I’ve had gel manicures and extensions done at Lena Rose a few times, and the results have been fantastic. Teresa created the chrome French tips you see here, and her work is flawless! Plus, she’s lovely to chat with. I don’t take great care to protect my nails when I probably should, but still never had any issues with chipping or peeling. My gels have lasted 5-6 weeks.

Extremely disappointing experience with both service and the gel manicure quality. The nail technician did a rushed job removing my previous polish, leaving remnants that were simply painted over. There was no attention to the cuticles or other basic steps. I chose a pale pink polish, but the uneven removal of the previous polish made it show through, leaving my nails looking unprofessional. When I mentioned a 10% off coupon I had forgotten at home and explained where and when I received it, they declined to honor it without seeing it, despite my dissatisfaction with the service. This was the most expensive yet the worst gel manicure I’ve had, especially frustrating from a local small business.

I love the non-toxic products and so much less waste than regular nail salons (none of those plastic foam toe separators). And a great mani-pedi! This is going to be my regular spot.

This is my second time coming here and I’m a little disappointed. First time I booked a facial along with a scalp treatment plus massage 💆 and she forgot to do the hot oil treatment for my scalp only gave me a massage but to her defense she only charged 20$ out of the 50$ it cost …. Still not a good first time experience… today was the second time and I booked a Lena classic $85 dollar pedicure that was supposed to be for 1 hour long and my pedicure ended in 35 minutes (they fail to mention that the hour includes what they consider drying time of 20 minutes) and mentions some services listed under that pedicure that weren’t performed such as dry skin repair or heel repair.. as a mom who barely gets to get away this hour was what I was looking forward to so much to relax and getaway (they definitely need to be more specific and detailed on their website) …there was barely any scrub put on or exfoliating massage. Plus the polish job wasn’t good it was a little sloppy and not fully painted on my whole nail. Very disappointing especially cause I wanted to love this place since there isn’t much non toxic local salon businesses around. I love the holistic approach to self care but unfortunately they always disappoint and do not deliver as promised. For $85 dollars the pedicure was less then basic and definitely not worth it to me. I would not recommend anyone spending their hard earned money in this economy on services that don’t fully perform and deliver what they should for something so expensive! I would recommend you purchasing yourself a good holistic foot scrub along with some non toxic foot oil and just booking at a regular nail salon and giving them your products to use including your own polish and paying less then half of 85 with so much more care and services performed.. the one good thing I must say is that the people there are really kind and lovely once they talk to you

I have lived in chicago for 10 years and took me 10 years to finally come to Lena. I live around the block and everytime I walk here I keep telling myself I need to go there and I finally went. From walking in, you feel very welcomed and feels like home. Cindy did my nails, she did an amazing job. Everyone there was extremely nice, and I also met Candy who we share the same love for netflix crime shows! I recommend going to Lena Rose beauty not just for nails but for girl chat!

Manicure: The manicure was nothing short of exceptional. The technician (shout out to Cindy) was meticulous and incredibly skilled. My nails were shaped to perfection, and the polish application was flawless. I appreciated the attention to detail, from the gentle hand massage to the meticulous cuticle care. My nails looked pristine and vibrant, and the experience was so relaxing. Pedicure: The pedicure was equally impressive. The foot soak was refreshing, and the scrub left my feet feeling rejuvenated. The massage was heavenly, and the nail polish application was flawless. Facial: The facial was the highlight of the experience. The aesthetician (shout out to Jules) took the time to assess my skin's needs and tailored the treatment accordingly. The cleansing and exfoliation left my skin glowing, and the mask was incredibly hydrating. My skin felt refreshed and radiant, and the post-facial glow was undeniable. Sugaring: The sugaring treatment was a game-changer. The technique was both gentle and effective, with the technician expertly applying the sugar paste to minimize discomfort. Overall, the experience was perfect. The staff was friendly, and the treatments were excellent. I left feeling completely refreshed and pampered. Lena Rose is an absolute gem if you're looking for a place to indulge in top-notch mani, pedi, and facial treatments!

Subpar service. I’m attaching the email I sent on 9/15 after my appointment on 9/13. After sending the email all of the nail polish on my fingers came off. Also, no one responded to email so I’m guessing I’m right about my assumption of racism/discrimination.

Booked a facial with hand, arm and foot massage. It was a great experience. A lovely young lady named Olivia did my treatment and she did a great job. She was very professional. The space was warm, inviting, and clean. The products are all fresh farm to table which they mix on site. It was a great experience. I highly recommend.!

I booked a treatment for my mom and myself to celebrate her being breast cancer free- definitely the best time for self care! We both had excellent experiences- clean and inviting space, warm and helpful staff, and a lovely facial and scalp treatment. We left feeling relaxed and happy! I highly recommend Lena Rose and can’t wait to return!

Had a few services here over the years, facial, pedicure, etc, and I like the idea of the business but wasn’t a good fit for me. Got a pedicure with my partner a few years ago, and it was painful and very awkward. Things might have changed since then.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. I love that everything they sell and use is non-toxic (especially hard to find for nails!) I’ve been getting regular manicures and pedicures here for a few years now and even if I didn’t live close by I would commute. It’s worth it! They just added a foot massage service that is MAGICAL. Really any service here you can’t go wrong. And the staff is 10/10 👏

SO personable, and were happy to answer any questions I had about their products. She really took her time with my nails, and fixed up a cut I had on my finger while explaining the process. Can’t go wrong when gratuity is included in the prices!!

I have had at least 15 manicure and pedicure appointments at Lena Rose and all have been outstanding. Their staff are professional but friendly, and knowledgeable about the non-toxic/eco-friendly products they're using. Last weekend, my husband and I had the chance to receive a pedicure service from the owner, and were blown away by her passion for her business (she told us about taking her daughter to visit local suppliers' farms, so cool). I absolutely recommend giving them a visit, they are well worth the higher-than-average prices they charge.

I’ve gotten a couple of pedicures from Kendall at Lena Rose and she has been amazing! The space is calming and very clean and the service itself is so wonderful and relaxing. It’s pricier than other salons but well-worth the higher cost. I feel so lucky to have them in the neighborhood!
