I see Tayler regularly and cannot recommend him enough. He is professional, knowledgeable, skilled and kind. We typically split my sessions between P-DTR and sports massage / cupping. The P-DTR is incredible for reprogramming repetitive movements that cause pain such as a desk job, sports, etc. If you've had pesky pain that keeps coming back or will not go away, give him a visit. PS. Make sure to get there a little early to find street parking.

Tayler at Level Up Massage Therapy is one of my most trusted and professionally invested healthcare providers. First, just check out his ‘My Educational Journey’ section under “Meet Tayler”. His dedication to learning and growing is what sealed the deal, for me. His expertise is reflected there and his services page defines the benefits for you. As a person who has experienced abuse as a child and now works in the healthcare field, including having spent five years in the Emergency Department at a large hospital, I really tune in as to what kind of person and provider someone is. I don’t live close to his clinic, but I would drive across the state to see him, if that’s what I had to do. He has treated so many injuries and issues in my joints, soft tissue, etc. and the results have always been amazing and sustained. Beyond this, I learned about a modality he offers called P-DTR aka Functional Neurology. The results surpassed any expectation I could have ever had. I thought it was hocus-pocus stuff, but it is quite real! I had a life-long habit of grinding my teeth which ceased by the end of the first session and only came back intermittently after that. Now, three years later, I rarely do it and can quickly stop myself. That means I experience virtually no headaches these days! I had a lot of behaviors or reactions that had lingered since I was a child which I was finally able to be free from thanks to him. I’m excited to be going in for a “tune-up” this week. I don’t have anything specific as I breathe and feel at ease these days thanks to him. But, I know I always feel 100% well when I leave his office and I always love going to see him. He provides so much in addition to massage therapy, including things like cupping and gua sha and intra-oral therapy, too. He is very hands-on with his practice and I’m always comfortable with how he does business. So, I just wanted to leave this review and say that if you have stuff that you’ve been holding onto for a long time, you should check out this great practice. Thanks, Tayler, for creating long-lasting ease in my life and helping me at my darkest hour in such a professional and unexpected way. I wish primary care practices had one of you at each of them!

Finding Tayler absolutely changed me for the better. I was experiencing bouts of unexplained vertigo which was ruining my quality of life and disrupting my job and pilates practice. I was recommended to "get a massage" and somehow found Tayler and his practice at Level Up. It was a game changer. Honestly, I am unable to explain to anyone what he does with his functional neurology. All I know is that after two sessions with Tayler, my vertigo was gone and I was able to function normally and without issue. I continue to be amazed at the efficacy of his work. Tayler also worked on releasing past stored trauma from a trimalleolar ankle fracture from 2018. I had found myself physically and mentally hesitating while leading with that foot, and I knew that one day it would lead to another serious injury. He worked his magic and I now can use stairs and step off curbs without that hesitation, which has improved my overall body function immensely. I trust Tayler implicitly. While I do not fully understand the hows and why's of his practices, the results have spoken for themselves. He is kind, caring, and provides a safe environment to explore solutions that may be slightly outside the box for some people. Plus he gives awesome massages. Book a session. He will improve your quality of life in ways you did not know were possible.

I’m so grateful I found Tayler and Level Up. My long term shoulder nerve pain has finally become manageable, now to the point we can explore other issues in my body and work on those.

Tayler is a very skilled bodywork expert and was able to find the precise location on my body that was causing pain. He has helped me with old injuries in my ankle and new pain in my elbows and shoulders. He was even able to help reduce sinus inflammation and allergy issues! I really appreciate that he teaches you about how to best care for your body on a holistic level.

I received great healing bodywork fromTayler. He does deep cupping, both moving and stationary to really hit some of those long-term internal physical traumas that I’ve been holding onto. I also had gua shua and laser therapy that was super effective in working out misalignments that I’ve had in my body for years.

I went to Taylor initially without understanding the kind of work he does, and THANK GOD I did. I was suffering from a painful left shoulder and jaw / neck issues for several weeks from what I thought was a biking overuse injury (turns out emotional stress was probably also a factor). I woke up one morning at 4:30am in agony and decided to look for someone to do a massage that day. Luckily I stumbled upon Taylor. When I arrived a few minutes late, and because of that feeling a little flustered, Taylor was waiting for me outside to help me find his space. Immediately he had a calming presence. As we went over my issue, he was thoughtful and kind. We did some cupping and light massage before he started doing P-DTR to try to get my upper shoulder muscle to re-engage. I had no clue what he was doing and honestly in the moment thought it seemed a little crazy / woowoo. BUT IT WORKED. The pain that had been plaguing me for weeks resolved right after that session. Thank you Taylor. I'm so happy I found you and am looking forward to working with you more in the future.

Tayler is thoughtful and both his neurological and soft tissue work are outstanding. I have gone to Tayler for bodywork when I was limping due to knee pain and also for stress related back and shoulder pain. I’ve seen many massage therapists and physical therapists and Tayler is the best of the best.

After my first session at Level Up, my neck and lower back already feels so much better. The treatments are very detailed and catered to your body unlike a generic massage places. Definitely going to be a regular for my chronic pain.

I attended level up massage after going through chemotherapy for testicular cancer. Although my health was recovering well, I had an overall sense of negative well-being and feeling “off.” Tayler was able to identify through functional neurology and empathic listening what I was experiencing, and address it through targeted solutions. The immediate relief I’ve experienced has been amazing, improving my sleep, releasing spots of pain, and generally making my quality of life better. Highly recommend.

I just had to share this incredible experience I had with Tayler's massage. I suffer from TMJ disorder and decided to give Tayler's massage a try. However, after my massage with him two days ago, not only did the muscle soreness disappear, but even my bite felt more comfortable! It was like magic! I am definitely going to seek out Tayler's services again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a massage therapist.

I rarely write service reviews but my experience with Level Up, explicitly Tayler, has to be shared. Tayler was professional, intentional, and specific in getting to my care needs with P-DTR assessment and massage techniques. I highly recommend.

Tayler's massage work has been super helpful in relieving jaw mis-alignment & pain and areas of significant tension and tightness from long hours at the computer and trail running. His deep, therapeutic approach is extremely impactful and well worth the time and money spent. In only 2 sessions I've seen more improvement than I would normally see in 4 or 5 sessions of deep tissue massage. This was the first time I've had inter-oral work and it's amazing. If you are looking for someone to really fix things quickly, Taylor is the right person! I can recommend him.
Feb 06, 2023
Absolutely fantastic experience! Tayler incorporated a delightful variety of techniques into the session including P-DTR, guasha, and cupping. He was very thorough in his intake and ensured I was comfortable throughout the session. My only negative is that I didn't book a longer session 😂 Will be back!

Cannot say enough amazing things about Level Up! I went to Tayler for a massage to relieve some bad neck muscle tension, having never even heard of P-DTR before. I left a firm believer and keep going back for more. Not only did I receive an OUTSTANDING massage (including cupping which I'd never done before but now can't get enough of), but it's no exaggeration to say that after maybe 15 minutes of P-DTR (or "functional neurology" as Tayler describes it) I was able to turn my head without ANY pain for the first time in several months. Aside from how unbelievable that was for me, going to see Tayler is such an enjoyable experience in itself. He's professional, kind, and really attentive to every detail. He genuinely wants to help people live pain-free and it's evident in his dedication to this work. He's incredibly knowledgeable, and is really passionate about explaining the science behind everything. I'm SO grateful I happened to stumble into his path, because I can confidently say no matter the injury (acute, chronic) or dysfunction, Tayler will be able to eliminate it.

I had a tiny test session with Tayler for my shoulder that resulted in more complete, comfortable use of my whole right arm. I struggled with some parts frozen and some parts overworking and some parts not doing much of anything. He used proprioceptive deep tendon reflex and that tiny session was so helpful, I booked a full session for my back. I had burning, tingling, numbness, cramping from my low back all the way down my right leg since April. Driving was excruciating. Hiking was limited to short nearly flat walks. My caving and canyoning were almost impossible. The pain and cramping were so debilitating, I wondered if I was going to have to radically change my lifestyle permanently. Tayler used a combination of techniques including proprioceptive deep tendon reflex and functional neurological work. His willingness to talk about and experiment with what might help me was awesome and encouraging. The end result of that one full session was complete reversal of the burning, tingling, cramping pain! I was able to drive without discomfort. I hiked between 8 and 9 miles the Saturday following my appointment with Tayler, and 3 miles Sunday and still drive home! I am able to work all day without pain, and I am no longer squirming in my chair trying to find a comfortable position. My most surprising result of the functional neurological work Tayler did was my stomach and digestive system issues have improved dramatically. I was in a car crash years ago, and ever since, these have been very complicated and dysfunctional. Thank you, Tayler, for giving my life back to me!!

I work a desk job, and I've suffered the gamut of related chronic pain over the past 2+ years: neck, back, shoulder, forearm, wrist, etc. I've seen over 7 different massage therapists in that time, and what I appreciate most about my time with Tayler is that it feels like he's really invested in your progress. The beginning of each session is a back and forth conversation, and you can tell he's thinking through and then testing theories as he works, personalizing a treatment to your symptoms and priorities. It feels like you're on this journey to understand your body and its dysfunctions together. I initially came in for my jaw pain because another massage therapist recommended I try intra-oral massage. It's not a comfortable experience, but the results are well worth it; I could notice a dramatic difference after just a couple of minutes (you think one side of your jaw is tight, and then it releases so much that you start feeling like it's actually the other side of your jaw that's tight - and then he fixes that side, too!). On top of that, he was able to address some of my arm/shoulder issues in that same first session, restoring shoulder range of motion I hadn't had for years and had just accepted as "I guess this is how it is now". I'm excited to keep working with Tayler to see what other improvements we can make!

Tayler is Outstanding! The massage I received was the most effective i’ve ever had. Couldn’t be happier with the result. He suggest cupping with my massage and really dug into the problem areas and now I have much better mobility in my shoulders. He really knows his profession. I am looking forward to coming back here again. :)

Taylor has helped me improve my back pain with the P-DTR methods he used to identify key issues and resolve them. I have been working him for 10 months and 8 session and in that time my back pain has gone from a 7-8 daily down to less then a 2!! My chronic pain is gone and I attribute that to my combination neurology treatments along with the massages. I highly recommend Taylor for anyone who wants to not only get rid of chronic back pain but also to improve mobility, stress relief and elevate your overall well being.

Taylor is extremely dedicated to his profession. He provides targeted massages, he KNOWS exactly WHAT HE IS DOING. He spent time with me to talk about any trauma and injuries in my past. He uses massage and neurology therapy to correct any dysfunctions. His knowledge floored me, and he was very willing to share with me anything I was curious about. What sets him apart from other massage therapists is how he personalizes the session to target exactly what’s wrong. We also did some cupping which helped to release fascia in my body and I felt my energy circulating for the rest of the day afterward.

The most wholehearted 5 stars I could possibly give. I have seen Tayler twice now and have found profound relief from neck pain, headaches and neck mobility issues that I have had my entire adult life. I am 37 years old and fortunate to be in good shape and health and yet was plagued by chronic discomfort and pain that made me feel much older than I am. I had never heard of P-DTR before meeting Tayler but was game for anything that could help my pain. Tayler is informative and caring. He communicates clearly what his process is and why he's doing it. I have learned so much about my own body and brain in only these two sessions. His massage work is just as amazing as his functional neurology work. He utilized cupping and massage to work on the scar tissue and adhesion's that have been limiting my range of motion and I have felt lasting relief for the first time. Bottom line, Tayler is a rare find. He's professional and compassionate and has a healing energy. Genuinely so thankful to have found him!

When I went to Tayler for my first three sessions I went in with chronic pain from the past 7 years. I had some very angry adhesions around my glutes, calves, and IT band from years of sprinting and jumping in elite level volleyball and basketball. I suffered an Achilles tendon rupture and still have some scar tissue around the site as well. I have purchased various percussion and recovery tools and have seen an innumerable amount of massage therapists and physical therapists and they were unable to to provide me with the precise treatment work that I needed. I am an educator who has not been able to engage in the Weekly Warrior games and activities that bring me such joy and peace for years. Not only is he a phenomenal therapist, but he’s a pretty cool, laid back yet firm dude. Tayler listened to my needs and used multiple methods throughout his session, ranging from: functional neurology work to help resolve longterm physical and emotional trauma/damage, cupping along my back and thighs, to gua sha which really helped get into my scar tissue. The massage tied in with the proprioceptive work really helped release and relieve years of pain, and I was able to go home, reflect, rest, and receive another treatment later that week. Once again, the combination of methods and Tayler talking me through everything really helped me feel confident about my recovery. I was able to move laterally, sprint, jumprope, and perform stats and lunges without any pain. My muscles were fatigued from not being activated in such a long time, but there was no pain. I was able to play some pickup basketball for 2 hours and was amazed at how well my body was responding to my movements. I rested for a couple of days and played again for about 90 minutes and I am still feeling strong and healthy. After a few more treatment sessions and hoop sessions, I believe I will be moving without hesitation on and off the court. Just these results alone have increased my confidence and has improved my overall morale because it has been such a long time since I have not been in pain. It’s still strange to me, I can’t really explain it. For years I felt aches and pains in each step throughout the day and it was always in the forefront of my mind during explosive plyometrics workouts. I will continue to see Tayler and tell anyone about him who cares to listen. If you are looking for 5* quality treatment, please give him a call or send him a message.

Five stars doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’ve been seeing Tayler for three months, and he’s done more for me in those sessions than any sports medicine doctor, PT or other specialist has done in YEARS. I’ve dealt with chronic hip issues for five years, and have been an athlete my whole life and sustained many injuries or “traumas” as Tayler calls them. I originally scheduled an appointment for deep tissue massage completely oblivious to his other offerings. I ended up leaving that first appointment also getting gua sha, cupping and (the most life changing) P-DTR! Tayler uncovered and corrected countless neurologically-tied traumas I’ve just lived with for years thinking they were permanent. While some dysfunctions took two sessions to fix, others I have sustained and never had to deal with again after ONE session. The amount of pain relief I’ve had is truly unbelievable. Each session is tailored how I want it, sometimes I want more P-DTR work and other times I want more deep tissue work. He ALWAYS checks in that I’m consenting (I have never felt more comfortable as a woman with a male therapist) and answers every one of my many questions about his work with enthusiasm. He checks in after every session to see how my recovery is and if I notice any differences. I’m so much more aware of and in tune with my body now. There is no doubt Tayler loves what he’s doing and wants to help as many people as he can with it. Book a session, you will NOT regret it.

I ABSOLUTELY ❤ this place of business! I was searching for a place to receive a simple massage and I stumbled across this place by accident. I made an appointment and my session turned out to be better than what I was expecting. He focuses on deep tissue and lighter pressure if preferred. He provides gua sha and cupping which helps with blood flow. I was also having issues with leg cramps. He is currently helping my calf muscles to relax. Now when i walk, my calves feel so much smoother. My muscles has been more relaxed and I'm much more flexible since I've been utilizing his services. The severe tension i was facing has gone down an abundance. Every part of the body he works on feels SOOOOOOOO AMAZING!!! He is extremely professional, very kind and knowledgeable. As he goes along working on each pressure point, he explains what he is doing and why. He answers any questions without hesitation. I've been utilizing his services for 3 weeks now and I already have my next appointment booked. Please make an appointment with him. You will NOT be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about Tayler! He is very kind, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping his clients achieve results. His facility is always clean, tidy, and welcoming. I always leave feeling so relaxed and free from tension. I work at a desk, and carry the majority of my tension in my neck and shoulders. In an effort to seek relief from chronic migraines that I was experiencing, I started seeing Tayler in 2018. After receiving a handful of regular monthly deep tissue massages, the frequency of my migraines decreased significantly, and my range of motion throughout my body increased. I have tried other massage therapists, but they come nowhere close to achieving the results I get from Tayler. One of the main reasons why I choose to continue to see Tayler is that he is constantly looking to improve his skills and apply new, effective techniques to his practice. Since I began seeing him in 2018, Tayler has incorporated gua sha and cupping into his practice, both of which yield great results. One day, he asked if I experience tightness in my jaw muscles (which I do), and offered intraoral massage (something he had just learned) as a solution. While it may sound like a strange experience to those who are not familiar, the results I get from intraoral massage are immediate and have brought so much relief into my life, that we now try to incorporate it into each session. These days, I experience migraines so rarely, which I truly attribute to my regular sessions with Level Up Massage. Tayler has also kindly provided me with tools that I can use at home - recommended stretches, cupping, and CBD tinctures - which have prolonged the results I receive through massage. I am grateful that he has a variety of CBD products to choose from, as they have proven to be very effective for reducing tension and relaxing my muscles between sessions. All in all, I cannot recommend Level Up Massage enough! Whether you are looking for relief from tension and pain, or are simply looking for a relaxing massage, I encourage you to book an appointment through Level Up Massage.

I have had a few sessions with Tayler from Level Up. I've settled on 90 minutes as a good amount of time to have some significant body and nerve (neurological) work done, and a little time for some relaxation massage, as well. Tayler is extremely communicative during each session and works to make sure my health, fitness, and mobility goals are being attained immediately and considering the long term. Also, I had cupping done for the first time with Tayler and found cupping a more lasting solution to some of the tension I carry in my back and shoulders! *Edited to correct the spelling of Tayler's name.

I have had three sessions with Tayler and each one has incorporated a variety of modalities - cupping, fascia scraping / gua sha, CBD oil, deep tissue massage, and heat application. Tayler listens intently to what you're seeking and asks a lot of questions to understand issues, pain, lack of mobility, etc. He also takes the time to confirm what I've said and explain what he thinks is going on and how he wants to treat the particular problem. Tayler continues to gain new skills and further his toolkit which demonstrates his commitment and professionalism. I feel like my sessions are completely tailored to me and that I have a partner in my health care with Tayler. If you're ready to WORK on your body I would highly recommend Tayler.

I recently had a massage session with Tayler where he was using proprioceptive deep tendon techniques on me. To a person without much anatomical knowledge, these words may not mean a lot. What is helpful to know is that the work was simple and comfortable, and didn't require me to disrobe at all. It was painless, and most importantly it is incredibly effective. I have had three separate instances of neck trauma which have caused me years of chronic issues, including persistent headaches. At the time that I saw Tayler I had been on the 4th day of consecutive headaches which were causing me a lot of discomfort. It has been more than a week since the session, and I have not had a single headache. I have also noticed that I haven't had any trouble with my shoulders, which were also a chronic issue for me. Furthermore, my legs and core feel more stable, and I have not had any pain or issues in using my hands, arms and shoulders.I would absolutely recommend this work, especially for people who may not be comfortable disrobing and lying on a table for more traditional methods of body work. I'm looking forward to working with Tayler again.

I went to Taylor to have a relaxing 90 min massage well that was not the case as he started on my back he noticed lots of areas that needed much attention. He is great at what he does and is very knowledgeable about the body highly recommend him.

I’ve had limited range of motion in my right knee compared to my left. Taylor had me do about two minutes of foam rolling on the right quad and then we compared the range of motion again. While the rolling felt awkward (love those knots), I was dumbfounded that the range bow almost matches my left knee.

Look no further. I don’t usually leave reviews but Tayler is the man. It’s fortunate to meet someone that will caters their practice to your needs, and he does it in spades while educating you on why. Highly, highly recommend. I’m a former athlete that has trouble with back, shoulder, and hip problems. Even after my first session I feel fantastic. It’s close in Queen Anne and impossible to beat in terms of quality. Be upfront about your needs and body, he’ll tailor it just for you.

So first off, Taylor is awesome! He's very friendly and professional during our sessions. He communicates with you to find out what exactly it is that you want in a session, answering any questions you may have along the way. He's also extremely dedicated to improving his craft. I've had 2 treatments with him so far which included intraoral massage, cupping, deep tissue and gua sha. I've seen cupping on TV and always wanted to try it and I was not disappointed! I also have a lot of upper body tension, including issues with clenching that cause me to have tension headaches. The first round of intraoral massage we did was pretty intense, but I could feel a huge difference. We did some extensive work on my back and shoulders as well which was amazing. After our first session I felt much lighter and found it easier to stand up straight since I sit at a desk most of the day and find myself hunched over at times, adding to my tension. Overall I would highly recommend Taylor. I purchased a 5 pack of sessions as we have some problem areas to work on but it is worth every penny. Update: I finished my 5 sessions and feel fantastic. I plan to continue seeing Tayler since I can feel the benefit of routinely getting kinks worked out that build up over time or especially after a weekend hiking!

Taylor is very experienced and used cupping and deep tissue modalities to help relieve my shoulder and arm pain. I highly recommend his work!

Taylor is very professional and really wants to help you with whatever issue/pain/discomfort you are having. I've seen him for a few months now and am happy every time. His approach is wholistic in the sense that he wants to know your goals, things you do to help with your pain outside of massage, etc. It isn't a cookie cutter experience. Last time I tried the intraoral massage for the first time and it was really impressive how relaxed my whole jaw/neck area felt afterward. Definitely a different feeling than your normal massage, but worth it if you're having jaw issues!

That was the best message ever. Tayler really knows what he's doing. I was so impressed with how Tayler incorporates several tools to help release my extremely tight and painful shoulder. One session gave me so much relief and more mobility. I am convinced that his technique is the therapy that I need and will be making regular visits.

This man knows his way around a body!! I had a phenomenal massage! All my pain places were addressed, my voice was heard and I'm not even sore. Highly intuitive to pressure and tolerance. A rare therapist indeed! A MUST SEE!

Tyler is passionate about helping people. I have been struggling with back pain for a while, and a couple go days after my first session with Tyler, I felt so much better! Give Tyler a try and you will know!
