Lex is a creative stylist, her style is impressive plus she uses amazing professional products - also available for purchase. This salon is impeccably clean and parking is easy which is rare for a location in Oldtown so all & all, i recommend this salon!

Alexis is brilliant and a true artist of her craft. She has given me the best advice on color and best extension options for my hair. I have had extensions off and on over the course of 20 years, and this has been the best experience i have ever had. I think these are the most beautiful extensions I have ever seen, very natural feeling and looking along with a comfortable install. The compliments that I get from strangers is a true testament to her skills and talents.

I have been going to Alexis to get my hair done since she was in school for this. She has colored, cut, and given me much needed extensions all with care and next level professionalism. She knows her stuff! I would recommend and strongly encourage every and anyone to see Alexis for anything hair! She’s the best out there!

UPDATE: 4/2/24 I previously posted a review a few days about my experience. I have screenshots of the exchange between her and I. I waited 24 hours before posting these to give her a chance to reply. Unfortunately, she still won't give me a refund of $130 for the haircut still. Worst customer service I've had in the beauty industry so far. — Original post: I received a hair color and cut from Lex last month and I’ve been attempting to get a refund from her for the haircut she provided me. After the initial appointment with her, I was very satisfied as my hair was styled and I couldn’t see how terrible my cut was. After going home and going to work with it still styled, my coworkers started to tell me my haircut was crooked. I went home and washed my hair which is naturally stick straight to discover for myself that my hair was BOTCHED. Not only was one side almost an inch and a half longer. There’s no layers and there’s a hack job on what was supposed to be my face framing pieces. This was a $650 service without products. Which she NEVER let me know from the beginning how much my service would be. Later the same week I received my haircut, I let lex know my haircut was off and I came in. After sitting on the fact that was my hair was so bad, I decided I wanted to get a refund for the haircut only. Lex not only refused to refund me, but she told me I had to let her fix my hair and if I still didn’t like it she would only refund HALF of the haircut. I found out that this second stop by I had with her, that my haircut was $130. So the refund would be $65 and loss of my time and energy. I decided to let Lex even out my hair at this appointment even tho I was clearly upset, however I explained to her I didn’t feel comfortable with her touching the interior since there’s random chunks taken that are “layers”. Felt like this was a people pleaser action on my part letting her “fix” it since I really didn’t want to let her correct it, but I did. I’m incredibly disappointed about how my hair still looks. I would like my refund for my haircut so I can get it fixed elsewhere. I’ve attached photos of proof of how blunt and botched my hair is.

I’ve been going to Jess for over 4 years. She’s amazing! The salon is amazing, and I feel comfortable and welcome every time. I actually drive from out of town about 2.5 hours bc of how great she does!

I love jess! I happened upon her IG in late 2022 while searching a Flagstaff stylist. She transformed my relationship with my hair. I was devastated to hear she was leaving Flagstaff last year. I have seen her twice since she made the move to Scottsdale- worth the 4.5 hr trip from my rural area. She has the ability to turn my often vague descriptions of color into hair magic. I always leave happy and eager to make the next appointment! Our kiddos are around the same age so we are ‘same girl, same’ besties. I cannot recommend her enough. 🙂

I’ve been going to Jess for almost 3 years now and let me tell you she is worth the drive from Flagstaff. Jess is so sweet and personable, it’s always a blast seeing her and she has magic hands when it comes to the perfect brunette variation we’ve done more blonde balayage added some pastel pink then dark back to light then to red balayage and rich chocolate brown. I adore her and I can’t wait til my next appointment 🩷

Jess has been doing my hair for 3 years now ("doing" seems like a very undermining verb as Jess is truly an artist). I am so incredibly lucky that I sat in her chair 3 years ago and still get to come see her now at Lex & Co. Jess has seen me through countless inspo pics & has such an incredible way of helping me figure out exactly what I want & keeping it healthy on the way. Not only is Jess knowledgable and extremely talented- sitting in her chair is easy. Jess is kind, funny, always your biggest hype-woman and just genuinely great to be around. Jess is an amazing hair stylist that I’ve gone to for over 4 years. She has always done the best job on my hair, leaving it bright, blonde, and toned perfectly every time. Jess is the best there is. I was a client of hers when she was in Flagstaff and her work is so amazing that when she moved to Scottsdale I now make the drive to see her. As a blonde, it’s hard to find someone who does a nice job with coloring and blending but she nails it every time. I get tons of compliments on my hair. If you want an honest and talented hairdresser, Jess is your girl!

Lex & Co is such a beautiful salon, and I wanted to get a Bob and found Lex on IG. I actually flew from New York to get a cut in Arizona! It was worth it! Lex is very knowledgeable, talented and very kind. I told her what I wanted and she explained what would work for me and just did a fabulous job! She even recommended products to get and how to use them! I really enjoyed the process and she made me feel confident in trusting her! I also love that she was educating me on how to blow it out too as she is doing! I’m so happy with the cut! It’s a whole new vibe and I’m loving it! I highly recommend and her co worker Jess also does great hair and color! The two of them are killing the salon! 10/10 recommend it’.

I have been going to Lex for two years. When I first started going to her my hair was over processed, dry and brittle and would not grow past my shoulders! She literally nursed my hair back to health and would not bleach me until she felt my hair was healthy again. She’s the first stylist that ever told me “no” and was honest with her recommendations…exactly what I needed in my life! Now my hair is healthy, past my shoulders and blonde ! I could not recommend her more, she’s truly a master at her craft!!! Don’t walk ladies….RUN and book an appointment, she is the best!!!

I’m always indecisive when it comes to my hair. I overload my camera with screen shots and my Pinterest wall is a bit overwhelming. The day has come to finally get a haircut after neglecting my hair for sometime so my nerves are getting real. I walk in to my appointment and I see Jessica and I’m immediately taken in by her calm demeanor and I swap out my phone and show her only one photo and she knew right away what I was going for. Lex and Co is clean, aesthetically pleasing and well laid out. The hairdressers are kind and professional. Jess is incredible at her craft, she works to gather a vision from her clients and effortlessly blends colors to create perfect dimension, balayage and highlights. I left feeling refreshed and confident. She truly listens and executes what you ask of her while maintaining honesty and realistic expectations with clients. You walk into Lex & Co and immediately feel like family. Lex works MAGIC on hair, I have never felt so confident after getting my hair done in my life. Not only is she amazing at her craft, she makes every client that sits in her chair feel like a life long friend. I walk out of Lex & Co not only feeling brand new with fresh hair but with a new perspective on life after chatting with Lex for a few hours.
