Alyssa took the time to work with my hair color to ensure I was happy. I’m beginning the transition to grey and this was my first grey blending appointment. It was scary for me but she made me feel at ease all along the way.

I was in the area and needed a trim. I noticed this salon had great reviews, so I tried them. I have straight, long hair so it's an easy job, normally. The stylist used a small comb after washing my hair. That was a red flag, but it was a new salon so I didn't say anything even though it was painful and took forwver to comb through. Then she parted my hair in the middle when I have it on the side, and trimmed my hair. Another flag, but didnt say anything. When she started to blow dry, she didn't dry the bottom layer first, which everyone normally does. Red flag again. The last red flag was when she got my hair tangled/caught in the backend of the blow dryer machine part. It ripped out so much of my hair and took forever to get it out. Worst experience of my life in a salon! I ended things as soon as I was able to escape the blow dryer. To make matters worse the owner said "accidents happened" and asked for the full payment. BEWARE!!!! My hair was still wet and she said to sit back down so they could finish. Oh heck no!!! Tge owner had no empathy for all the hair damage and pulled out because of this experience. I think that just added insult to what occurred. Not one of the stylists that helped get my hair out of the back end of the blow dryer confessed how horrible it was or how much hair was lost/damaged. And the stylist that caused this was no where to be found. This may occur at beauty schools (maybe) but not at highly rated Scottsdale salons! I debated to post a review because I've never posted a negative review, but because of the horrible experience I thought I should. I didn't even know what to say or do. Nothing like this had ever occurred. Very disappointed with the stylist and owner.

I am a snowbird, here until end of Apr. Brittany was my stylist and has done my hair a couple times. I showed her a pic of how I wanted a new h/c and she nailed it! Normally, I have my hair colored with Redken and she was able to convert to an Aveda formula. Very happy….see you next year Brittany!

I LOVE THIS SALON! Yvette did an amazing job on my blowout! It came out super soft, voluminous, and so shiny. I’ve also had a botanical repair treatment done here and I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs it! It’s a life saver forsure. The girls at front desk, Aly and Briana, were so knowledgeable about the products and answered an every question I had. Jasmine was also a great help and checked me out and helped me set up my next appt. She made it so easy! Definitely will be back!

I absolutely love this place! I have seen Yvette twice now and she will definitely be my long term stylist. We did a full head highlight and a haircut. I trusted her to get my hair blonde and beautiful for my wedding vision and she exceeded my expectations. I love the way she explained each step she did and made sure it was exactly the way I wanted. It is clear she has the experience and passion needed to be a great stylist. Everyone in the salon was very friendly. It was a clean, updated environment with relaxing music. The price is right and it felt more like a spa day than a chore. I will be a returning customer!!

I first came here and saw RONNIE who was absolutely wonderful and I was very happy but he no longer works during the week so I thought I would take a chance and try someone new because I was leaving on vacation the Saturday I had previously booked with Ronnie .Her name was Yvette. I tried to explain to her what Ronnie had done for me and she got upset and condescendingly left with the highlight treatment into the back room and left me sitting in the chair ! 40 minutes later she came back out to me and said sweetly but condescendingly,” I don’t think this is the right fit and I’m not going to finish doing your hair today ! “ I was so confused! She then went and got her manager who treated me the same claiming Yvette felt I wasn’t the right fit for her to do my hair but did offer me a complimentary rinse which was nice. I felt it was a form of control manipulation and abuse but it was done in a sweet manner ! I never got my hair done which was supposed to be a roots touch up highlights and haircut ! I did get the roots done which looked great but I still don’t have what I overall wanted ! It was a horrible experience! I have been all over the country in hair salons and NEVER have been treated this way ! However , Ronnie was absolutely wonderful! I do not want to hurt anyone ! I am a friendly kind person, however I felt discriminated against as a paying customer! I even brought my hand made jewelry in to show the girls for Mother’s Day gifts. Such a strange and humiliating experience for me as a 60 yr old lady .

I got my hair done by Preston back and in March and I really love it!!! I am really enjoying my copper look and it really is my favorite color by far I have done!! He took his time and did a phenomenal job. This is a great salon with such authentic energy. Jasmine, Kali and Brianna that work at the front desk are just super friendly and really helpful with whatever you need. I highly recommend this salon if you want to get away for a little mini hair vacay for yourself!

I visited this place for the first time and my stylist was Preston. He is just so pleasant and cheerful, so easy to have a conversation with - like having a friend style your hair. He did an amazing job, listened really carefully about my concerns and goals, and my cut came out perfect. He really took his time, and since I had asked for the side to be shaved, he made sure to explain what he was doing. I highly recommend!

May 2023 third visit What can i say??? Preston is the best, here from Ohio and planned to make sure i got a fabulous cut from Preston. He does not disappoint! First review Preston made me feel special during my haircut. He did a beautiful job on my short, thin gray hair, in fact I would say the best haircut I have had in 8 years when my favorite stylist passed away. Preston is great!! Second visit review.. I saw Preston again for a haircut and I am so pleased, and I had such a pleasant visit in the salon. Preston is a skilled stylist and has a wonderful personality that makes you want to return! The salon is clean and welcoming as well. The front desk greats you as soon as you open the door to check you in. I wish Preston was working in my hometown in Ohio. I will be sure to have him cut my hair when I return to Scottsdale.

I walked in desperate for a short cut. A new stylist to the Scottsdale location with lots of amazing experience was available. I think his name is Chris? He was great and I will be back! He takes time to get to know you and what you want and then delivers!!!

Misleading website. I wanted a dry hair trim and your website shows that these are performed at your salon and provides the price. When I called to book an appointment, I was told they couldn’t accommodate a dry haircut. Time to update your website!

Very happy with my root touch up by Brittany. She is not only good at color, but also enjoyable to be around. I didn't have any problems making an appointment and was greeted by a cheerful receptionist. I will be back!
