LEVITY Float Studio

I have been a patron of Levity Float Studio for years. The service was always top-notch; the facility was spotless; the staff was friendly and made you feel relaxed and welcome. Unfortunately, in my most recent visit, I learned it has come under new ownership and I was very disappointed in how dirty it was. In the past, everything was pristine. This time, the bathroom floor, sink, and toilets hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The float tank itself had a layer of salt buildup around the door, and I wondered when it was last wiped off. I went ahead with the float, knowing that no germs could survive in that level of salinity, but I wondered if they were still regularly running the saltwater through their filtration system after every client. I didn’t hear the filter run after I exited the tank, as I had in the past. I personally will find another float company to visit the next time I want to float.

I had an incredible experience at Levity Float! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The beautiful artwork on the walls added to the calming atmosphere and set the tone for a truly peaceful experience. The float itself was amazing! Pure relaxation like I’ve never felt before. My body feels so refreshed and rejuvenated afterward. I can’t recommend Levity Float enough! I’ll definitely be back!!

My wife and I tried this out and weren't sure what to expect. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The owner was very friendly and walked us through the process. The shower was warm and refreshing. It takes a few minutes to acclimate yourself once in the tank and in complete darkness. It was very relaxing and soothing. I found that my tinnitus and muscles aches had slowly disappeared while in there. Definitely recommend giving this a try.

I wasn't sure what to expect walking in to my first float, but Dave was very warm and welcoming. He has a very calming and relaxing presence. He walked me through what to do and how to work everything. My float was amazing!!!! I felt comfortable and safe, which allowed me to fully relax and enjoy all the benefits of the sensory deprivation float tank. When I was finished, I showered, got dressed, and came out to the front room where a small glass of hot tea and a bottle of water were waiting for me. I can't wait to go back for my next float!!!!

Aesthetic simplicity? The space is beautiful, without being extra. The staff was super helpful while also offering everything I needed to know to enjoy my float. Everything was just enough, and as a person who is very over this culture of more - am appreciative of cozy, supportive, effective design decisions.

If you’re reading this, JUST GIVE IT A TRY! I promise you, as soon as you walk into Levity you will feel like you’re levitating. The memberships are so reasonable and even a float a month will provide such great benefits. Do it! You won’t regret taking the time to self-care and ending it with a Fiji water and Dobra tea (hot or cold depending on the temp ;))

This place is amazing! I was a little nervous about being in the dark, but after talking with the person there felt very comfortable. The float itself was really wonderful and I look forward to my next visit! I can't recommend it enough!!

This place is amazing. The owner is the most zen guy I’ve ever met. The rooms are always clean and the float tanks are roomy. Give your self a chance to truly disconnect from everything.

This was absolutely amazing. Being a parent of two toddlers is extremely difficult. I rarely ever get time to sit down, let alone lay down in stillness and it was amazing. I highly recommend this to everybody. Dave is such a nice, friendly guy and the atmosphere is so nice and relaxing.

Floating at Levity is such a treat. I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and even my muscles feel great after a float. The studio has a calming vibe from the minute you walk in, it's always really clean, and the staff are chill and professional. Sometimes, I even fall asleep in the tank, and it's the BEST nap ever. Floating at Levity is great for my mental health and self-care.

I was not at all sure what to expect from this experience, and I worried that the combo of sensory deprivation and 60m would spike anxiety and claustrophobia. The lovely human manning the front desk made me feel instantly at ease with his beautiful energy and detailed explanation of the space/experience, and I’m happy to report that it was astonishingly enjoyable. The time flew and I couldn’t believe an hour had actually passed. It did take about 5-10 minutes to truly relax into the water, and to trust that my body was safe, but once I let go, I experienced some super interesting shadow visuals and a lot of awareness around intuition/third eye space and how often I block reception of that space with tension. Overall, it was a lovely experience gifted to me by my bestie in honor of a milestone birthday that I put off for far too long! Will definitely return—the only thing I wish is that it was closer to my house. Check it out, even if (maybe especially if!) you’re not sure it’s your thing. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

My go-to float tank studio. If you've heard about sensory deprivation float tanks and have been curious, give Levity a try. I try to go at least once a month, but I'd love to go once a week. It's great to decompress for an hour. You'll feel like a new person after an hour of no sounds, lights, and floating on a cloud in salt water. Dave, the owner, is so kind and welcoming, he'll walk you through everything step by step for your first time. In a world of constant distraction, this is something we can all use. Try Levity once, and you'll be back again.

Went for my second float this evening. Much different than the first. Without the novelty of first experience, I relaxed into the experience more quickly. It is a deeply personal experience. I'm looking forward to regular sessions. And I'll keep trying to get others to embrace the experience.

I am writing this review after my first floating experience. I can say without a doubt that Dave has put so much thought into everything as soon as you walk in the door by educating and listening to your needs. I will say the experience of floating was overwhelming to my anxiety as a first timer, but I can see how it can be incorporated into a meditation practice and I’m open to go again now that I know what to expect. Following your session, before you leave you can relax in the lobby with a locally sourced herbal tea and water. I feel Dave is great at providing a comfortable setting for all who are curious.

Personal heaven! As a first time floater, I didn’t know what to even begin expecting from a sensory deprivation float. But I was blown away! Right from the start, Dave was very caring and personal. He made sure to explain the beautiful art pieces in the hallway going to the rooms, explained the process in detail and showed how the water is cleaned/purified after every session. The vibe of the place is very relaxing and chic. During the float, I have never been that relaxed before. A bonus that stayed after the float is the easing of my pain. I have chronic joint and back pain as a result from my line of work/the sports I’ve played, and after my float (lasting the entire day, it has only been 12 hours so far) my pain has been significantly decreased. My mood stayed constantly relaxed and proved that this was definitely worth trying out! After my float session, the perfect ending was whenever Dave had freshly brewed decaffeinated tea and a bottle of water ready for me. I bought 4 sessions before leaving and I cannot wait to come back!
