First, the place is very inviting and professionally staffed. You are greeted and welcome and immediately. My husband took me for a couples massage for my birthday in November, apparently my masseuse had an emergency and had to leave. Another lady stepped right up and did my massage. It was to be 90 minute, ended up being 60 minutes. It was one of the best massages I've ever had! I was totally pampered while I waited and they made everything more than right for the mishap. Yesterday I returned for a complimentary pedicure, again it was a lovely experience! Jean did a fabulous job, I'll definitely returned! Thank you for your graciousness!

Maria, I really like this salon. I have passed by it many times over the years and never stopped in, but about a year ago I was looking for a new stylist because I had been getting "curly haircuts" and never really felt happy with them. I found Maria at Les Ciseaux salon spa Maria she understands where I'm coming from. She is very knowledgeable and cuts my hair the way I ask and communicates with me throughout the haircut to make sure I will be happy with it. Blowouts seem to be popular at this salon so I feel at home. LOL Maria is happy to blow dry my hair so I feel good when I leave the salon. She also gives me tips for wearing my hair natural when I choose to. I've never enjoyed going to hair salons because too many times I have left very sad because either the stylist didn't understand my hair and cut it in a way that would be hard to manage or just didn't listen to me at all and cut it however he or she wanted. I enjoy my appointments with Maria and the salon is unpretentious and comfortable. The employees there have always been very welcoming and friendly. I'm very glad I found Maria and look forward to many more appointments with her.

Excellent staff and services. Ann does a wonderful blow out and custom color She takes her time and uses the flatiron with no extra charge. Very personable and professional. The complimentary vino is a nice touch!

My message therapist, Kelly, recently moved to Les Ciseaux from her prior location, The Met, after its owner decided to close the spa and expand their apparel offerings. This was my first time at the new location. I was welcomed warmly when I walked in, and the gentleman offered me water and escorted me from the salon into the spa area. The waiting room is very cozy. Kelly, as always, gave me a great massage. Unlike other spas I have been to, when we start on my back, she puts hot towels under the sheet for my back which really loosens up the muscles. I can’t recommend this spa and Kelly highly enough.

I have been going to Les Cisseaux since I was in my 20s and I have always loved it. I recently moved back to Sarasota and I have had 2 appointments with Elizabeth. She is beyond fabulous. I have complicated hair! Lots of curly hair and I love it a specific color blond and more around my face since I put it up a lot. She does it perfectly! Color is phenomenal and when she blows it straight I love it!!! Plus she’s such a sweet person. Absolutely recommend!

I love Les Ciseaux! Dawn (the owner) has been my hair stylist for almost 20 years. Paola has been my nail specialist for over five years. To say I am a selective person is an understatement. I wouldn’t trust my hair and nails to anyone else!

I received my complimentary haircut today. I am so pleased with this cut. Dawn did an amazing job. The haircut looks fabulous! I would recommend LesCiseaux Salon on St Armands Circle. Follow up: the managers called and asked if they could make things right and apologized for the situation. I was impressed and am considering returning for a complimentary haircut they offered along with returning my payment. I hope the restyle will be complimentary and easy to care for. Thank you for your consideration. It is the worst haircut I have ever received. Shorter than I wanted. The cut does not resemble the photos I brought for examples.

Do not go here!!! Find a different salon if you care about your hair at all!! I came in for a simple root retouch and they FRIED OFF MY HAIR!! Please read this review before you book with them! My first appointment I asked to be put with a blonde specialist and they booked me with Elizabeth for a bleach root retouch. She gave me a massive orange band and when I pointed it out to her she told me it wasn’t there and when I asked multiple times for her to please fix it she covered it with a high lift hair dye. I told her that high lift hair dye doesn’t work on hair that’s already been bleached but she told me that this one did and unfortunately I decided to trust her. When she was done I was still left with the same massive orange band and my roots felt very dry but at that point I had already been there for hours and she was very rude so I just left and called the salon the next day. The first picture is of my hair in the car right after leaving my appointment with Elizabeth. When I called the next day I asked for a refund but they refused to give it to me and instead said I should come in and have it fixed by a different stylist. They put me with a supposedly very experienced stylist named Dawn. I told her that I was concerned with the integrity of my hair after the botched bleach job and high lift color Elizabeth had already done but Dawn told me that there would be no breakage and that she was careful. When Dawn was done with my hair she blow dried it straight and told me that there was no breakage and I even gave her a tip for fixing it but when I washed my hair a few days later I had short broken clumps of fried hair sticking right out of my part. It looks terrible and my hair is so thin and broken now I have to straighten the broken pieces down every day just to make it not look crazy. When I first saw how much of my hair had fried off I was so sad that I cried, and it’s so damaged that more and more breaks off every day. The second picture is what Dawn did to my hair and that’s just the pieces that broke off of my part, there is much more breakage underneath my hair. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else, they did irreversible damage to my hair that will take years to recover from so I posted my experience on yelp and google reviews to try to warn other women. Within 20 minutes of the post being up the salon called me and said they would refund my money, but only if I deleted my bad reviews. Since I was backed into a corner, I agreed so I could at least get my money back. But what they did is super unethical and actually illegal too. The fact that they would only refund my money if I took down my original review is honestly disgusting and this salon should be ashamed of themselves. I attached pictures of the federal law about bribing customers to delete their reviews, I’m assuming that they’ve done this to a lot of women because this is by far the worst salon experience I have ever had in my life and I hope this place gets shut down soon. If you’re reading this I hope you decide to go somewhere else so you don’t get taken advantage of and end up with fried off hair the way I did.

I had another great experience with Dawn at Les Ciseaux Salon today. I am a natural red head, so when I started going gray, I really was worried that no one would be able to match my natural color. Did I mention that I also have waist length curly hair? So 3/4 is natural and 1/4 had to be dyed to match, plus any new growth. I tried a few other places with no success. Then I found Dawn at Le Ciseaux. She has done a wonderful job every time! By wonderful, I mean I look totally natural. The place itself is light, airy, beautiful and meticulously clean. Everyone is gracious and welcoming and knows their job. I have back issues and cannot stay with my neck back for very long. The amazing Maria washes out all the product so gently, I never have a problem.

The place is very nice , clean , professional and accommodating. The stylist (Maria) that worked on my challenging fine hair did an excellent job. I’m especially pleased with their overall customer service thanks to Dawn the salon owner and charming receptionists. Dakota has a very healing touch. She gave me a body treatment and an amazing facial. Thank you all for your friendly and professional service.
