super nice, accommodating and also gives advice if asked of what will work better. I loved the results and SPEED. Loved it

I looked for a salon that could do my hair for my son's wedding - I was coming in from out of town. I reached out to Maddie to ask a few questions before booking, and she was very responsive. She did a great job on the day of! I needed something for a hot and humid August day!

I recently had a haircut experience at Lemon Salon that left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. I had shown Heather a specific photo of the hairstyle I wanted and explicitly discussed my expectations with her. Unfortunately, she assured me that she could replicate it, but it turned out to be a complete disaster. First and foremost, the lack of professionalism was evident from the beginning. Despite providing clear visual references and discussing my desired look in detail, Heather seemed disinterested and disengaged throughout the entire process. It was apparent that she didn't pay attention to my requests or take them seriously. To my dismay, the end result was nothing like what I had asked for. The hairstyle Heather gave me was completely different from the photo I had shown her. It seemed as though she had not even made an effort to understand my preferences or deliver an outcome that resembled what we had discussed. The haircut was unflattering, poorly executed, and not at all what I had envisioned. Furthermore, Heather's lack of skill and expertise was evident in the execution. The cut was uneven, with noticeable jagged edges and uneven lengths. It was clear that she was not experienced or knowledgeable enough to handle the requested style. I left the salon feeling extremely dissatisfied and regretful for putting my trust in Lemon Salon and Heather. I would strongly advise anyone considering Lemon Salon to think twice before booking an appointment with Heather or anyone at this establishment. The lack of professionalism, disregard for customer expectations, and overall incompetence displayed during my visit were simply unacceptable. As someone who values their appearance and puts trust in professionals, this experience was not only disappointing but also a waste of time and money. It is disheartening to encounter such unprofessional behavior and lack of skill in a salon that claims to provide quality services. I sincerely hope that Lemon Salon takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues I have raised. It is crucial for them to prioritize customer satisfaction, professionalism, and the ability to deliver on promises. As for Heather, I strongly urge her to improve her communication skills, attentiveness, and overall expertise before accepting any more clients. Overall, my haircut experience at Lemon Salon was a complete disaster. I will certainly not be returning and would caution others to reconsider their options before trusting their hair to this salon or stylist.

Went in mid-December for a bang trim with Shelley. Although she was really nice, my curtain bangs came out really uneven with one side much heavier and in places randomly shorter than the other. Although she did refund me for the service and offered to fix the bangs, I would not recommend this salon for a haircut.

I have been getting my hair done by Maddie for years and of course had to follow her when she started at Lemon Salon! Maddie is an outstanding hair stylist that does wonders with a cut, color, and style. I would recommend her to anyone, and have referred a few happy customers as well! She always was able to recreate any picture I brought in on my hair. She is patient and listens to what you want, and makes sure you are 100% happy before you leave the salon. Lemon Salon is also the cutest! Super clean and every stylist I have met there is professional, courteous, and makes you comfortable when you walk in. They also do online scheduling which is a breeze. You won't regret making an appointment here if you are looking for a new hair gal. 😊

I have been going to Maddie for quite some time and my hair always turns out better than I could have hoped or expected! Her color and cutting skills are top notch and she is also an absolute pleasure to talk to during the process!
