I am BEYOND impressed and obsessed!! I was a first time client with Darrius he was so kind and worked a miracle on my hair at our consultation I just gave him an idea of what I had in mind and one picture and he hit it out of the park and totally went beyond all my expectations I am so happy ! I had lots of box dye build up and dead ends and wasn’t sure if I could pull this look off and he made it happen with ease ! Definitely book with him If you can he truly has a gift for hair !

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON; The day I went, I asked Alma to touch up my baby lights at the roots because they had already grown out. I was so specific that I showed her photos of how my hair looked to give her an idea, and I repeated multiple times how I wanted it done. When my hair was finished, I noticed that she dyed it all orange and my roots were still the same (brown). The result was awful, so I had to go back to fix the mess Alma made. However, she couldn’t fix it, dyed it just as poorly, and on top of that, she burned my hair. Even the other hairstylist tried to help her with the tone, and they didn’t know how to fix it either. NOW MY HAIR IS DAMAGED AND POORLY DYED. I wanted it to look nice for Thanksgiving and the holiday season, and honestly, it would have been better if I hadn’t gone. Also, on the first day, Alma saw my hair and told me the service would cost $90. But when I went to pay for the color I didn’t ask for, she charged me $112, using the excuse that my hair is long. She already knew my hair was long, so it seemed strange to me. And when I asked her to fix my hair, she wanted to charge me again, even though it was her mistake. I’m attaching photos so you can see what I asked for, how healthy my hair was before, and the after pictures showing how damaged and poorly dyed it turned out. The first two photos show how I asked Alma to dye my hair (I showed her my photos). The third photo is how she dyed it orange. The fourth, fifth, and sixth photos show the result after it was dyed again and how my hair was burned.

I was really happy with this salon and had been going for years but they keep increasing their prices to the point where it’s not even a good deal anymore. I used to pay $43 for haircut/blowout (including the $10 surcharge for long hair) and in less than a year, it’s now $62 for the same service, not even including tip. I understand some prices increases due to inflation but 50% in less than a year is really upsetting. Photo attached is my receipt from January of this year and now the new prices.

Love the staff, location and every one is so friendly! Love my stylist Jay. I will only let Jay cut my hair. She did layers and my front face layers. Love her energy and she’s so sweet.

They did my moms hair cut very bad. The color service was good for both of us but the hair cut for my mom is completely different to what she asked for. she asked for layers and didn’t get any she also wanted bangs but the bangs are cut so short and way above the eyebrows as well as looks uneven and choppy. please know when someone spends so much money on a haircut, at-least give them something thats worth it so they don’t end up feeling like they wasted their money on something they didn’t want. We also made it very clear what she wanted at the BEGINNING of the service and still the result was unsatisfactory.

What a great experience! Darrius was awesome !! My first time trying a mullet and he achieved the “rockstar” look I was going for with precision. I love how he cut the top layered hair based off the shape of my face and not what “looked good to him”!! Definitely returning and trying color next time ❤️❤️

I recently had a disappointing experience at Lemon Tree Hair Salon when I went in for a bang trim. Unfortunately, the result was far from what I expected. The stylist seemed inexperienced; she spent an excessive amount of time on one side, and the final look was uneven—one side was choppy, and the other side was longer. It was frustrating to see such a simple request go so wrong. While I do appreciate that the salon refunded my money promptly, I was really hoping to discuss my concerns with the owner or manager. Unfortunately, I didn’t get that opportunity, which left me feeling unheard. I believe feedback is essential for improvement, and a personal touch could have made a difference in how my concerns were addressed. Overall, I can't recommend Lemon Hair Salon based on my experience. While they did rectify the financial aspect, the quality of the haircut and the lack of communication left me feeling unsatisfied. I hope they take this feedback to heart for future clients.

This is my second time I had a haircut with them. My first experience was good so I went ahead with them again without thinking. But I was highly disappointed this time. I kept showing them how I wanted the cut but it was not even close to how I wanted. She said it wouldn’t look like the photo if I don’t style it well I styled it and it’s still not what I wanted. It just looks like beach waves. I wanted multiple layers but there’s hardly one layer. So it’s a waste of money if you are going for a stylish haircut. They do only simple haircut good. Worst $45 I spent.

I made an appointment at 12:15p for a last minute hair cut at 12:45p. My hair is simple and thin. Was out of the door by 1p! The process was smooth, fast, no waiting and the store is clean and well taken care of. I was super impressed and will be back for sure!!!

I’ve always adored my previous “hair person” in East Tx as I saw her for years and is super precious to me. But as I had to move for work and needed to find a new person quickly I was referred to Jazmin at Lemontree in Dallas and couldn’t be more grateful! Not only is she super talented and kind, she took the time to help me get my hair to where I wanted even though my sweet former hair stylist could never quite get there for fear of hair damage (which I appreciated.) Jazmin was so thorough in getting every strand transitioned to gray while taking extra care to lessen any damage. She reduced any exposure to heat that was necessary as well. She went so far as to fit my mother in for a quick cut when she KNEW it wouldn’t compromise my lengthy process, and even offered to meet with my darling teen niece to show her how to style her unruly mixed race hair curly hair while only charging for the wash when I brought in the products. The entire transition process only took 2 sessions and I’m extremely pleased! I’ll continue seeing Jazmin for more pampering, toning, and minor cut sessions but mainly to enjoy our conversations! She’s an amazing stylist and person!! 10 stars!!!!

Ms. Jacquelyn really made my hair look and feel amazing. She washed my hair, gave me a head massage, cut and styled my hair, and even showed me how to style my new haircut. For such a low price I’m shocked at how well I was treated and how good my hair looks. I have hip length hair that’s very thick and she knew how to work with it and added the most beautiful layers. Highly recommend not only this salon, but Jacquelyn specifically!

worst customer service, called in on Sunday and asked about all haircuts, after driving about 20 miles with 1 and 5 years old kids, the girl in the front-desk told me that they booked out for the day, why you didn’t mentioned when I called. also she’s been so rude and disrespectful. I wish there is no star at all to leave here

I had been getting wonderful service from this salon for over 2 years. May 20th, I had an emergency and wasn’t able to make my appointment. I called and let them know. They charged me a $50 cancellation fee. I was weary because I had never cancelled before and been asked to pay this. Amanda assured me the $50 would be applied to my perm - if I got a cut. I let her know right there I would not need a cut, just a perm. She said she’d make it happen, applying the $50. I got there today and she acted confused and thought i said 50% off..? And said I had to get a haircut? Went against everything about our conversation 05/20. Completely lost my business.

I love coming here! Friendly staff make the process easy for me. Great products and service! My go to is Jaz, but I have seen the other employees do great work as well. I always leave happy with my color and I’m a picky person when it comes to my hair.

My first time at Lemon Tree MOST DEFINITELY WONT BE MY LAST! Ali was just Soo amazing! I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted, I was super nervous at first but Ali helped me and told me that if I cut my dry ends my hair will eventually grow. Let me tell you she was not lying! My hair is growing and it feels sooo soft and healthy. If you book with Ali book a style with it so she can add more personal lite touches 10 out of 10! Will definitely be coming back!! :)

I sadly just wasn’t very happy with my haircut at all… 🥲 I scheduled a consultation with Ali. After - She quoted me it would be “under $200“ for what we needed to do to my hair to get the goal. Showed her a photo of exactly what I wanted, it’s my usual bob haircut. I’ve had it most my life. I showed her a photo and I explained very clearly what I wanted. It’s going to take time to grow out before I can fix it unfortunately. I was under the impression we were just getting my hair all to one color and maybe lighter on the ends since the goal has ombre colors. This was supposed to be my first appointment to just get my hair ready and then the next appointment was going to be adding this blonde color that I wanted in the photo. Instead there is blonde streaks all over my head ?? 🥲 The blonde all over was never mentioned ? I didn’t know that’s what she was doing . 😭 This appointment took 6 hours.. I spent about $300 on this visit. I was previously quoted “under $200”. I sadly won’t be returning. I was over charged , didn’t get a single thing I asked for. And wasn’t offered an appropriate refund. I got my tip back only. The worst salon experience ever.

UPDATE. since yall "couldn't" find a sofia that was in thr system to save yourself from a 1 stat review. I posted a photo. So this review is from a situation that occurred 1 year ago but till this day it makes me so mad. I used to come here often to dye my grays. They did a good job and price was reasonable. I came in one afternoon and their was a new lady who did my hair. After spending hours after washing my hair all the grays were visible. Anothet employee then told the lady working on my hair that she missed an important step and didnt put in the necessary products for good results. They told me to come back the following week to fix it. I said I wouldn't be able to. Management told me I had to pay for this eventhough I'm owed a proper 2nd treatment to fix it. I said no I'm not paying you for zero results. The manager on the phone told me ok then you can't ever come here again. What business forces you to pay for a service they couldn't privide for you?

Jasmin is our hairstylist and has done such a good job with both of my son's haircuts, hilights, and a wave perm. She is very sweet and does an amazing job. She is also very good with my color. Won't go anywhere else!
